Hilton Tampa Westshore Airport about a 4-Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, check-in was quick and easy, received extra towels requested prior to arrival, management (Aileen, Pablo and Liz) checked in daily made me feel like valued Gold Member. Perfect location to International Plaza, short drive to Macdill/Convention Center, Bed comfortable, Bar Lobby friendly bartenders- drinks a little pricey but hotel normal like the old fashion ($18) and parmersian chicken wings were really cooked to order , LG TV picture line distortion may need replacing/upgrading at least in my room 810, no microwave in room, bathroom a little dated with ceiling peeling especially above shower but room decor was nice and room was clean so bathroom needs work. Normally don’t have cleaning during stay just towel replacement and trash disposal but hard to find large trash dispensers on floor and/or outside non existent for easy trash removal, A/C in room had to keep temp low at 66 to keep room at pleasant temp for us as we visited in July may need checking normally we set temp at other locations around 69-70. Overall enjoyed our stay. would stay again Nice location and friendly employers.

Really handy for TPA having arrived from the UK. Rooms are a decent size, however the sofa bed was not made up when we went to our room. Disappointingly when we went down to reception to mention this we were told that we would have to make the bed up ourselves. Never in all of our travels have we ever been told such a rediculous thing. We we challenged this again, the reception staff finally relented and sent housekeeping to make up the bed.

Would have appreciated if the vending machine on each floor was in operable condition, but otherwise the hotel was great.

Now this location is great we love this hotel the amenities is awesome the room looks very clean it is very clean has great amenities as a blow-dryer has everything that you need the water pressure is amazing is just a little expensive but that's okay when we are able to pay for this we will be there more often

The staff at Le Meridian could not have been better or nicer! They were incredibly friendly and helpful….a big shout out to LaLithia at the front desk who was awesome and helped us upon check-in. The glass of complimentary sparkling wine upon check-in is a nice touch. The complimentary coffee in the lobby from 6 am until noon is also a nice and appreciated touch. Our room was very spacious and very clean. I am giving my review a 4 start vs 5 star because of the room decor and, quite frankly, the hotel (hallway decor) as well. Whoever was in charge of interior design should be fired! Our room was incredibly depressing because EVERY wall except the entry hall was painted a DARK gray. The carpet (new at least) was also a DARK gray. The bathroom was ….guess what….a DARK gray. Because the hotel is a converted old court house, the ceilings are high and made of cement so there is no recessed lighting (understandable). BUT, there wasn’t even a floor lamp in our room. It was SO DARK and DEPRESSING. Needless to say, we felt we were living in a CAVE. When you stay at an upscale hotel for a getaway or mini vacation, you expect to feel happy and uplifted. The decor did just the opposite. In addition, our room was lacking ANY seating area other than the bed and a desk chair (at bar height to match the bar height desk). It was CLEARLY MISSING a couple of comfortable occasional chairs. We called the front desk as soon as we walked into our room and requested a couple of chairs. They brought us 2 stacking chairs. I guess it was the best they could do under the circumstances but they certainly weren’t comfortable chairs that one would want to relax in. Also, the TV was very small given the size of the room and the distance from the bed to the TV. As for my reference to the hotel decor, and specifically the hallways, Marriott fell so far short in making this hotel what it COULD be given its unique history and architecture. When you walk down the hallways the bottom half of the walls have old marble (a nice touch and vestigial feature of the court house) BUT the top half of every wall is BARE. It is just COLD and lacks ANY sign of nice decor. Why wouldn’t they line these hallways with old, framed photos of court houses, court rooms, judges, etc???? Or old photos of Tampa? Or have a local artist paint murals on these walls? Ironically, the hotel gives its guests free passes to the Tampa Art Museum but whoever designed the interior space didn’t bother to include ANY artwork in the hallways. And the “artwork” in our room consisted of a few ugly, random cheaply framed posters. You might think that I am overly critical….after all, as I said, the staff was lovely and responsive and our room was spacious, quiet and clean. BUT, because our room was just so DARK and DREARY and DEPRESSING we wanted to minimize the time we spent at this hotel.

Hotel ini agak membingungkan untuk masuk ke tempat parkir yang bijak. Kemudahannya berpatutan. Biliknya bersih. Satu kelemahan yang dapat saya sebutkan, adalah hotel ini terletak betul-betul di landasan kereta api. Anda boleh mendengar kereta api berjalan sepanjang malam. Keretapi itu menabrak tanduk jadi bersiaplah jika anda berencana untuk tinggal di sini, untuk mendengar kereta api. Kelemahan kedua ialah termostat di dalam bilik. Ya termostat. Kenapa? Yang ada di bilik kami secara harfiah menerangi seluruh ruangan. Terang seperti api biru. Saya pasti seperti kebanyakan orang dewasa suka tidur dalam kegelapan. Tidak, ini benar-benar bersinar terang sehingga anda dapat membaca buku dengan cahaya. Saya akan mengesyorkan meredupnya untuk pelanggan sebelum memasuki bilik. Oh, kami juga mempunyai beberapa pengisi suara di bilik kami di sebelah. Harus memanggil ke tingkat bawah untuk memberitahu mereka bahawa sudah tiba masanya untuk berehat. Simply stated, Rachel and Jeannine both extended themselves above and beyond what I had expected. They are superb representatives of the organization in a profession that is often thankless. I also want to acknowledge the breakfast staff, who not only kept the food replenished, but also maintained a very clean area, no small task to say tbe least.
