St Helena Bay Hotel

GM lady is totally unprofessional and unpleasant. Hotel is old and our bedroom lights did not work when we arrived.

I have stayed at the St Helena Bay Hotel twice now, for business and cannot complain. Very nice facilities, everything you need, as well as a view. Thanks you!

Worst hotel and customer service. We recently stayed in room 14 at the St Helena Bay hotel. Firstly, false advertising they advertise a swimming pool and only as you get there they tell you it is not working. Well we specifically booked at the St Helena Bay hotel because of their pool facilities. When you want to speak to a manger... Well they are all unavailable. The reception ladies will tell you to email the manager Lorette Diedericks and she will be of no assistance. We spoke to her about not receiving what we paid for, I e. we booked a hotel that offers a gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the ocean. She will tell you that the pool will still take months to be fixed and offer you a free night's stay once and only if it is fixed. Okay thank you for the gesture, but will you be paying for our petrol and time to get out there again? St Helena Bay hotel if you are at fault and not offering your clients what you advertise and what they paid for, should you not at least be giving them some form of compensation back? Oh yes, the manager Lorette Diedericks will also lie to you about all the swimming pool pictures being taken off all of their booking sites. Well only once we sent her the photos and link of the swimming pool being advertised did she bother to take the photos off. Oh would you like working plugs in your room? Well according to St Helena Bay hotel that will be too much to ask for. The reception lady will send you to your room knowing that your plugs are broken and not even giving you any kind of warning that they are broken. You will then have to run up and down as well as wait for the electrician to finish his lunch (may I add for almost four hours) before your plugs even get looked at or fixed. You will then get told it is loadsheddings fault which is a reasonable excuse but loadshedding was only two and a half hours, but before we even arrived they knew about the problem and after loadshedding they will still make you wait for simple utilities to be fixed. If you would like any sort of hotel or holiday experience I highly suggest you do not book at St Helena Bay hotel. They do not even deserve one star.

Hotel a bit dated and pool not in working order, having said that the rooms very clean, views excellent and all round good experience. staff on hand and helpful very engaging with customers, made us feel very welcome.

We stayed at St Helena's Bay Hotel for 5 nights over December. I will definitely go back there again. Since we walked in there from the reception, waiters, cleaners we felt at home. The rooms is clean, bed's are comfortable, Food is Great. Service is excellent and everybody is very friendly and helpful. Keep up the Good Service.

We were most surprise of the hotel and our stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed on Room 1 and this was spacious, clean and tidy. The rest of the hotel and staff were professional and friendly and always wanting to assist where possible

Definitely a place to go back to, very affordable and safe place for the kids. Amazing meals and not to mention the harbor area fresh fish. They accommodated for halal meals and protocols. Tia who works at the hotel was awesome with the bookings. 5 star rating from my side and i have referred friends and family to try the place out.

For the price and the hospitality everything was perfect. The reception and the staff exceeded expectations. I loved my stay there. The restaurant staff was very kind and was very clear on the kitchen in terms of Halaal expectations.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel. It was a lovely weekend spent with friends. We appreciated the security official who regularly checked in at our unit to make sure we were allright and that there were no problems. Beds and bedding were clean and warm.
