A very good experience from start to finish. Spent 7 days here and all elements of the hotel exceeded expectations. Whilst it was 5 star rated, the photo's do not do the rooms justice, they were spacious, meticulously clean and the whole hotel environment was excellent. The staff were professional and helpful at all times, food good and not unreasonably priced for a hotel of this type. Location for a split beach/city break was first class as well.

We had a 6 night stay in this beautifully old and small boutique hotel right in the centre of Valencia off the cathedral square. You could not get a better location to explore the city from and then come back to relax with a drink on the private rooftop terrace overlooking the Cathedral and St Nicholas church. In the morning you awake to the lovely sound of the church bells and birds. Every member of the team we interacted with were amazingly friendly and super helpful from housekeeping to reception to F&B service. We truly loved Avril she is certainly a daily dose of sunshine and Andres was great at breakfast on the roof top terrace. Caroline on reception had some good suggestions and made navigating the city so much easier, marking things out on a map. We plan to come back and stay again next year and would have no hesitation in recommending them

The rooms are decorated beautifully and bathrooms are immaculate. The location is just perfect couldn't ask for better. Food and drink was all walkable. It was our honeymoon so we asked for a upgrade if there was a better rooms available, but we were not given one even though a member of staff confirmed they had nice rooms available that had not been booked. There was a lot of noice form the hallway and also the stress which made it hard to sleep at night. We also heard creaking and other strange noises which made us uncomfortable. There was also no locks to the bedroom doors which make us feel unsafe therefore we had to move the sofa infront of the door every single night to feel safe. Also the balcony’s was alot smaller that expected. My husband is of a average build but has a wide back and could not sit on the balcony therefore it was a waste of money for us to buy the balcony room (there we no pictures when booking) I am petite and this was just enough rooom for me to sit with little to mo movement. The AC was our biggest issue and really made our stay here uncomfortable. It was asif there was no AC at all. When we asked for the hotels staff to look into this for us we were told that it is only a 1 year old hotel and that the AC has no sound but it is always working without even going to our room and checking. It was blowing out the most minute breeze (only at times and not always) and this was not even a cold breeze despite being on the coldest temperature and the highest fan setting, taking into account the room was not even big and still could got get it cold. We did the next day ask for a fan as the AC was still not working and we were told they do not offer this and that that is the was the AC works in Valencia. It was disappointing to be out in the heat all day to come back to a warm hotel room. I would expect better from a new 1 year hotel and it was not cheap as we paid £1100 for just for 4 nights. My husband struggled to stay her for 4 nights and could not wait to get back home. We would not stay here again unless there was improvements to the AC.

I read a bunch of reviews before I stayed at Balandret. First a few basic truths: the hotel is comfy, boutique style, the breakfast is good but you will want to get there before 9am otherwise they stop replacing items. Breakfast ladies are nice and everyone I ran into at the hotel was nice. However, no matter how many reviews I read, nobody covered items that actually matter at this hotel. First, I assume you will want to go to the beach, otherwise why book a beach hotel? The hotel does not have a pool and is very close to the pier which harbors the cruise ships. To this point I booked a sea view balcony room which is NOT a balcony, it is a door that opens to an area that you cannot even stand on. The pier that I just mentioned has a restaurant/club that starts the bass at 3pm and I don't know what time it stops because I went to sleep before it ever stopped which was 2:30am at the latest for me but you can hear the bass in your room EVERY DAY and NIGHT. If you are a city explorer this is not the hotel for you, it's about a 10 minute cab/uber ride into the city. Communidad Valencia tries to force you to use cabs on your ride share app, making Uber and Lyft more expensive, preference is given to cabs, but the difference is minimal. All of the reviews mentioned the restaurants nearby and it is true, but the restaurants are there for the hotels only, it's not an authentic experience. Nobody would leave the city to come to these, it is for the beach hotels only. Back to the hotel, if you want to go to the beach, go to the front desk and ask for beach towels, they charged me 3 euro per towel which I thought was a good deal. Go on down to the beach and pay for your beds (7 euro) and umbrella (7 euro). Drinks are very appropriately priced. **Caution** The beach is topless. My final tidbit is the Communidad has a law that you cannot purchase alcohol in a store after 10pm, so now you know what I did not know. Bars stop selling at 1am. (how does that club hop past 2am???) Overall the hotel is fine, but it is not a spot for you to go city exploring, you are stuck at the beach and it is a fine beach, but is that what you want to do for a week straight?

This is a small hotel about 15 minute stroll from the centre and a 10 minute walk to the airport metro station. The room was a lot smaller than the pictures show, a tight squeeze when the sofa bed is pulled out and the pillows are lumpy but it was clean, has a good shower and the air-con is silent. The continental breakfast is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. The minibar and snacks provided on the first day are included in the room price but there was only 2 small bottles of sparkling water with 2 cans of beer and 2 soft drinks, no bottled drinking water was provided so we had to go to a shop for that. Overall it’s a nice hotel, I’m not sure of the average room prices in Valencia but for 2 adults and a 14yr old €400/night seems excessive, we assumed that by reserving a junior suite might have provided more space but that could be the standard in this beautiful Spanish city.

A lovely place to stay, in an unbeatable location. We stayed in B3B, penthouse with terrace. The terrace is idyllic, sunny with a full awning for shade, high enough to calm the vibrant street noise to a cheerful hum, even during the Fallas! The flat is sp****ly but adequately equipped for two, though a shallow pan big enough for rice dishes would be nice. Be aware the flat is up six steps from its front door, and the terrace up sixteen fairly steep steps with handrail. Staff are friendly and efficient. Two things could be improved: the flat is smart but the floors were filthy. And clearer instructions are needed on exactly where to go for initial check-in: there are four identical blocks in the square and we were phoning frantically from the wrong door until Xavier rescued us.

Excelente alojamiento, acogedor, y en zona muy tranquila. Estuvimos 6 personas y cuenta con todas las comodidades y detalles. La distribución de la vivienda La hace perfecta. Y tanto el check in como el check out se hace online, y el acceso mediante un código, lo que hace que sea mejor para todos, sin tener que estar pendientes ni de horarios estrictos ni de llaves.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Valencia. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accompanying, beautiful hotel and couldn't wish for a better location! Very central and staff go above and beyond to male your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We booked the Duluxe Double room with hot tub. The room was spacious clean and very comfortable. Slippers and Gowns included too! We didn't eat in the restaurant, as we were out and about so much but from what we could see it was very nicely decorated and the menu looked good! Highly recommend a stay with You & Co Boutique. We will be returning for sure!

We made a reservation from the booking.com site and we took the time to contact their reservation team via booking to inform then that we will be arriving around 1 to 2 a.m. I put the exchange made with the hotel in attached and we have been informed that this is not a problem and that the necessary will be done to inform the person receiving us except while arriving at the hotel on 18.09.2022 around 1 a.m. we have had the bad luck to deal with a certain Jofe, a real boor and fool who told us that the reservation is for 2 p.m. and not 1 a.m. We mentioned to him the exchange with his team who confirmed to us that we can come at this time but he did not want to hear anything and asked us to leave the hotel with an authoritarian and arrogant tone and we found ourselves on the street shocked,very angry and disappointed!!! This is their level of service that they provide so pls people do not go there!!!

CCindyTsangThe 24hr reception greeted us during the check in. Thats was quick and we felt welcomed.
Two small lifts brings us to our apartment which is 350fts square. The king-size bed and the sofabed are well prepared, so we can take my own bed. The sofa bed is just as good as the fixed bed.
The bathroom is spacious. Water is hot with strong water pressure.
The restaurant downstairs the hotel provided a welcome non-alcoholic drink and hotel buffet breakfast. Besides ham, buns and cheese. We can also have special meals from the kitchen like a dish of avocado, Salmon, scramble eggs with a toast. The dinner is also tasty with average spending at around €30-40 per person.
The apartment has washing machine. An individual space for clothes drying rack to dry out the clothes with hot air coming from outside. Everything is well designed with new refurbishment. You will just feel at home.
The kitchen stove, utensils and plates are provided. Everything is good.
Towels are clean and toilet papers are provided enough. The soaps smell good.
I am happy to come back again next time

LLimOne of my favorite hotel in Spain. The rooms was a tad small but tastefully renovated. I love the breakfast, it was an amazing spread with both local cuisine and international well represented. We were split for choices with the food. Not forgetting, they have the best coffee bar in any hotel we have visited. The barista will make any specialty coffee to your fancy, from a coffee cocktail, siphon coffee, V60 drip coffee, Italian espresso or simply a con leche. The egg station was another level of preparation with attention to plating and details. Overall, we were glad that we paid for breakfast. The view of the breakfast area gives a bird's eye view of the city as a bonus!

BBenten218The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old town, approximately a 20-minute walk from the central market. The property features newly renovated interiors with a chic design. Check-in was smooth, even at 10pm.
The room, while not large, is adequately spacious for two people and equipped with all necessary amenities. Rooms are arranged around an interior courtyard, which can trap noises like an echo chamber. However, during my stay, guests generally returned to their rooms by midnight, so noise was minimal and did not disrupt my sleep.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is so reasonably priced, and actually in a perfect location too get too all the main things too see in Valencia.
Though it is 30 minutes from the beach, they give you a towel for free, around being paid for prior and refunded after, and it is a good walk too experience the cities culture and marina on the way.
It is only 15 minutes too walk too the incredible Arts and Science Arichectural Area, and likewise too the staggering parts of the Old City.
Rooms are adequately comfortable, Bathroom was huge, and the safe free and large enough for even a notebook.Good too have a very chilled fridge, though no kettle as is most nowadays,
For those on a budget, there is a cheap supermarket across the road for all your needs, a good cheap bar and cafe right next door, large pizza chips and beer for 10 pounds perfect.
The breakfast choice is absolutely superb here, and there is a beautiful lady who runs it, shame i didnt catch her name but she was incredibly welcoming friendly and considerate, and an amazing way too help start your day.

My daughter had been hounding me for years to give the hostel life a go , obviously as a 55 yr old mum I was slightly reluctant ! Anyway my daughter and I were visiting Valencia and I left it to her to sort out the accommodation - needless to say we ended up at Purple nest As a hostel virgin I was very impressed - there were quite a few people ‘my age ‘ as well as younger too , my daughter did say it didn’t seem as ‘young’ as other hostels she’d visited ( she’s 26 ). We had a private room ( I wasn’t prepared for 12 bed dorm 😬 ) with AC , the room was small but perfect as a base for sight seeing ,in a great location , lots of nice ,clean showers on each floor - building is set over 6 floors , luckily with a lift 👵🏻😂 large communal area and kitchen with a very reasonably priced bar If I were to return I would maybe try to book the private room with terrace….. we stayed for 5 nights and slept well ( which at my age is important 😂)

AAlbertRLocation is perfect. Just outside you can find many restaurants, shops and plazas. Really easy to find the nearest metro station. From the hotel location everything is really close to reach. Room is not quite spacious but it’s nice and clean. The only thing is that you can hear everything from the rooms beside but nothing to noisy.
I included breakfast for every morning. They have coffee machines, pastries, bread and cereals, cheese and ham, juices, yogurt and different kinds of milk.
If you don’t include breakfast, there’s a bakery and many restaurants just outside the hotel so you can figure out.
The staff was nice and kind.

Hotel was clean, All staff very friendly and helpful. All wash products available in bathroom including hairdryer . Nice touches of sweets in room. Shower powerful and constant hot water. Room cleaned everyday. Pool kept well, swim caps are required. We did book for breakfast on a couple of days, which was a buffet style. Plenty of choices from cereal , croissants, scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, cold meats, cheese, different juices .Well worth the money. Hotel, Ideally situated half way from main town and beach / marina all a short walk or buses available on the doorstep . Short distance and journey by metro to Valencia Airport . Highly recommend .

MMarc GaldonFerrerThe hotel Cosy Rooms Bolseria is hidden in a one way alley in a central location in Valencia. If you don’t pay attention you may actually miss it.
The reception is very welcoming, with vintage furniture and wooden beams showcasing a traditional style of old buildings in Valencia.
Room is small but clean, with red brick wall and a simple toilet but fully equipped: clean towels, shampoo, body gel, body lotion, hair dryer, etcetera.
The highlight is definitely the jacuzzi at the rooftop. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed at first, since it was covered, however we kindly asked the staff who helped us to remove the protective cover and to turn the jacuzzi on. We enjoyed it alone overlooking the Valencia rooftops. Not the best view over the city skyline, but good enough to relax. The water in the jacuzzi was not warm, however given the summer heat it was good enough. Don’t expect any service at the rooftop though, so bring your own towels (or from the room) and drinks if you want to enjoy your time there.
