Our stay in the hotel was great from start to finish. Overall, the hotel is very pretty, clean, and spacious. On top of that, the service is of upmost quality. We have been treated very carefully by the entire team, be it at the breakfast, the reception or the general butler service. Despite the hotel being a bit far away from the city center, our stay was very pleasant. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone who seeks a peaceful and recharging experience.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it was just as great as my first visit. On both occasions, the staff kindly upgraded our room due to availability, which was a really pleasant surprise. We ended up with larger rooms that were even more comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. The room was clean and very comfortable, making the overall stay very relaxing. I also appreciated that the room looked almost exactly like the photos shown on the Trip.com website—no unpleasant surprises at all. What stood out the most was the staff. They were consistently friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. Would definitely return again!

We stayed at the Intercontinental Kunming and booked the Alice in Wonderland themed room for our little girl. She was beyond excited the moment we walked in. The attention to detail was fantastic and really brought the story to life for her. The service throughout the hotel was excellent and everyone we encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. If I could offer one suggestion for improvement: it would be wonderful if the hotel offered guests the option to purchase some of the themed merchandise (like the small decor items or soft toy from the room). We would have loved to take a little something home to remember the experience. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended for families looking for something special in Kunming.

travelling as a family, i requested for 2 rooms that i booked to be closer together when checking in. ms. 赵 Yuma was very helpful and arranged accordingly. she even provided and upgraded room type so that the rooms can be nearby. the good service doesn’t start or end there. when we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and assisted us with our luggage. the location of the hotel was also decent, with the wanda mall beside the hotel and a short car ride away from the city centre and train station. even though the hotel opened several years ago, thefacilities are well maintained and the room decoration still looks good.

From the moment I walked in, A lady called Rebekah Yin greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making me feel welcome right away. She was incredibly efficient with the check-in process, taking the time to explain all the hotel’s amenities—like the 24-hour fitness center—without rushing through a single detail. When I mentioned I was in town for a business meeting and needed a quiet room, she went out of their way to upgrade me to a spacious room on a higher floor, even offering to arrange for a wake-up call . During my stay, I had a small issue with my room key, and the front desk team resolved it in minutes, and then Rebekah Yin apologizing profusely and even offering me a complimentary fruit at the hotel as a gesture of goodwill. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor truly set this hotel apart. and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to the city!

We recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed. First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs. The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options. A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests. A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level. Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

Hello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends. P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

Nice hotel. Staff need some training when handling requests. Incident happen on 7 March 26. On 8th March evening, my daughter wanted to buy food on line. But because we are foreigners, we do not have local phone number. My daughters approached the concierge for assistances. However, the response was unacceptable. The male concierge questions my daughters why they don't have local number in a very rude way. My daughters were surpirse by his questions. It was good that another concierge intervene and asssit my daughters on their requests. Although in the end, we did not mamage to order food on line, we are thankful for the second concierge asssitance. That being said, the hotel need look into training front line staff in handling inquires even if they are unable to accede to their guest request.

Saya memesan beberapa mee di dalam bilik🍜Memang sedap😋Memang dan berpatutan👌Bilik airnya luas dan mempunyai kawasan basah dan kering yang berasingan Saya suka💕Kakitangan hotel sangat baik👌Servisnya sabar! Apa yang paling saya suka ialah tempat letak kereta mereka di ruang bawah tanah adalah luas! Setiap kali saya lalu, rumahnya adalah pilihan pertama saya🏨Ia sangat dekat dengan pusat perniagaan!
