Breakfast: Amazing! Plenty of variety, and you can order freshly cooked Yunnan Specialty rice noodles from the kitchen staff. The coffee was really good as well! (If you're an Aussie from QLD, the coffee here tastes like Cafe63's coffee lol) Hotel room: Immaculate! We booked the luxury 2-bed room. Looked exactly like the photos and has smart room technology. The only downside is that the smart TV does not allow for screen mirroring. But it had Bluetooth connection for the room and TV - I set up my phone to play music when my morning alarm goes off so it was pretty nice to have the music played through the room speakers. Oh and this is the first hotel I stayed at that plays soothing music while I shower - 10/10 experience! Service and staff: Very attentive and helpful! Front desk staff were very supportive - whatever we asked, they provided. They can also be contacted via Wechat, just scan the QR code at the front desk. The little robot who sends up your food deliveries, extra room card or additional water bottles, etc, was also cute. I especially appreciated the Aunty who cleaned our room every day - she was super polite and sweet. Hotel amenities: The laundry room is fully equipped and you can actually arrange for one of the service aunties to wash, dry and fold your clothes for you - just fill out the service card and leave with your basket. They will then deliver your clean and folded clothes to your room at no extra charge. The fitness room is good and clean, but is mainly for cardiovascular exercises. There are no dumbells available. Location: Perfect! Literally a 20 minute car ride from the Haigen Dam tourist areas (including the Yunnan Ethnicity Village) and 30 minutes from Xishan Scenic area. The subway was also super close - just a 10 minute walk. Note, I noticed the taxis in Kunming are about the same price or cheaper than Didi. There are also many nice restaurants around that are good value for money.

Staying at Ji Hotel Kunming Airport was an excellent decision. Instead of spending the night waiting uncomfortably in the airport during an overnight transit, we were able to get proper rest. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a deep and restful sleep. The room size is adequate, especially considering the hotel is located within the airport. The location is extremely convenient—simply take the elevator to the second floor after exiting the arrival hall. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary snacks and fresh fruit served with a tea set, which made the stay feel especially welcoming. Although the staff do not speak English, they are very kind, polite, and helpful, which greatly enhanced the overall experience.

This hotel room was incredible. It was super large and had a desk and a separate seating nook with a mini desk. The shower and toilet were separate and I was on quite a high floor so the view was nice. The laundry room was also very good, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

My stay at Fanye was so good that I extend for 2 more nights. I highly appreciate airport pickup service and transferring back to hotel from Changshui airport . Breakfast is awesome. But there is one shortcome that breakfast voucher is issued to only one occupant and not two.

Ia juga hanya beberapa minit dari Wine Glass House, bekas kediaman Nie Er dan Kedai Buku Oriental. The hotel is just 5mins walk to Kunming Old Street which make it accessible for shopping and dining. But the room is quite outdated and the faucet took quite a while to get warm or cold throughout.

The hotel owner is very responsible to service their guests, and the view of the room is excellent, room very clean, bed is very comfortable, the hotel is nearby of the Yunnan Ethnic Village and Dianchi (the biggest lake in Yunnan).

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and conveniently close to everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to check in early as soon as my room was ready, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Although the building itself looks a bit old from the outside, the rooms are renovated and feel modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the noodle dishes, which were definitely a highlight for me. Another thing I appreciated was how easy and worry-free it was to receive my Taobao deliveries. The hotel helped store my packages safely until I collected them, which made online shopping very convenient during my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

The room is very clean and spacious. They have buggies that could send us and our luggage to the rooms. The hotel is close to Airport Front Station about 10 minutes walk. Very convenient for us.
