Breakfast: Amazing! Plenty of variety, and you can order freshly cooked Yunnan Specialty rice noodles from the kitchen staff. The coffee was really good as well! (If you're an Aussie from QLD, the coffee here tastes like Cafe63's coffee lol) Hotel room: Immaculate! We booked the luxury 2-bed room. Looked exactly like the photos and has smart room technology. The only downside is that the smart TV does not allow for screen mirroring. But it had Bluetooth connection for the room and TV - I set up my phone to play music when my morning alarm goes off so it was pretty nice to have the music played through the room speakers. Oh and this is the first hotel I stayed at that plays soothing music while I shower - 10/10 experience! Service and staff: Very attentive and helpful! Front desk staff were very supportive - whatever we asked, they provided. They can also be contacted via Wechat, just scan the QR code at the front desk. The little robot who sends up your food deliveries, extra room card or additional water bottles, etc, was also cute. I especially appreciated the Aunty who cleaned our room every day - she was super polite and sweet. Hotel amenities: The laundry room is fully equipped and you can actually arrange for one of the service aunties to wash, dry and fold your clothes for you - just fill out the service card and leave with your basket. They will then deliver your clean and folded clothes to your room at no extra charge. The fitness room is good and clean, but is mainly for cardiovascular exercises. There are no dumbells available. Location: Perfect! Literally a 20 minute car ride from the Haigen Dam tourist areas (including the Yunnan Ethnicity Village) and 30 minutes from Xishan Scenic area. The subway was also super close - just a 10 minute walk. Note, I noticed the taxis in Kunming are about the same price or cheaper than Didi. There are also many nice restaurants around that are good value for money.

GREAT hotel. Arrive past 11pm from the train station and had to catch a 7.30am flight the next morning. Someone told me about this airport hotel. It is the ONLY ONE that is located in the airport, on the 2nd floor. You can just take the elevator to the 3rd floor to check-in for your flight. Great for our purpose. The rooms are located in the backend offices of the airport so it looks dodgy initially but then the corridor with rooms has carpeting and the each room was very new with everything we needed for a good shower and some shut-eye before our flight: very comfortable bed, clean sheets, air-conditioning, shower with amenities, bedroom slippers, plenty of water including some in the fridge, kettle , clean towels. Seems like it is new coz everything looked new and clean. No other facilities. And of course, just walk to the airport itself for food options. The service was very good, They brought use to our rooms. Also provided us with a small bag of fruits and flower cake. So glad we stayed here. 

This hotel room was incredible. It was super large and had a desk and a separate seating nook with a mini desk. The shower and toilet were separate and I was on quite a high floor so the view was nice. The laundry room was also very good, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Just needed a place to crash for a few hours before my early flight. I didn't have a net as my phone didn't support esim so I took a risk. Landed late at Kunming airport, a young Chinese lady helped me to phone the hotel to arrange airport pick up. The hotel understood the assignment, and my photo was sent to the hotel and ws forwarded to the driver. I was picked up from the suggested spot and got dropped at the hotel. Everything went so smoothly I still can't believe it. The hotel has a huge chinnes signage, which i assumed was the hotel name. Very tiny name in English, so be aware that if you can't read chineese, you may miss it. So, check-in was quite stressful as the receptionist took a longer time inquiring about my travel itinerary than the immigration officer at the airport. She asked me several times when I first entered china flipping through my passport for my past chineese entry visa. Ultimately, she had to call her male colleague from the office. After a long conversation between them, by then, I was about to collapse with exhaustion, and my patience was about to run out, I was handed the room key..phew. The receptionist was polite throughout. She also arranged an airport shuttle for the morning. The room was spacious and clean, linen was crisp, and ac was strong. There were complementary tea bags and two bottles of water. Lovely toiletries. Check out was smooth, airport shuttle was ready, reception even made take away breakfast which wasn't expected. I would definitely stay, and you all should not hesitate to book this hotel if you need a hotel near the airport.By the airport shuttle is complimentary too.

Saya membuat tempahan *****tara dalam talian pagi semalam sebelum bertolak dari hotel di lapangan terbang. Sebab utama adalah ia berhampiran dengan jalan lama dan mudah untuk membeli-belah. Apabila kami mendaftar masuk, wanita di meja depan memberitahu kami bahawa katil di dalam bilik yang kami tempah adalah kecil dan terdapat bar di bawah tingkap, yang akan menjadi bising pada waktu malam. Terdapat bilik lain yang boleh kami semak untuk perbandingan. Kemudian kami cukup bernasib baik untuk mendapatkan yang kami ada sekarang. Pertama sekali, katil sangat selesa, tidak lembut dan tidak keras saya balik lewat dari membeli-belah pada waktu malam, mandi dan tertidur kereta api untuk sarapan pagi. Disebabkan saya turun lambat, tak ada mee di kedai makan, hanya mee, dan yang dibuat oleh makcik pun sedap. Suka! Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di jalan lama, dan terdapat begitu banyak makanan lazat di mana-mana. Di sini juga agak sunyi, tidak bising langsung pada waktu malam. Sudah lama saya tidak tidur lena. Juga, kek bunga yang disediakan adalah lazat, dan minum petang juga sangat baik! ! ! Komen kecil: botol gel mandian tidak mudah ditekan, ia tidak akan melantun apabila ditekan, dan pengalamannya sedikit berbeza. Semua yang lain cukup bagus, sangat disyorkan! ! ! PS: Air di kepala pancuran mandian sangat besar! ! !

The hotel is just 5mins walk to Kunming Old Street which make it accessible for shopping and dining. But the room is quite outdated and the faucet took quite a while to get warm or cold throughout.

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Li and Xiao Zang, two incredibly sweet and helpful young women who accommodated me during my extremely late arrival (around 3-4am due to a delayed flight) and patiently answered all my questions no matter what time it was. They ensured I made it to and from the hotel safely. HOTEL REVIEW: The location is extremely convenient, right at the doorstep of the Ethnic Village. The room itself was gorgeous, a bit like stepping back in time. It was pristine and offered all the necessary toiletries. There was no coffee, but there was tea, and a coffee shop is conveniently located right next door. The only downside to my stay was that I went when they were doing construction and it went on until after 11pm. However, 1) this was mentioned when I booked the hotel, so I have only myself to blame. 2) I was offered a different, quieter room and the workers were asked repeatedly to move to another location or please try to be quieter. The staff did everything they could to accommodate me from booking to checkout. Should I return to the area, I would definitely consider this hotel, and I recommend adding it to your short-list of options while staying in Kunming.

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and conveniently close to everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to check in early as soon as my room was ready, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Although the building itself looks a bit old from the outside, the rooms are renovated and feel modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the noodle dishes, which were definitely a highlight for me. Another thing I appreciated was how easy and worry-free it was to receive my Taobao deliveries. The hotel helped store my packages safely until I collected them, which made online shopping very convenient during my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

not too far to the airport. free airport pick up and transportation. very new and clean. surrounding looks nice too. simple breakfast included. love the environment and design.
