This hotel is excellent value for money - we visited in late June 2023 and took advantage of the 4 nights for the price of 3 offer. The hotel is a great summer location, just a short stroll (5 mins) from the centre of town. Like other hotels in Schladming during summer, all guests are given a free ‘sommercard’ which gives you a daily free ascent/decent on the nearby cable cars and free travel on all local bus routes which is a huge money saver and one of the main reasons we chose to stay in this region. Our room (302), on the top floor, was huge and included a decent balcony with mountain views. There was a little fridge in the room which was welcome as the weather was very hot during our visit. Like most hotels in this area there is no air-conditioning; our room faced the sun and got very hot and we had to sleep with the balcony door open which meant being woken up promptly at 7am every day by the (very loud and continuous!) local church bells. The bathroom towels were rather thin and cardboard-like and the water pressure in the shower was pathetic, but that aside it was a clean, comfortable room. The hotel offers a fantastic self-service breakfast with everything you could possibly want. My only complaint is the terrible coffee which is dispensed from a machine and had a very strange taste. The one thing this hotel undersells is the option of having dinner in the restaurant. There was no mention of this when checking in, and no menu on display. The hotel website makes a big feature describing the Tafelspitz (an authentic Austrian dish, and the restaurant’s namesake) so we were keen to try it. It was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Dessert was also fantastic. Fine dining at a very reasonable price, I really think the hotel should advertise this better!

Myself and my partner last minute booked this little gem of gems in Schladming for a three day skii trip. For those looking for quality, cozy and brilliant, look no further. The hotel is beautifully finished with a modern feel mixed with traditional skii lodge. The service was abosultely excellent, the staff are very friendly and informative. Especially Pacho who serves the breakfast and evening meals. He is so friendly and attentive! Breakfast is world class with extensive choices on offer. Included in our stay was an evening one course meal and the food was amazing. The rooms are big and stylish and the beds are very very comfortable. The spa is a great way to heat up after a skii and of course the hotel has a boot/skii room to prep and decamp in. It's located just a small walk away from both main lifts. Also very close the the centre without being right in the loud hussel and bussel. One of the best stays I've had in Austria! Thank you!!

Gemütliches Hotel in der Innenstadt von Schladming. Zur Planai ca 7 Minuten Gehzeit mit Skischuhen. Top Frühstück, schöne Zimmer und freundlicher service. Aber!!! Abends wird das Licht in der Lobby abeschaltet wenn der sehr nette Kellner geht. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Auch ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken, an dem man dich dann bedienen kann, wäre wünschenswert und kennen wir aus anderen Hotels ohne Bar.

Für unseren Skiurlaub haben wir nach einem passenden Hotel in Schladming gesucht und sind bei der Stadtvilla fündig geworden. Ein kleines aber sehr feines Hotel im Zentrum von Schladming. Vor 2 Jahren liebevoll und modern renoviert und von freundlichem Personal betreut. 5 Minuten beträgt die Gehzeit zur Seilbahn (das ist auch mit den Skischuhen bewältigbar) , zu Restaurants fürs Abendessen brauchts gar nur 3 Minuten. Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend bestückt - auch für eventuelle Vegetarier, das Sky Spa ist ebenfalls modern und schön eingerichtet, durch die wenigen Zimmer ist immer ausreichend Platz in der Sauna. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht - und waren sehr zufrieden, bis auf eine Kleinigkeit - das Bad ist winzig, es kann sich grad 1 Person zum Zähneputzen drin aufhalten, allerdings ist das WC getrennt davon, was auch hilfreich ist. Wenn wir wieder nach Schladming reisen - kommen wir gerne wieder!
