Hotel LIVVO Valle Taurito & Aquapark

We stayed here in December at this hotel for 7 nights. Me, my husband and two young children. I was meant to give 3stars but because the hotel restaurant made an effort to give a “fine dining style” Christmas dinner we feel special. Food was great and the whole experience was lovely. All staff member are really good. The mini disco is also good. Not top quality like the one you get in Turkey but they are really entertaining for the children. Food is nice and lots of options. We are not fussy eaters, we eat anything. And to be honest there is food for everyone. Not big selection for desserts. Always cakes with different colours and shapes but they all tasted the same. We used the water park as my 5 yo daughter knew there is one. Few slides only like 3 slides for small children to use and the rests of slides are for older children as most slides have height requirements. Water is freezing so my daughter had enough after 4 slides down to the water. Water is sea water so we find it not too safe for her. Plenty of activities for kids at night like mini disco, small softplay, rides, etc. 🔴cons🔴 It took us like almost 3hours to get to hotel. Roads are narrows and one way so the bus we were on got stuck as there was a car in front and nobody wants to give in who will move first. I don’t know who should responsibility it is- jet2 or the hotel but I’m telling you it was not pleasant. The hotel is big and old. So their lift is Also old and annoying.oat of days we were there only one is working. We have a stroller so we need to use the lift. It takes so long to arrive and and only one working. The bathroom has smell. The bed is not comfortable like what other reviews said. I really noticed it. Bed is really hard. Limited selection of desserts- chiffon cake every day. Overall we enjoyed our holiday. Weather that time was fantastic. Warm and really pleasant.

Staff Most staff were nice in both at the restaurant and reception Food Breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant more like a cafe setting with average food, a lack of variety most days the same or very similar dishes came out over and over again, meat always tough, and temperature of food tepid, warm at best. The deserts were the same every day three cakes with different coloured glaze and design but the taste was always the same Poor quality all inclusive drinks, drinks sweet and sickly, the cocktails are made in advance and poured out of a jug which has been made in advance, nothing was made fresh The orange juice is not fresh orange juice it is some kind of concentrate more likely cordial No fresh orange or apple juice at any meals, although there was a small jug of grapefruit juice at breakfast All the drinks are served in disposable cups which is horrible, drinking out of a glass is so much nicer Tea and Coffee is also served in paper cups, cheap and nasty. Unfortunately in this resort, most if not all guests are staying in hotels on an all-inclusive basis There are not many restaurants and cafes to go to for an alternative, there are a couple of small restaurants on the beach which are really nice and staff friendly but when you have already paid a high price for all inclusive you don't really want to pay again but by the end of the holiday we felt that we needed some good food so we ignored the hotel cafeteria and ate elsewhere. To us, this hotel should be rated at a low 3 star and no more, certainly not a 4 Star in any shape or form Entertainment is awful, the kids seem to like the children's disco but the adult entertainment afterwards is very amateurish, and aimed at a young ordinance with lots of wrap dancing and we even had to watch painfully “musical chairs” it was just soooo boring

Brought my family here early January before they go back to school ect really enjoyed it nice clean hotel with good food will be back again next year, hotel room was spacious & always cleaned with comfy beds, water park was good but water was cold

Overall a good experience at this hotel. Staff were good, pool area very pleasant with lots of sunbeds, and rooms excellent. Cleaning of the rooms was always done soon after we left them in the mornings. I would say the food was 6 or 7 out of 10, not as good as some 4 stars we have stayed in, but this hotel was also cheaper. One thing that let it down was the lack of a nice bar area to have a drink in the evenings. It doubles as a games room with pool tables, and just wasn’t particularly nice. It was our first time in Taurito and the resort was as expected. Quite small with only a handful of bars/restaurants. The bus into Puerto Rico was cheap and punctual, and there taxi rank for the trip back was very efficient, and cost about 15 euros. We didn’t establish what time the last bus back to Taurito was, but thought it was probably around 10 pm. The one downside of Taurito, although obviously not the fault of the hotel, is the lack of easy access to Puerto de Mogan, which is so close (no more than 800 metres), but due to the closure of a road between the two resorts, now requires a 15 mile taxi ride each way. There isn’t a direct bus route. There are plans for a new tunnel between the two, and this will be a major plus for Taurito if/when it happens.

One of worst hotel accommodation for holiday with family of four. Even after paying high price for see view accommodation the hotel staff refused to give a room. Children are disappointed, staying here for 7 nights is waste of money. Unfriendly staff everywhere.
