I couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.

Expensive for hostel rate. Clicknoord is located at very convenient location. Only a few minutes walk to the jetty to catch a ferry to Amsterdam central station. Very suitable for young people who want to have interaction with others. For middle age person like me, the place is a bit too noisy. First night was the worst as the youths were slaming their doors even till 11pm. Thankfully, someone came out to confront them. The volume was much better on the 2nd night. Generally, the whole place was good with basic facilities. And the staff are very friendly too. Beside the noises and price, I would recommend the place.

Easy to get to by bus 397 from airport. Get off at Concertgebouw and walk around the building to get to hotel. Very well located, with lots of tourist spots within walking distance. Supermarket is across the main road which is open from 8am-10pm. Very friendly welcome from staff and help given when requested eg finding a sports bar for the football!! WiFi worked and were given a remote with our room keycards for the tv. Room was clean, shower worked well and handwash/shower gel attached to wall. Fresh towels and bin emptied every day. It was very hot but we just opened the window, when in the room. Room is very small with bunk bed, table and private shower room but we only used it to sleep so it did us fine. 6 sockets and handy usb sockets beside both bunk beds. Really thin walls and some disrespectful guests who made a racket til the early hours. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

Stayed here in a twin room that had bunkbeds. Room was tiny but really only slept in it so it was perfect, bed very comfy and clean and fresh linen. Bathroom was a nice surprise, shower better than my one at home. Very steep stairs bit everywhere in Amsterdam is like that. Centrally located and easy to find. Very plain and simple but excellent for the price

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The stairs were very steep but it wasn't really an issue for us, our room was small but it was all we needed as we were out for most days. The hotel location is perfect, it is close to the square and the balcony view is amazing. Staff were very friendly, room was clean and we will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful staff ❤️ we stayed for 2 nights, yes it’s old and has lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues (like we did) it’s not for you. We booked this not realising how steep or unpractical it is, again my fault for not checking but my god the man at the desk (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) went ABOVE AND BEYOND! To accommodate us! He took all the stress away and made us feel like family and made us comfortable. We stayed in a twin with shared bathroom it was hot (26c) with a fan & window but it didn’t do much but it was okay, dated but can’t complain as we didn’t pay a lot. We slept well, no noise at the back, the shared bathrooms are ok. The hotel is in a good location, good selection of food and bars around! I would absolutely stay here again! We didn’t have breakfast but every day we were welcomed and helped whenever needed, our mobility walker was allowed to be left in luggage area whenever we needed it! What a lovely hotel & staff. If you like the history of the buildings and the architecture then wow this is a stunner the floors/stairs & decor is just what I love but I know it is dated but I thought it was perfect and fit for character. Mother in law stayed in a comfort double and it was so nice and fresh, view wasn’t the best but again, we didn’t pay a lot so we were happy with it, again we needed a lower room so we’re so happy for the help and appreciated anything we got! We arrived early (about 11.30am) to leave our bags but we were kindly offered a room that was available straight away which was very kind. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice clean linen and comfy beds with a nice view of the Main Street. Air con/heating worked well. No street noise at night that I noticed although we were on the 4th floor. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Lovely free coffee in reception area. Great budget hotel in an excellent location. Will definitely stay here again

NO ELEVATOR, STEEP STAIRS! The people at reception were nice. I left my iPad by accident after checking out, called to see if housekeeping found it and someone from reception brought it down to me so I wouldn’t have to go up the stairs again, which I appreciated a lot. Room was tiny - enough room to walk in & leave a suitcase, then the bed took up the majority of the room, which I personally liked. Bathroom is odd - toilet at one end, sink in middle, and shower on other end without a curtain or anything, it’s just the shower head with a drain on the floor. Wouldn’t go to this hotel again for the stairs alone, otherwise (if you don’t mind steep stairs) it is a nice place to stay and in a good location.

I had an amazing stay at this cool and unique pod hotel in Amsterdam. The pods were surprisingly spacious, and the top bunk provided a comfortable bed with fun lights to enhance the ambiance. Despite the shared bathrooms and toilets, they were always clean and well-maintained. Also there is a cat there very cute, forget his name though. They give you these bracelets that let you do everything in the hubs as well you can leave your luggage after check-out and even shower afterwards if your flight is later. The hosts were incredibly informative about Amsterdam, and the personalized app guide made exploring the city a breeze. I'll never forget the delicious restaurant recommendation they provided - that meal was unforgettable! Breakfast, conveniently located across the street, was a thoughtful touch. The hotel's facilities, including games and fridge and microwave amenities kinda serve yourself, made it feel like a cozy living room where we enjoyed drinks and games each night in the communal space. Despite a small issue with our pod, the staff promptly resolved it and even offered us wine, which was a lovely gesture. With the popular food hall right next door and easy bike rentals available, the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed the convenience of having delicious food options nearby and exploring the city on the provided bikes. Overall, this was the best experience I've had in Amsterdam, and I would gladly return in a heartbeat. If you're planning a trip to Amsterdam, I highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience.

The staff were so pleasant, friendly and obliging when I asked if she could take a photograph of us. The hotel was an ideal place for us for the football. Room was perfect for our 1 nite stay and bed was so comfy. So close to all amenities, train,metro and food. Will definately be using this hotel again. ⚽️
