Cari Hotel 4-Star di Sanming

Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.

The hotel is a stone’s throw away from the tourists beloved ancient town. The hotel room is clean and modern looking. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful - they offered us free ponchos when it was raining. Overall a great affordable hotel to stay!

A hotel with huge, clean rooms by the lake. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene. What truly makes it stand out, however, are the staff and their personalized service. We were wonderfully taken care of by the manager, Mdm Zou, and her team — from station pick-up and drop-off to a comfortable room, tasty breakfast, and well-arranged transport. I can’t thank the team enough for such a wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend Minjiang Hotel to anyone looking for a pampered holiday in Taining.

Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

Great stay. Very spacious room. Clean and quiet. We liked everything about it. The price is very modest for what you’re getting. Would definitely stay again.

Decent hotel for the price with modern updated rooms. Location is a bit further from the central area.

Very good hotel location, clean and all the staff are very helpful
