GGANESH K PANADAMImpressive hotel but quiet.. Area around hotel dead. Not many shops open for dinner at around 7:30pm.
So had to take a taxi ¥18 to Hekou town.
Funny that construction activities still allowed at 11pm, could hear lorries and excavators in motion..
Breakfast, starts at 7am, was nice but no coffee or tea available. We could not enjoy much coz our taxi came acalling at 7:26am to take us to Hekou North train station.

PPengguna TetamuThe stay was all good but the bottled water provided within the room likely had been filled up with tap water. I became so sick when consuming it on the train. I only drank water that day. And after being so sick (vomiting and becoming super sweaty) it only became worse as I drank more of that bottled water.

PPengguna Tetamu火車站打的到酒店16元，河口衹有線下路上跑的出租車，沒有滴滴打車或高德打車可以用，出租車比較規範，酒店離河口老火車站很近，離海關也近，附近有飯店咖啡店越南特產店，離商業步行街也不遠，走着就可以到了，酒店衞生還可以，酒店比較大，很多房間，有空調，前台服務耐心負責。

PPengguna TetamuVery nice family to talk to. The location is in a great area just across the street from the riverfront. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom can stink at times from the toilet. Shower is in an awkward position where it makes it hard for me to be able to feel comfortable with showering at times. Not convienient to go up to stairs without an elevator on first day when carrying the luggage up the stairs especially when your room is near the top floor.

PPengguna TetamuThe room was big and clean. It was close to the border with soms restaurants nearby. Only the badroom was dirty and fool of mold. The water was coming out of the roof, it was definitely not from one day. We actually just saw it after our son was asleep so we didn’t say something, because we didn’t wanted to move. But probably if you say something there are better rooms. The rest of the room was clean.

YyenxuIt is around 1km from the border(~ 10yuan bi taxi) 500m from the famous Fuxin shopping mall and ~ 10mins by car to the train station (~ 10- 12 yuan).
Very basic room with dim light (1 light bulb in the room), a bit high price compared to what's provided. Dont trust the floor number on Trip. The boss said that it is flexible, first come first serve. My booking stated that the room would be on 2nd floor but it's the highest 6th floor with no elevator. Though the owner helped me with my luggage on arrival but i had to managed to do on my own at depature as I leave early for the train.
There might be mouse in the room :(
The boss is friendly and helpful though he doesnt speak English. He'll not be at the reception all the time you have to call him. Prepare the data sim to call him via Trip number. It's ok for 1 night before the train but no for longer stay.

PPengguna Tetamu酒店就在濱河路，河對面就是越南，性價比很高，房間乾淨衞生，住了一晚睡的很好，不吵不鬧，下次來還住這裏，酒店離步行街也近，裏面吃得很多，晚上可以去逛逛，沿着河邊走走，不遠就可以到口岸那裡

Hotel yang sangat menjimatkan. Berhampiran dengan Bandar Vietnam dan Stesen Kereta Api Kelajuan Tinggi Hekou Utara. Bilik lif enam tingkat dengan pemandangan gunung. Sunyi, tanpa hiruk-pikuk pusat sempadan. Bilik itu baru dan bersih. Kemudahannya agak lengkap. Sehari lebih awal, anda boleh mengambil buah-buahan Vietnam yang segar dan baru di platform membeli-belah makanan dan di hotel. Pemiliknya sangat bersemangat dan fleksibel dalam menjalankan perniagaan. Memberi penggunaan kenderaan elektrik secara percuma kepada penyewa. Anda boleh menunggang basikal elektrik dan perlahan-lahan dan santai meneroka bandar sempadan kecil ini. Pengalaman perjalanan yang bagus!

LLay TannyGood location of Hekou town area where platform’s hostels are mostly located here. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 20+outlets are within 1-5mins walk. Hotel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, drinking water dispenser and cable tv for movie choices, perfect for good rest in this Hekou Boarder Town. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend! P/s: this hotel is the 3rd move in for me within 18 hours with help from trip.com, personally thinks this hotel is great for global backpackers and totally value for money and I’ve extended a night stay to 3 nights to recuperate from traumatised experience of previous lodgings.
