We had a memorable stay in this very professional and kid-friendly establishment. We thank the service of Simona and all her colleagues in the restaurant (Myriam and all the others), as well as the reception, the tips and tricks of Mr Call every evening and the kindness of the housekeeping staff. The infrastructure is complete and well maintained, the dishes are delicious and the place is magnificent.

The hotel is beautiful, in a spectacular location. Covered parking is great as is the 3/4 food option, you definitely won’t go hungry. As a couple, we were pleased to have an adult pool and spa area. These were very busy at times though so couldn’t actually swim. The food was spectacular at times and at others quite strange, also the same with the staff, some were lovely and smiling, others clearly in the wrong job. We were happy to leave as on the last day there were children running around the dining room everywhere and it was chaotic.

The Excelsior hotel is, without doubt, one of the best we have stayed at. Our third time there this year and we shall return. The staff are the friendliest, the owners are superb and give you their best attention, the rooms are lovely and the ski in/out aspect is second to none. As for the rooftop swimming pool, it is so wonderful, we love it.

What's great: My family and I greatly enjoyed our ski vacation at Excelsior. The rooms and public spaces are very comfortable and welcoming. Food ranges from good to truly excellent and they went out of their way to prepare a local dish for us which my wife had come to love on a prior trip. The ski-in/ski-out is very convenient (rental skis get delivered to your private ski locker on the ground floor) and we loved swimming in the rooftop pool at night with a view of the village and the stars. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. What's ok but could be improved a bit: The gym is useable but the weight equipment is not great if you're into more intense work-outs. The decor is a bit of a mix across the decades when it was built - not so easy to fix though. And the massage we got was "just ok".

Simply the best in every way. Cannot wait to come back. Hotel, staff, walks, the guests. Best holiday I have ever had in Europe. And not to mention the food. Every meal is beyond quality. The best family holiday. The week before I was in Greece and it did not compare.

A wonderful stay! Everything was SUPERB the room, the hotel, the adult spa and the family spa, the food (available any time of the day), any single person of the staff (from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the people keeping the place spotless). It was our first time, but we are coming back for the winter holidays!

We visited the hotel together with our adult children. Nice experience - rooms are recently renewed, as well as the spa. Spa areas have a very nice atmosphere, also like the split of the 2 spa areas - very kind service - we rate the food compared to similar hotels as average.

Awesome experience. Great rooms, adult and kids pools and Saunas, awesome food. You get a breakfast, lunch, and afternoon buffet. And a 5-course dinner. The owner is around, very friendly. He loves the mountains and meets with guests at 5:30pm to give advice for hiking and mountain biking days. He clearly loves his job. And every single staff member is super nice. (One exception: kids complained that ＜12 year olds are not allowed to ride the elevator alone :-) Probably best hotel I ever stayed at!

This yer we chose the Dolomites for our weekly family skiing trip! Excelsior came recommended from a family friend and we couldn’t be happier with making this choice! The beautiful hotel run by the Call family is a unique modern alpine resort offering excellent service, amazing food and super amenities for the whole family! It is located on the pistes in San Vigilio, just an easy ride to Kronplatz. The experience exceeded our expectations and we all enjoyed our time there. The family and staff make sure that each guest is taken care of in a special way! I highly recommend Excelsior and the Dolomites for a relaxing and care free vacation!! Can’t wait to go back!
