It's so easy to write a review when the issues identified in the review of a previous stay last year remain uniformly the same. And since the hotel at that time wrote, ”you can be assured that your remarks will be discussed with our team so that your next visit will give you complete satisfaction”, but obviously did nothing, it seems fair to deduct another star from the rating. It's a pity, but I don't see why the blatant lie should be overlooked. So, copying word-for-word from my last review, ”almost all [problems] concerned breakfast, where the potatoes were tough and dry, where the buffet included no fish products (no lox, no hering, no whitefish) and no mushrooms, where the selection of bread was like that of a two- or at most three-star hotel.” Yes, it's exactly the same now as it was then. There are no other significant deficiencies at this property, overlooking the fact that it is a bit dated overall (though in good shape as far as I could see). Positives include: - Breakfast open from 05:45, this already sets the hotel apart - Gym fully equipped and open 24 hours; there is even apparently a pool - Room was large, with both a bathtub and a shower stall - Easily walkable from the airport (signage not perfect in a couple of spots) - Executive lounge food selection in the evening not very inspiring, just managed to be adequate Really, the hotel should address the deficiencies related to breakfast AND not dishonestly imply that you're going to but then fail to.

Honestly, this was the worst experience of our lives. The hotel feels like it’s run by a club of amateurs. The service was an absolute disaster. We waited 40 minutes for our breakfast, only for them to bring the wrong order. No apology, no effort to fix it—just pure incompetence. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity.

The hotel and staff looked after us exceptionally well during our first stay to Geneva. The room was ready as we arrived at the hotel at 9:30am and they had kindly upgraded us to a room with a lake view to celebrate the reason for our trip. The staff could not have been more welcoming, kind and helpful during our stay. The concierge was extremely helpful and gave us many tips on where to visit during our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the setting is really special. The hotel is a 40 minute walk to the old town which we enjoyed each day, although the hotel do offer guests a travel card which allows use of public transport which was super easy. The swimming pool is wonderful - the only downside to our trip was our final day when there wasn't enough sun beds at the pool and we would recommend that perhaps hotel guests could reserve the beds to ensure this didn't happen. All in all a fabulous trip one that we will remember and the hotel 10/10!

The service at this hotel makes it a 5 star in my opinion. The valet / bellman are attentive and friendly . The reception staff is absolutely lovely and kind - very welcoming . The waitstaff in the restaurants are quick and professional while catering to business travelers but also vacation travelers. The rooms are standard Marriott rooms. But after our disappointing last hotel stay in St . Gervais - a huge American style room was a lovely welcome . Every meal that we had was fresh & clean . I highly recommend the quinoa salad with the warm gazpacho. The location is right on the lake and you can’t beat the views from the pool . Next time I come , I’ll try swimming in the open water swim park !

This was my first stay in Geneva and as always I had a wonderful time. Let's start with the check in, all the staff were happy and smiling which made me feel very welcome. Provence was very kind and she showed me the way to the room and also the hotel facilities. I loved the room, so spacious and open in white, very big bed and in front of a huge garden. The welcome gift was a highlight for me: a big bottle of red wine which is made by the owner and also delicious chocolate with caramel. It was very interesting for me that the hotel logo was everywhere, on the chocolate, on the cappuccino, the club sandwich etc. We ate so much , the breakfast was perfect too, I can recommend the pancakes, the cappuccino and the fresh orange juice (so sweet oranges like in Greece).You can eat also sushi for breakfast.Simon I think was his name, he was the best at breakfast, so attentive and happy to assist us. Thank you very much, we will come back

The hotel is great and brand new with sauna, swimming pool and gym. My checking in staff was very friendly and helpful but there was one day our room wasn’t made even tho we hung the tag in front and spoke to the cleaning lady. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, not like the lady on the first day. It was only flaw for this hotel throughout my 4Nights stay.

BBenny Hon ChungThe hotel is in a central location which is only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the old town where the cathedral and all the big luxury brands can be found. There are a lot of restaurants in its vicinity. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and sound proofing is excellent. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming, and accomodating. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's check in time is 1500 but we were given a room when we arrived at 1210. The gentleman and lady at the reception counter even gave us a city map and took several minutes telling us where to go. The two reception girls in the afternoon also showed us their welcoming smiles every time they saw us. When we called to request to have a kettle the hotel gave us not just a kettle but a whole lot of instant coffee and tea bags. Wow what a surprise to receive such excellent service in a small 4 star hotel! I highly recommend it to all travellers who want to receive exceptional service.

PPengguna TetamuI liked this hotel. Good location, 7 minutes or so from the central train station (which we walked to every day) and 2 blocks from Lake Geneva. It is is the ”new” part of town, not Old Town, but it was simple to get to the old part of town--we walked over there twice, including return in the evening after dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very modern feel, and the room was a good sized compared to what we’ve seen in other European cities (but it was also a bit more expensive). Breakfast was good. Three choices: Continental, Buffet without eggs and hot food, and Full Buffet. Not cheap but consistent with the prices we’ve seen in other hotels. No U.S. plugs; didn’t expect them. We didn’t have an ironing board in our room, but upon request, one was quickly brought to us, and we kept it throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, 4 pillows, but as in many northern European hotels, only a comforter, no top sheet. It's possible we could have gotten one upon request--I didn't try. Our room did have a table and two chairs, as well as a nice TV, which we didn’t use, so can’t really report on that. We were on the 5th floor, room 58. The only issue with this room is that it is in kind of a dormer, I think; on my (6’3”) husband’s side of the bed, the ceiling sloped down low so that if he wasn’t paying attention, he would hit his head when he stood up. Also, as a dormer, the window is small, but that really didn’t matter to us. The A/C worked. The room had an interesting design. The toilet was in a separate room with a sink. The closet was in the entry, across from the bar; it was not large but did have several open shelves you could use. There was coffee, tea and water and a small number of snacks available. The bathroom (other than toilet), including the large shower, was open to the bedroom; however, there were “partition” type door/walls you could use when you were talking a shower for privacy and warmth. I hadn't seen anything like it. It’s a little hard to explain, but it made the room feel a little bigger, while allowing plenty of privacy while showering. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds and a good size working desk. I had dinner in both the restaurant and the bar. Service was good and staff attentive. Food was well presented and tasty. The reception area was spacious and I was able to spend some time before leaving for the airport catching up on work. Thank you all for your kind attention. All done with graciousness and a smile.

PPengguna TetamuTout le personnel est souriant, accueillant, sympathique, à la réception, au bar, aux petits-déjeuners, c'est si rare aujourd'hui qu'il faut le souligner. Une très bonne idée, les portraits de l'équipe dans la salle du restaurant ! Ce bel hôtel est situé à quelques minutes à pied du lac et à proximité de nombreux restaurants de tout style culinaire et pour toutes les bourses. Un parking souterrain est disponible contre supplément bien sûr, mais indispensable dans le quartier. Nous avions une agréable chambre ”exécutive” avec une grande terrasse au dernier étage, avec une vue sur le Jet d'Eau mais pas sur le lac. Normal, ce n'est pas indiqué dans le descriptif de la chambre. En résumé, nous avons passé un très agréable week-end au Novotel et dans cette très belle ville internationale qu'est Genève.

La réception accueil Chalard un et très professionnel et sur tout Marie et Rachid et tous les autres.une semaine magnifique et beaucoup d’empathie. Ma chambre au 8ieme étage une vue imprenable sur Genève le jet d’eau les Alpes du pur bonheur Cerise sur le gâteau le petit déjeuner riche et varié produit suisse et de qualité supérieure et Bio je citerai Maylick et Noémie aux petits soins. Je suis une habituée de cet hôtel et j’ retournerai à mon prochain séjour à Genève. Je le recommande très fort

JJasmine AuI go to Geneva to attend seminar and stay in this hotel for 1 week. As the conference is near airport and hotel is very close to the site. Short, even walking distance which is so much convenience. Hotel is clean and tidy and provide cleaning machine. Breakfast is just okie.
When go to Geneva next time, will try some other hotel in downtow.

PPengguna TetamuVery close to train station. Across main road and a minute walk. Lots around the hotel, Starbucks, McDonald’s, various restaurants and cafes. Coop small supermarket and other shops. Our room was very clean, cleaned every day. Simply furnished with modern fittings and a great shower, good towels, tv, kettle, tea/coffee bits. Everything you need. Breakfast is served on the 8th floor, with great views and was also immaculate though we didn’t have breakfast during our stay. 5 minutes walk to river. There was quite a bit of noise late at night in the area behind the hotel (car park and street) , our window was open and it didn’t bother us. I’m sure with windows closed the noise would be far less. Staff at reception were very friendly.

Super comfy and fun place to stay here. We stayed for two nights and it was great. The bed was one of the best we had on our holiday and the room had a nice laid out bathroom. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the side of the lake and very close to the main train station. We cooked dinner both nights in the room and they had a very good set up for it. All staff in the hotel were very friendly and check in and out was a breeze. Also if you're wanting a drink close by, I'd recommend the Grand Duke Pub.

EEFLYOne receptionist was friendly while another one was annoyed at us not being able to arrange the public transportation card ourselves. We made our booking through trip so we didn’t receive any email from the hotel with any QR code. He could at least try and listen to us calmly instead getting annoyed so easily…
