Metropolitan YMCA Singapore

Location is great, the hotel is in a very central area in Singapore. The room may be a bit smallish when compared to more expensive hotels, but it is good enough with a Smart TV, fridge, etc. The hotel pool looked very cool and inviting, but we were so busy with trips out to see friends, so much so that we never got to try out the pool. Our one major regret. Bathroom space is very well-utilised, now that the long bath is no longer there. The shower enclosure is good and spacious enough now. But one worry is that the shower floor is very slippery when wet. Perhaps some non-slip material could be affixed onto the shower floor, to prevent a possible future potential shower accident. The best feature of this beautifully-tiled bathroom is the placement of the "throne". It is located in its own corner with a good and adequate amount of space surrounding it. One of The BEST Thrones in all the hotels this guest has ever patronised in Singapore and Malaysia. There is also a great seafood restaurant in this hotel, and Very helpful Front Desk staff! On the wish list - is the hope that one day, the YMCA hotel could add a coin-operated washer and dryer for guest usage. This is because Singapore is so wet and humid, every day our clothes would be soaked in sweat, from our trips and visits outside. Other than this - Thank you for a great stay - to the Metropolitan YMCA!

Generally a positive stay. The best thing is the swimming pool. The worst thing is that the water in the shower is not very hot.
