1. The hotel is in a very good location, convenient for taking the subway, shopping or eating. 2. The room is clean and comfortable, with a complete gym and swimming pool sauna. 3. The receptionist is very professional and friendly. I particularly like the Korean receptionist (Jooeun). She is cute! I wish I could be friends with her, and I regret not asking to take a photo with her.

The hotel is very convenient located near the opera house. The service is great and the rooms are quite large. It is a luxury hotel but the furniture is a little dated the hotel could use a make-over, though the rooms were clean. Breakfast was disappointing for the price, every day the same and just not what I would expect for the price paid.

We stayed for 1 night and had the buffet breakfast. Requested for a cot and a high chair upon check-in and they were ready when we got in to the room! We booked the two-bedroom deluxe, they were interconnected and very spacious with a modern kitchen. The room was clean and there was milk in the fridge. Our room didn’t have a nespresso machine though, such a shame because the details said it should. The tv remote in the main room wasn’t working but we only stayed for the night and it didn’t bother us. I like that they have robes and slippers ready to wear. The beds weren’t very comfortable though, we all struggled to get a good night sleep. Check-in was a breeze, all the staff were so easy go talk to. The car park was on-site which was great. The hotel’s location is its best feature as it’s so close to everything — train station, woolies, restaurants, cinemas etc. it’s even connected to Regents Place at Level 10. I could not fault the staff. They are just so friendly and accommodating, always with a smile on their faces. They were also very quick go respond. The breakfast buffet was amazing and food was great, although it was disappointing that they still charged us full walk-in rate $32 instead of pre-book $28 each even though I told them that I tried to book online and via phone and spoke to Vincent. That’s why I’m only rating it 4/5 stars. Will return soon though :)

Overall room was clean, however the USB port in the bedroom did not work, the alarm clock was not set and had an extremely annoying buzz, resulting in I had to unplug it anyway. The directions to the parking was extremely poor, no mention of a lift being used or what to expect. I suggested a flyer could be done to answer any questions for customers needing to use the car park service. There was little to no engagement of the staff about this and were only able to restate the poor information that was already given. I felt like a number and not a paying customer. It would seem your attention to details is lacking, and this would flow down from management to floor staff.

AC in room 2614 wasn’t working but we called hotel staff and they immediately changed to the new room which is bigger. Thanks for promptly responsible. Breakfast is not too much choices tho. Thought it could have been better for 5 star hotel.

Excellent location right across QVB -- check-in was also smooth and the receptionist gave us an early check-in at 11am which was very much appreciated. Rooms seemed new possibly because they have been refurbished, very generous size and everything you need in a business hotel. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Sydney!

Unfortunately, this was a quick overnight trip for us, however, the hotel and location is superb and we will definitely return for longer next time!

Overall this was a good stay for one night. The location is in the middle of Sydney next to town hall and Museum Station. There is a great viewing platform on the top of the building with ample seating and a pool. The bed was comfortable, with a shower, toilet, TV and tea / coffee making facilities. The Amora in Jamison Street is now my 'go to ' city location. It is superbly situated within striking distance of The Rocks,Barangaroo and the main shopping area whilst having superb eateries within walking distance. No need to take the car once parked. We also love the smell as you enter the foyer - very reminiscent of the Imperial in Delhi. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

I recently stayed at this hotel, but there was construction going on right next door, which was quite loud. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, I would recommend choosing another place. I requested compensation due to the lack of prior notice about the noise by email. The main reason I ended up moving to a major chain hotel was due to the absence of decision-makers, leaving the staff unable to do anything. I emailed the manager about my concerns, but I never received any response.
