Beautiful room and common areas. Dinner was excellent, great breakfast. Staff were very attentive. The rooftop sauna with city views was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Sami music playing in my room really when I arrived set the tone as did the pine scented soaps.

I've stayed at all the hotels in Tampere, this one is worth paying extra for. Highly highly recommended.

Room was cozy and fresh. Location was nice and whole environment was top notch.

Great stay. I visited during the hot summer weeks. The air conditioner wasn’t the strongest but everything else was amazing. The breakfast was great as well.

Quite and comfortable

One of the best hotel breakfasts in Finland. Made by order omelettes with your favorite fillings are not so frequent in Finland. Very good location, extremely friendly staff and a nice standard room. If you are a Lapland fan, but don't have time to taste the real thing, this is the next best thing down south. The ambience of the hotel is very relaxed and cozy.

Overall comfortable

I had chosen the hotel as I have heard good about the sauna. Unfortunately the sauna was available only in a few hours in the evening (at the very same time when the people usually have dinner or go to the theatre) and I missed the whole sauna. That's something which should be said in the hotel information that the sauna is not open late in evenings, or during the day or in mornings. The breakfast room was too crowded: even though it's the Covid time I couldn't find a room for myself. When I finally after a long waiting got a table, the waiter took my coffee away two times while I was picking up some food. Finally I took my coffee from the machine and brought it to my room as the messiness and noise in the breakfast area was very unconfortable. Overall I felt the price of the hotel was not worth it as I got just a basic room, no extra services (no sauna, no gym, no good customer service...). The lightning of the room and a shower curtain were nice, something positive to mention, but that's all.

Very friendly and service oriented personnel, a good breakfast. The building itself is a bit ugly, although recently renovated from the inside. Pillows could be more comfortable (common problem in the hotels), the views from the rooms are mostly quite ugly, especially if the room is towards the yard.

Good stay, got the room earlier than we thought, always a plus. Nice breakfast, clean rooms. Will recommend. Room however had a sliding milkglass type of door to the bathroom. Did not stay closed, uncomfortable as the other person can see you in the bathroom. Change the doors or get a lock to them.

The location of Lapland Hotel Tampere is very good, on a side street next to the railway station, Sorsapuisto Park, Moomin Museum and some nice restaurants. We had a Deluxe King Room. It was very stylish. They also have special rooms for allergic people and people with a wheelchair. The breakfast room was very cozy and there was a summer terrace there. I loved the breakfast. It wasn't very abundant but they had interesting specialties, e.g. black sausage made of reindeer and spruce sprout green smoothie. There was an omelette station there, too. I chose an omelette with smoked reindeer and cheese. Gluten free options are also available at the breakfast. The hotel restaurant named Dabbal is extremely good. They have many specialties from Lapland but also stylish hamburgers. I recommend that you taste their delicious starters, too.
