อยู่หน้าอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัยเดินไปนิดเดียว ห้องเก่าแล้ว แคบ ไม่มีตู้เย็น เป็นห้องพัดลม ห้องน้ำสภาพไม่ดี ไม่คุ้มราคาเพราะโรงแรมราคานี้ที่ดีๆยังมีอีกเยอะ เจ้าของบริการดีอัธยาศัยดี แต่ครั้งหน้าถ้าไปอีกขอนอนโรงแรมอื่นดีกว่า

We had a most delightful experience at smiling face guest house. It is a fabulous location, couple of minutes to local market and then out front of market to some extremely good restaurants. The hosting family are so very lovely and helpful. We were given a map on arrival and explained a bit about what to see in Sukhothai. Guest house has free bikes for guest use, so off we went to the historical park, awesome, but best on a bike, not a walk, too much to see. Anyway back to smiling face, the room was spotless and the vibe was friendly and comfy. We had a really positive experience and I would recommend anyone to stay here and see the wonders of Sukhothai. Don’t miss weekend night market!

I chose this typical Thai-style budget hotel primarily because of its close proximity to Sukhothai Historical Park. Situated approximately 250 meters from the park entrance, its location couldn't be any better. It also offers ample parking for those travelers who self-drive. The hotel itself modern, clean, and obviously very well maintained. The bedding and towels appear to be new. The air-conditioning, hot water, and refrigerator worked just fine. At a walk-in rate of 600 THB, I would gladly stay here again.

What a lovely place! Clean, new, nicely located (about 30 minutes from Sukhothai Historical Park, market and busses to Chiang Mai and Bangkok. The gentleman at the front desk is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Worth renting a bike from the hotel and move around. Even you can enter the park by paying extra 10 B for the bike, which is very convenient for seeing everything in an hour or so. Big C and a shopping center are a few km away from the hotel, there there’s only place to exchange money.

スコータイ市街地から西に凡そ10KMの国道12号線上（スコータイ歴史公園の手前）にある老舗の4階建てホテル。過去に秋篠宮殿下をはじめ明仁親王・美智子妃夫妻といった日本の皇族方が宿泊したという由緒正しいホテルであり、スコータイ市内では群を抜いた格式を漂わせる斬新な外観が特徴。開館から既に30年近い歳月が流れ館内の老朽化が否応なく進行しているものの、中庭のプールを取り囲むコロニアル様式風の客室棟のデザインと神殿を彷彿とさせるロビー周りの意匠、北部タイ産出の木材や籐製の家具をふんだんに用いたタイ伝統家屋を彷彿とさせる客室内装などに老舗の高級ホテルならではの佇まいを垣間見ることが出来る。しかしながら、創業時からの館内設備の維持・更新、また従業員サービスというホテル経営の根幹をなすソフト・ハードの両面において既に欠落してしまっており過去の名声も凋落していると見做さざるを得ない。（因みに、チェックイン・アウト時ともに受付スタッフが不在であった！）当ホテル・グループはピサヌローク市内の旧市街エリアが発祥で元はピサヌローク市内屈指の高級ホテルとして日本からの団体ツアー客御用達的な位置付けであったのだが、経営者の関心がホテル運営になく過去の名声に胡座をかいた悪しき顛末として記憶されるべきであろう。

良かった点 ・歴史公園から近いこと。徒歩5分ほどで着きます。周辺には飲食店、7-11、市場もあり飲食には困りません。 ・若女将さんが親切でした。また、大女将さんにタイ古式マッサージをしてもらったのですが、値段も手ごろで気持ち良かったです。（200バーツ/1時間） ・スコータイの空港までの送迎を手配できること。（300バーツ/1人）特に早朝や夜間は、旧市街周辺ではgrabタクシーはつかまりません。 良くなかった点 ・ダブルで予約したのですが、なぜかツイン（シングルベッド×2）でした ・朝食を手配するかどうかは、前日までに言わなければならない。自分は知らなくて、食べ損ねてしまいました。無料のパンとクッキーで凌ぎましたが。 ・エアコンのききがイマイチで、なかなか涼しくならない。

The location is about 1.2 km from the park and it’s very convenient for the tourist. You can walk or tuk tuk to the park. The staffs are nice. The swimming pool is lovely and has jacuzzi. The breakfast is good. Recommended!

Superb location with our room overlooking the fields and a lovely swimming pool with loungers- again with countryside views. Extensive grounds including a large pond and vegetable garden. Good A/C in room and poolside bar - essential when we were there as 42 degrees and too hot to eat outside. Pool restaurant serves breakfast (simple menu) and lunch/dinner meals. Disappointing that the main restaurant was closed during our stay so we had dinner in the pool bar which lacked atmosphere. Room was large and had a good bathroom - could probably do with a light refresh at some point. Good hotel to base yourself at for a couple of days to see the wonderful Sukothai and Si Satchanalai temple complexes.
