We had a wonderful stay here. My favorite feature was the bay window. It was such a cozy place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and they responded to our requests quickly. The room was clean, modern, and well maintained. It had a smart toilet, a powerful hair dryer, a round table, and a small tatami table, which made it convenient for us to enjoy takeaway meals in the room. The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around. Most of the attractions we visited were within easy reach ,abt 30min to every attractions. Ordering food delivery was also very easy, and if you prefer takeaway, there are plenty of restaurants and bubble tea shops downstairs in the shopping mall. Breakfast included Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles and Steam Pot Chicken. The noodles were just so-so for my taste, but the chicken was really good. The broth was flavorful with a nice peppery taste. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again when we visit Kunming.

Breakfast: Amazing! Plenty of variety, and you can order freshly cooked Yunnan Specialty rice noodles from the kitchen staff. The coffee was really good as well! (If you're an Aussie from QLD, the coffee here tastes like Cafe63's coffee lol) Hotel room: Immaculate! We booked the luxury 2-bed room. Looked exactly like the photos and has smart room technology. The only downside is that the smart TV does not allow for screen mirroring. But it had Bluetooth connection for the room and TV - I set up my phone to play music when my morning alarm goes off so it was pretty nice to have the music played through the room speakers. Oh and this is the first hotel I stayed at that plays soothing music while I shower - 10/10 experience! Service and staff: Very attentive and helpful! Front desk staff were very supportive - whatever we asked, they provided. They can also be contacted via Wechat, just scan the QR code at the front desk. The little robot who sends up your food deliveries, extra room card or additional water bottles, etc, was also cute. I especially appreciated the Aunty who cleaned our room every day - she was super polite and sweet. Hotel amenities: The laundry room is fully equipped and you can actually arrange for one of the service aunties to wash, dry and fold your clothes for you - just fill out the service card and leave with your basket. They will then deliver your clean and folded clothes to your room at no extra charge. The fitness room is good and clean, but is mainly for cardiovascular exercises. There are no dumbells available. Location: Perfect! Literally a 20 minute car ride from the Haigen Dam tourist areas (including the Yunnan Ethnicity Village) and 30 minutes from Xishan Scenic area. The subway was also super close - just a 10 minute walk. Note, I noticed the taxis in Kunming are about the same price or cheaper than Didi. There are also many nice restaurants around that are good value for money.

-Extremely conveniently located -The room numbers beginning with 6 are located close to the arrival gate 5, whilst the one with 8 are located close to gate 8 (if I recall correctly) -The rooms are windowless -The shower didn’t drain well, causing water to accumulate -In my experience if you press the master switch button off, the toilet wouldn’t flush -I never managed to connect to the TV- only could hear radio stations after a long lag time -However, overall great. Lots of 24 hour restaurants in the terminal

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Kunming. The hotel is absolutely magnificent, with beautiful and incredibly well-equipped rooms that make you feel comfortable and relaxed from the very first moment. Every detail was carefully thought out, and the facilities exceeded my expectations. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was extremely kind, professional, and always ready to help. They gave me many useful tips and recommendations about the city, restaurants, and places to visit, which made my trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming, and I will definitely come back again in the future!

Room was large, comfortable and well maintained, though this is an older hotel. One issue was the strong cigarette smell that remained through my stay. Location is not near city center, but a Walmart & many eateries are across the street. I know this is a busy holiday week, but staff should be more welcoming.

The location is simply ideal. Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

Saya membuat tempahan *****tara dalam talian pagi semalam sebelum bertolak dari hotel di lapangan terbang. Sebab utama adalah ia berhampiran dengan jalan lama dan mudah untuk membeli-belah. Apabila kami mendaftar masuk, wanita di meja depan memberitahu kami bahawa katil di dalam bilik yang kami tempah adalah kecil dan terdapat bar di bawah tingkap, yang akan menjadi bising pada waktu malam. Terdapat bilik lain yang boleh kami semak untuk perbandingan. Kemudian kami cukup bernasib baik untuk mendapatkan yang kami ada sekarang. Pertama sekali, katil sangat selesa, tidak lembut dan tidak keras saya balik lewat dari membeli-belah pada waktu malam, mandi dan tertidur kereta api untuk sarapan pagi. Disebabkan saya turun lambat, tak ada mee di kedai makan, hanya mee, dan yang dibuat oleh makcik pun sedap. Suka! Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di jalan lama, dan terdapat begitu banyak makanan lazat di mana-mana. Di sini juga agak sunyi, tidak bising langsung pada waktu malam. Sudah lama saya tidak tidur lena. Juga, kek bunga yang disediakan adalah lazat, dan minum petang juga sangat baik! ! ! Komen kecil: botol gel mandian tidak mudah ditekan, ia tidak akan melantun apabila ditekan, dan pengalamannya sedikit berbeza. Semua yang lain cukup bagus, sangat disyorkan! ! ! PS: Air di kepala pancuran mandian sangat besar! ! !

We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Comes with room slipper and the usual bathroom amenities. We asked for extra drinking water and was surprised that it was delivered by a robot. Hotel staff are also friendly. Hotel also gave us a free gift.

I had a great time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and conveniently close to everything. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to check in early as soon as my room was ready, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Although the building itself looks a bit old from the outside, the rooms are renovated and feel modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the noodle dishes, which were definitely a highlight for me. Another thing I appreciated was how easy and worry-free it was to receive my Taobao deliveries. The hotel helped store my packages safely until I collected them, which made online shopping very convenient during my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.
