"We stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable."

"Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, spacious and well-equipped apartment, which never got too hot, even when it was hitting 40degrees outside. We even had a real lemon tree growing outside our bedroom window! The hotel itself is beautiful and well-equipped, with a lovely outdoor pool and bar area. There's also a well-stocked supermarket nearby, and a lovely little restaurant at the bottom of the hill that's also well worth a visit. This was our teenage son's first holiday outside of the UK, and we timed it to fall in the week of his nineteenth birthday. He was a little apprehensive about the culture changes, but it was the best introduction to a holiday abroad he could possibly have had, and he's well up for coming back again next year, to see everything we didn't get a chance to see this time."

"Apart from the differences of opinion on this hotel in relation to everyone's criteria, do you find it normal that the waiters tell you that you must even report to reception that there is no more tea at breakfast or then you send to buy ice cube bags for your fridge. Repetitive breakfast and dinner, little variety, a toaster would not be a luxury. Our room did not have the standard of the photos shown. Dated shower 80x80 with plastic curtain, 2 power outlets available for 2 rooms, towels change every 2 days, We arrived around 10:00 p.m. and the receptionist sent us to our reservation which was not in the same complex, 200m away by getting back on the road and without even accompanying us, he didn't have time. The wifi works very poorly and the beach is good, deckchairs for a fee, the hotel paths are well flowered and the 2 swimming pools are very clean but not busy at all! If you like this kind of service, look no further! Manifest lack of professionalism of the service. The reviews posted and the photos do not necessarily correspond to what we offer you."
