Ein Traum von einem Hotel! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, mit grandioser Aussicht. Vor allem die wohl saubersten Zimmer aller bisher in Indonesien besuchten Hotels. Alleine dafür hat das Hotel einen goldenen Preis verdient! Aber auch das Bad ist schön geräumig, sogar mit Badewanne und Dusche. Im Hotel ist für alles gesorgt: Mehrere sehr leckere Restaurants (wir waren im japanischen Restaurant und haben das Abendbuffet im anderen Restaurant probiert, beides sehr sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig). Zum Frühstück wurden sehr gute Gerichte angeboten, mit großer Auswahl, nur leider sehr viele Leute und wenige verfügbare Plätze. Der Pool war super und der Bademeister aus Malukan sehr freundlich und er spielte sogar Musik aus Papua! Das Personal überhaupt im Hotel war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, immer verfügbar und zuvorkommend. Wir waren wirklich rundum begeistert. Erholung garantiert! Sehr gerne beim nächsten Mal in Surabaya wieder!!!

Terima kasih, mendapat peningkatan percuma di grand deluxe plus bathtub, hotel ini selesa, terdapat kemudahan penggera pembesar suara ihome, bersambung ke Ciputra world mall, sofa lembut dan estetik, kolam renang tanpa batas dan jakuzi ada di tingkat 22 ada juga ruang eksekutif dan sudut gim di sana. pekerjaannya cukup luas tetapi tidak ada nota atau pena yang disediakan seperti hotel lima bintang pada amnya, dan terdapat sedikit kekurangan di bilik mandi seperti bunyi orang yang datang dari bilik sebelah, pintu bilik mandi yang rosak tidak dapat ditutup dengan betul dan air dari mandi mandi berbau. Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

The hotel has a clean feel, staffs are efficient, friendly and helpful! We had Stephenjen check us in and was so helpful with our early check in and also sound us out about our booking as we had double booked by mistake; the Grand Kitchen breakfast had quite a nice selection of food for breakfast. The staffs were really friendly, efficient and hardworking! Special shout out to Ms Citra, who made us feel welcomed, Tri and Randi who were helpful and hardworking! Thank you for these lovely people who reflect the people and culture here - kind, respectful and service oriented.

Stayed in one of their deluxe rooms (one level above standard) and it was worth the little extra money. My room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet although the hotel was facing a busy street. Options for breakfast were good and best of all, the front desk staffs were friendly and helpful. It’s located about 5 min by car from Tunjungan Plaza but the price is much cheaper than the hotels in TP area. Can be a good option if you want to stay in the center of the city but with lower budget.

I stayed at this hotel 14-15 jan 2022. However this oldy hotel has a good maintence. Superior room was so small and bit odors. Forget about the room. The amazing and memorable moment about this hotel was the cafe resto. Cozy place n classic ambience. I was bfast in there. And bfast menu was OK. Swimming pool was clean enough. Good choice to staycation in here. Definitely come back here.

I stayed here when my cousin get married on March 2021. Verwood hotel located in the very strategic area which near to toll, restaurant, public facility, etc. Guest only need to walk less than 5 mins to reach many restaurant around there : Warung Sederhana (Padang Restaurant), Ayam Bakar Prima Rasa, Boncafe, etc. This hotel divided into hotel and apartment. I stayed in the hotel because it already been renovated. Room Spacious enough and covered by carpet. Completed by sofa, desk, and chair, and also other amenities : mini refrigerator, TV, coffee/tea maker. This room looks like already being renovated. Bathroom Bathtub and shower is not separated. Need to pay more attention on the cleanness. Amenities was complete Pool I was asking for swim towel to reception, but they said that I can use towel in my room and they could change it if I want. No staff on the pool. Breakfast Standard variant menu for 4 star hotel : Indonesian menu, omelette, noodle, salad, dessert. We were waiting for several minutes to have fried rice while being refilled. Only less staff standby on the restaurant. Overall this is a good hotel because of their location. But, because this is not a new hotel, they need to have good maintenance to ensure that all facilities in a good condition.

I have spent decades travelling for work and the Majapahit is now my favourite hotel on earth. It is like staying in the pages of a history book. My beautiful king suite room opened onto the swimming pool and my only regret is not having more time to stay there. Everything about this hotel is classy, from the fantastically friendly general manager, through the fabulously helpful and kind staff, to the facilities such as the great restaurant (breakfast is never to be missed!), rocking pub and beautiful swimming pool area. The hotel is also in a very good downtown location and near the big shopping malls if that is your thing. To travel to Surabaya and not stay in the Majapahit, would not only be a missed opportunity, it would be a crime against future memories. I cannot wait to get back there.

All was ok except for our departures at 2am in the morning. Earlier on I appeoached the receptionist at the counter to help book 3 grab cars to the airport as there were problems on our Grab Apps. The receptionist convinced me to get taxis instead, eventhough the price was doubled, I agreed to it for our convenience. But upon depature, the 3 cars that came were privately owned cars and not taxis! We approached, the receptionist concerned said it was the hotel cars and when I told him he promised me taxis not private cars, he did not answer. I felt cheated. The hotel should do something about its staff shortchanging guests!
