The room is good, and it takes 5 minutes to walk from Sunrise Pier.

Excellent location, just back from the beach less than 100M from the pier. Many loungers available for guests in the shade of the trees. Host very helpful with recommendations & booking trips. I was initially concerned with not having Aircon but the fan + wide open windows worked well.

We found everything we had hoped for in our Christmas getaway at Castaway Resort on Koh Lipe. Beautiful garden setting only steps from the beach. Amazing snorkelling right in front of the resort (but don't miss diving with Castaway Divers too). A lovely, attentive team takes great care of the resort and guests, we loved hanging out at the restaurant overlooking Sunrise Beach for hours on end. Castaway Resort quickly turned into our tropical home away from home for our 10 day stay. Super family friendly und unhurried atmosphere, even during their Christmas peak. We hope to be back! (We booked our stay+scuba diving directly via email and their fabulous reservations team handled everything perfectly, including our minivan/boat transfers).

Although our vacation was filled with joy and memorable moments, I must mention the only downside we encountered. The lack of sufficient lighting outside at night posed a safety hazard, as my wife unfortunately tripped and hurt her ankle. However, it is worth noting that the resort staff responded swiftly and provided immediate assistance, ensuring she received the necessary care. While this incident was unfortunate, it did not overshadow the overall fantastic experience we had at Irene Resort. In conclusion, our vacation at Irene Resort in Koh Lipe was an extraordinary experience. The impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and the island's natural beauty left us with lasting memories. Stunning location sunrise beach with attached beachfront Benny's on the Beach restaurant (I have also reviewed this little gem!). The dive shop had a great vibe with instructors and a team who clearly know what they are doing. Comfortable rooms and FREE WATER! They provide Trash Hero Bottles for water refills during your stay to add to their Eco Ethos. 30 steps from my room to watch the sunrise every day. Quiet, clean and super comfortable beds. If you are looking to eat well, sleep well and dive on Koh Lipe, this is the place to stay!
