Wonderful facilities, kitchen was well equipped for cooking, bathrooms are fast with hot water, rooms are comfortable..And the common space? poetry Staff are super friendly and helpful Near a bus station and train station, easy to get there! a lot of previous memories were made, wished i stayed longer..!

This is the first time I've stayed in a hostel with an onsen! The onsen while small, does the job, and the outdoor onsen was really peaceful at night. I booked a queen bed for 2 people and it was spacious enough for me to hold all my belongings. Hostel staff were really friendly as well. One thing to note though is if you're planning to stay here, getting here from Hatsune-Yumato station requires a very steep climb up the road and a trek through the forest, so do NOT attempt to walk here yourself! Take the K-line bus instead, which drops you 100m away from the hostel.

Cozy guesthouse in Hakone, ideal for couples or to travel alone. Comfy matress and bedding and facilities are very clean too. Friendly owners and staff. Highly recommended, would visit again :-)

Боюсь, мне не хватит слов, чтобы описать, насколько прекрасно это место. В нашей поездке были Токио, Киото и Хаконэ, и этот рёкан оказался самым дорогим по цене за ночь среди всех остановок. Но он окупился на все 100%. Место идеально подходит для отдыха в живописном Хаконэ и полностью соответствует уровню города. Мы жили в номере с отдельным онсэном, которым пользовались в любое удобное время — после долгих прогулок он мгновенно восстанавливал силы. Вид из окна на водопад с шумящей водой был потрясающим — мы любовались им, кажется, половину всего пребывания, а засыпать под шум воды было невероятно приятно. Единственное сожаление — что мы остановились всего на одну ночь. В следующий раз обязательно исправим это. Мы брали проживание с завтраком и ужином — можете не переживать, разнообразие блюд огромное, голодными точно не останетесь. Еда традиционная и очень вкусная, думаю, только гастрономический опыт уже окупил стоимость проживания — такого качества за эти деньги в России не найти. На первом этаже есть бар с безлимитными напитками, а также выдаются юкаты, так что можно заселяться налегке. Персонал отеля замечательный, помогал во всех вопросах. Во время нашего пребывания случилось небольшое землетрясение — мы обратились на ресепшн, где нам всё детально объяснили и успокоили. Так что даже в непредвиденной ситуации вы будете в надёжных руках. Не могу сравнить это место с другими вариантами в Хаконэ, но мне это и не нужно — в следующую поездку я точно выберу этот же отель и номер, потому что лучшего места представить не могу. I'm afraid I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. Our trip included Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hakone, and this ryokan was the most expensive per night among all our stays — but it was worth every penny. It's perfect for enjoying picturesque Hakone and fully lives up to the town's reputation. We stayed in a room with a private onsen, which we used whenever we wanted — after long walks, it instantly restored our energy. The view from our window, overlooking a rushing waterfall, was breathtaking; we probably spent half our stay just admiring it, and falling asleep to the sound of water was incredibly pleasant. My only regret is that we stayed just one night — next time, I'll fix that. We chose the plan with breakfast and dinner included — don't worry, the variety of dishes is amazing and you won't leave hungry. The food is traditional and delicious; honestly, the culinary experience alone was worth the price, since you can't get this quality for the money back home. There's also a bar with unlimited drinks on the first floor, plus yukatas provided, so you can check in with minimal luggage. The staff were wonderful, always helpful. During our stay, there was a small earthquake, and since it was new to us, we went to the front desk, where everything was explained clearly and calmly. So even in unexpected situations, you're in safe hands. I can't compare this place to other options in Hakone, but I don't need to — next time I'll definitely choose this same hotel and room, because I simply can't imagine a better place to stay.

This is one of the best experience I have ever had! A very friendly owner + impeccable service. They offer pick-up drop-off services at togendai and oishishita, and when I asked whether they can drop off the luggage at Gora they said yes!!! Saved me so so much time!! Great room, not the most luxurious but definitely comfy. Be aware there is no private showers though. But needless to say, when theres an onsen why would you need a private shower! The onsen is great in a sense that since it's a small hotel, there was rarely anybody. It's almost like a private onsen. The water temperature of the inner one is just right, but the outdoor one, when it's snowing is quite cold. Also, the outdoor onsen had some debris as well. So the quality of the onsen isnt top notch but for the price, it's already way above my expectations. (Also you can see mount fuji as you are enjoying the onsen!) Only downside is the location. When they offer very good pick-up and drop off services, the luggage system from the railway doesn't include this hotel. This forced me to start the trip at togendai (you could ask then to simply pick up your luggage). Not a big problem if I have known this beforehand, but I had to change plans and get on the pirate ship first, so be aware!! Overall. 10/10 experience. Good price, good room, excellent service. Would come again definitely!!

*The guest villa was nice, clean, and comfortable.* We had a small issue at check-in though. The check-in email only came in at 4:30 PM, but we arrived at 3:00 PM. Plus our room was changed from 201 to 101, so the code we got didn’t work. Luckily the staff was there when we arrived and helped us check into the new room quickly. *Facilities:* Washing machine is paid - 6kg for 400 Yen. Dryer is 100 Yen for 30 mins but clothes don’t get fully dry, so we still had to hang them out. The drying area is small but clean enough. Bathroom was clean too and overall facilities are good. I love the shower, Handheld shower head *Location:* Great spot, close to the station and a 7-Eleven convenience store. So sorry, I forgot take photos. Beds are comfortable, tpp

Good for budget travelers! Highly recommended if you’re not picky and sensitive. It’s a budget hotel, you get what you pay for. The front desk is so nice, and it’s easy to check in even when you get there late at night. I arrived past 7pm and it’s still fine. Mins of walk uphill from the bus stop. Read the bus stop sign to make sure where the bus is headed, there are two stops each side of the road. I didn’t see, ram/rum the doggie 😭. During check out you don’t have to do anything, just put the use linen in the bag before leaving.

A nice cozy home right near the main train station. Easy access to transportation and right in the heart of the town. The house had many beds to choose from and good separation of rooms. A stocked kitchen and laundry machine was a bonus. The only slight bother was that the space in front of the toilet was very narrow and it was slightly uncomfortable to be on the toilet. Also there are cockroaches that come in at night, but this is fairly normal in Japan. The walk up to the house consists of many stairs and is not suitable for persons with handicaps/mobility issues.

Nestled in a peaceful corner of Mt. Hakone, yet conveniently connected by bus, only a 5-10 mins walk. This charming little hotel offered an unforgettable immersion into Japanese culture, complete with tatami-matted floor, soft futon bedding and soothing onsen. With it's effortless check in and out, it's perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and authenticity without sacrificing to much convenience. Pros: If you plan to visit the Hakone pirate ship and the Hakone ropeway at Togendai, it will give you an early start because it's only 11 minutes by bus. Con: To get to the hotel you will need to go up a little hill, not too hard, but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a bit of a challenge (But it's an easy walk back to the bus stop) Be mindful of the bus time getting to the hotel as the bus tends to end around 5:00 p.m. Also, there aren't any places to eat near the hotel, so you may need to take food with you, order breakfast with the hotel or buy some snacks and instant noodles from the hotel shop.

Nos encantó este hotel, es mucho más mono en la realidad que en las fotos. Todo muy limpio y cuidado. Tienen baños de uso privado, dos interiores y dos exteriores. Muy limpios y con todo lo necesario (gel, champú, acondicionador, secador de pelo, etc.). No tuvimos ningún problema para usarlos ya que siempre había uno libre. Se escuchaba un poco el ruido de las otras habitaciones pero los huéspedes son respetuosos. El personal muy servicial también. Puedes coger prestado zapatillas, yukatas (estos también para ir al baño exterior), paraguas, y tomar agua fría o caliente y té. La habitación tenía mesa, un balconcito con nevera, otra mesa junto a la ventana y lavabo. No pasamos nada de frío ya que había muchísimas mantas y una bomba de aire. También televisor y deshumificador, aunque no los usamos. Algunos comentarios dicen que la ubicación no es muy buena o que no hay restaurantes alrededor. Para nosotros la ubicación era correcta ya que está bien conectado a 2 minutos de las paradas de buses y tren. Había un restaurante justo enfrente pequeñito pero muy rico y bien de precio que abre hasta las 10 pm. Teniendo en cuenta que era de las opciones más baratas en Hakone para las fechas y con la posibilidad de disfrutar de onsen de forma privada, nos pareció que estaba muy muy bien.
