"We really enjoyed our stay at Huni Lio. All the staff are accommodating, ready to assist and help with all your needs. Friendly staff with superb service. Great amenities, clean pool and beach front to watch the sunset . We love the breakfast with different menu each day, highly recommend their happy hour drinks and pizza . If you want to have a quiet accommodation, this is the place to be, you do not need to go to town as they have a great village with great restaurants, cafes and stores nearby. El Nido town is around 15mins via tricycle which cost 300pesos each day. I highly recommended this place and if ever I go back to El Nido, I will stay here again!"

My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support.
The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island.
The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

Tio CeriaThe view. The accommodations. The service. The welcome Capiz shell necklace, cold towel and welcome drink. The Dyson hair dryer and Japanese remote control toilet with heated seat. Plush terry robes and towels, beach towels provided, lounge chairs and security by the gate made us feel safe and protected. The welcome on the monitor as we entered our villa. The bed was so comfy and we had a fridge filled with complimentary cold drinks, and an espresso maker as well as coffee pot. They thought of everything. Down to the umbrella at the patio, foot rinse on the steps to our villa. Wow. I cannot say enough good things. The only thing we wished we would have witnessed was the turtles hatching. Sadly we missed the launch to the beach. Next time for sure. We will surely return again and again. Truly an exceptional stay.

Pengguna TetamuI have picked resort for its location and for experience to stay at the beach hut. And it was truly amazing time chilling on your veranda’s comfy chair surrounded by palm trees and the sound of crashing waves.
As for the overall experience, the resort is definitely not a 5* star resort. Amenities are pretty basic, over-washed beach towels, cheap cutlery, unexciting breakfast, the core infrastructure a bit rundown down, food is average and overpriced. Staff is friendly and ready to attend to every need of yours, but are the some time not there when you need them.
Had stayed at lagoon hut #14 and had a constant traffic of passing stuff or guests. So not so much privacy as you would think.
Caution. Only lagoon huts facing the beach (first row) get to use the beach sun loungers. The rest of the guests need ti use swimming pool lounges.

We had an amazing stay at Lihim Resort and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The accommodation was excellent – very comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food at the restaurant was outstanding every time, fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
A special mention goes to Nicky, who was always incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. The butlers were also amazing – professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
Overall, Lihim Resort exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the atmosphere. We would gladly come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Marc in ShanghaiLocated just north of the main town and boat departure beach. Complimentary 24-hour tuktuk service, but walking only takes 15 minutes or so. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was nice and A/C worked well. Bed and pillows were a little firm, but reasonably comfortable. Included breakfast is good.
Resort is divided into 3 parts. Cadlao 1, 2, and 3. 1 is at the entrance, 2 is next, and 3 is the farthest away (but still only a few minutes walk). 3 is also the most secluded, which might make it a little quieter.
J Benito tour agency is directly across from the entrance, if you want to schedule tours.

We stayed only one night, but have been warmly welcomed. Nice and clean hotel, although it was terrible weather (storm) there was no issue (flooding or leakage), the room was comfortable, with good size and arrangement.
Breakfast can be taken with a very nice view on the beach (careful, it’s not the best beach of the area).
Team welcomed us warmly, there are restaurants (TAAS worth it) all around which makes a good location overall (trip in tricycle to the town is always funny).

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free.
Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site.
Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

The property is small and although not right in the beach it is only. ashore walk through the garden and past a few bungalows to the beach. Not sealt a swimable beach, a bit muddy during low tide.
The staff were friendly enough but the toilet continues to have problems with flushing so I assume that either the sceptic tank has not been cleaned out for a long time or there is a plumbing problem, either way we solved the problem by putting sufficient water in the plast
ic trash can and would use this to flush through after a big message, all in all not nice when staying two nights, and seeing that management did not do anything about this ( as reported in an earlier review). The bar busy the beach is uninspir8ng, no wonder all guests go nextdoor for happy hour drinks! Suggest to take the pool away and put a nice bar area so guest can enjoy sunset with a great bartender and incredible service then you could be way ahead. The owner manager should sit there every day and talk to guests to find out why guests don’t sit there and fix the problem, not rocket science.
Breakfast service team and garden pool bar team zaling a good job.
