PPengguna TetamuThe apartment was overall very good! I didn't expect it to be good tbh. If you don't know any chinese, it is recommended to download wechat in advance to communicate better. The owner was so kind and nice. They answered all of my questions despite the time. The location is good, too. There's a convenience store near the lobby. I think less than a 100-meter walk there's like a small supermarket. If you like to walk, around 700 meters there's like a luxury shopping lot. Around 600 meters, there's a train station. It may be an apartment, but there's no utensils or anything to cook on. You gotta bring your own or buy. I dont know if you can ask the owner because we brought our own. The guards at the lobby are also nice. I love it. Will definitely come again when I have the chance.

When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised—it was clean, hygienic, free of any odors, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot water in the shower came out quickly, which helped wash away all my fatigue. Given the price, staying at a hotel of this quality offers incredible value for money. No complaints at all—everything was just perfect. If I come to this area again, I’ll definitely choose this hotel. Highly recommended

I had an amazing 6-day stay at the Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel, and it was the perfect place to celebrate my son’s second birthday! The hotel is conveniently located near the Panjiayuan Shilihe Subway Station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. It truly felt like a home away from home.
What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff—Chi Chi, Chi Linfeng, and Henguan. They were all incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. A big thank you to Chi Linfeng for his assistance in booking tours to the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China, which were highlights of our trip.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. The hotel’s attention to detail and the wonderful service from the team made my son’s birthday even more memorable. I highly recommend the Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel for anyone visiting the city—it’s a fantastic choice for families and travelers alike.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis was my favorite place to stay during my month in China! Excellent location, once you figure it out it's easy to find (my taxi drive had a bit of trouble at first). I stayed here the longest so it felt the most homey, and I had most of the things I needed for everyday life. The first week I stayed here was booked through my Chinese colleagues, so this may have influenced the room I was given or similar.
My room was quiet and comfortable. Everything was clean. There was a safe and plenty of towels and many other things I needed for daily life. The manager, Carrie, spoke English very well and was super competent. The security guards and maids were very friendly.
I basically only have one critique: There were no pots and pans, oil or anything really for daily cooking. There was a fridge, a mini stove top, a kettle and a microwave as well as four plates, two sets of chopsticks, two forks and two knives, two small spoons and two mugs. There was no kitchen knife or peeler, cutting board or anything like that (or sponge & dish soap!). So the stove top was basically useless. That was disappointing for what is called a serviced apartment. The maid did clean dirty dishes, if there were any.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel has a nice concept or safari theme but somewhat under delivered. The pictures were nice but I think these are old pictures as it definitely needs upkeep or we think due for renovation and cleanliness of the surrounding needs more manpower. Pool is questionable and not inviting.
Plus side: Very close to the great wall you can literally walk about 1km away to the gate. And the nearby grocery is a cheap way to buy local gifts to bring home. However you are far from the main Beijing City as in more than 1 hour by taxi and 2 hours if you get caught in the rush hour of beijing cost which cost about US$20 one way.
The room is clean, big and decent for the price but really needs repair and I really question the security of the door as it was no secondary lock. The hot water is plenty, aircon is nice, internet is ok, soap is great.
Service: They are family run I think 3 or 4 people, they try to accommodate but unlike other hotels in China, they don't try to utilize tech to translate. I understand they are kinda old.
They don't automatically make up the room even though we stayed for 3 nights. so our garbage filed up. But we are ok with it.
They were waiting even though we arrived at 2am which we appreciated. And the iced coffee is nice.
Bad: Food maybe it is not our preferred taste. It is definitely not a buffet and we only eat once. You have alternative restaurants across the street or in the Great Wall commercial area but it is expensive.
So will we recommend it, maybe.

TthousandmilesNot worth the price and disappointing - I booked this place after looking at the images on the website, they looked very convincing. So I booked it for me and my wife to spend a relaxing day looking at the peaceful mountains and forest. However those pictures were quite misleading. The hotel is a compound of lackluster buildings build to a mountain side right next to the road. The view is nothing like in the website photos but quite mediocre.
The room was quite good and modern. Which was the only plus point. Also the smart toilet and bathroom with the bathtub was nice, but it was evident the hotel staff needs to learn more about housekeeping. It seems like they were penny pinching. The bedsheets had holes in them, no glasses to drink water, only two water bottles and only two packs of coffee. Very very disappointing for the price I paid for one night.
Furthermore although it says 24 hours concierge service，after 9 pm they stop responding to messages on wechat. I asked in Chinese to send some water bottles and glasses but they didn't respond. Very unprofessional.
The breakfast was also pretty basic. Not even fresh juice, just a typical Chinese breakfast you will find in any low budget hotel.
The swimming pool was so so and dirty. Other amenities were for kids, so I can't comment on those.
Overall the hotel is very mediocre and not worth the money they are charging per night. I won't recommend this place to anyone as there are better places around this area for lesser price.

PPengguna TetamuOur apartment was upgraded to one on the 13th floor. We were met outside and shown to our room. We liked the duplex arrangement with an upper WC abd lower shower/WC / washing machine. The double bed was comfortable, the 2nd bedroom simply a mattress on the elevated floor, which was OK. There was an excellent coffee house (Relax) on the opposite side of the road, plus a barber and other small shops. The Subway was only 350m away with easy access to Beijing. Supermarket and restaurants/ bakery by Subway Station. We didn't use the small kitchen as we always eating out! Would definitely return again.
