Hotel berhampiran Postbllok - Checkpoint Monument di Tirana

Alla reception come detto in tutte le recensioni devi lasciare 100 euro di caparra e 8 euro al giorno a persona per le tasse...e anche se ho detto e fatto vedere che sul sito della prenotazione c'era scritto 1.70 a persona non gli è importato niente!! Quindi sarebbe il caso che il sito stesso aggiorni perché è una presa in giro!!! Ho dovuto aggiungere 32 euro alla mia prenotazione quindi non c'è stata tutta questa convenienza! L'hotel nel complesso si presenza bene e anche pulito ma le camere sono piccole davanzali e scaffali rotti non è proprio da 4 stelle!! La colazione molto scarsa non è compreso né caffè né tè né cappuccino ma solo latte freddo e succo ace! La cena se hai la pensione completa non è compresa neanche l' acqua il pasto non lo puoi scegliere o quello o quello il menù alla carta non è compreso nell pensione completa .assurdo!!! Poi in fondo non si mangia neanche male ma è veramente poco da rimanerci con la fame!! Mai vista una cosa del genere!!! La gentilezza ve la sognate!!

As requested by receptionists I post the review- unfortunately it cannot be positive. We arrived on Thursday afternoon (SEP 8 2022). First of all we were disappointed by impolite service in the restaurant that we used twice- for the lunch and for the dinner. During the lunch we were served by the waitress (black pony-tailed hair) who was impolite, impatient and angry. She was confusing the price of house wine several times- once she was saying the price of 800 LEK, shortly after the price increased to 8000 LEK, then 800 LEK again and suddenly she showed her disapproval that we dare to ask of the price of house wine as ”it is so cheap as 80 EUR”. Maybe 80 EUR for the house wine is cheap for the well-paid waitress but we do not consider it to be adequate price. During the evening we were lucky not to be served by Her. Restaurant manager came, took the order and professionally delivered pastas and drinks we ordered. Then nightmare started again as angry, stressed and tired (the same) waitress came and stated that ”she does not know if / and what kind of/dessert is left and we can go to the other bar and ask them”. Seriously? You have desserts in the menu and when I ordered panna cotta and tiramisu I must go to different place to ask it it is still available? This is not a treatment I would expect in a cheap meat shop, not in an aspiring 4 star hotel. This situation forced me to write the review. Hotel itself is pathetic with urgent need of maintanence- in our room nr 101 shower hand holder was falling apart whenever I was trying to move it, fridge did not produce any cold, water did not drain from the bidet and shower gel was so small that was not enogh to take even one shower, for one person. Plenty of insects in the outside pool, water needs impovement too. There is plenty cheaper hotels literally a few steps away where price- quality ratio will be much more honest. And perhaps their staff will not treat the guests as intruders who dare to ask for the price of ”house wine that is that cheap as 80 EUR”. Atmosphere in Best Western Ark at Rinas Airport is dense and the staff treats the guests condescendingly. There are jumping around the people who come for a dinner well-dressed (pretending to be much posh than they really are) serving them free shots whereas ignoring the people who come in casual clothes and telling to go for the desserts elsewhere. It is really strange that from all the guests ordering from the same menu only some get special treatment, even free shots and the others are not even served properly. The staff should definitely improve English. For us Best Western proved again that they are below standards or their much better competitors.

He visitado muchísimos países, y en hoteles de todo tipo, y en alguna oportunidad me ha tocado pedir “late checkout” o lo que es lo mismo “salida tarde” porque mi vuelo de regreso a casa sale muy tarde ese día. En este caso pagué casi 600€ por prácticamente 2 noches, eran 3 noches, pero la primera noche llegué a las 2 de la madrugada del aeropuerto, es decir, prácticamente 2 noches, cuando en Albania los hoteles están muy baratos, pero preferí agarrar una cadena conocida por si acaso, Y AL PEDIR LATE CHECKOUT DE 2h porque mi vuelo salía a las 18:50h de la tarde, ME DIJERON QUE NOOOO, cuando el hotel estaba recién estrenado y estaba prácticamente vacío!!!!!!!! ME PARECIÓ MUY MUY MAL, TUVE QUE ESTAR DANDO VUELTAS POR TIRANA Y COMER SÚPER TARDE, PARA PODER HACER TIEMPO HASTA LAS 16h que me fui al aeropuerto. PIENSO RECOMENDAR EL HOTEL? NO!!!!, PIENSO VOLVER??? NO!!!!, no sólo por esto, sino porque está lejos del centro, el restaurant Terra del hotel es carísimo, y mira que a mi casi nada me sorprende, pero la diferencia de precios con el resto de la ciudad, me sorprendió muchísimo. Pedimos para comer unas mini chuletas de cerdo ibérico y un Angus rib y 2 aguas, y nos cobraron 135€, cuando en el restaurante ERA, que está a 50 metros del hotel, lo recomienda TripAdvisor, y nos costó un risotto exquisito, y 2 chuletones de angus de 1.200 gramos con guarnición de setas y verduras, más pan, más 2 aguas, más una Pepsi max, OJO 53€, de locura!!!! Y estaba todo muy bien, así que no se justifican los precios del hotel. El hotel es bonito?? Si!!!, es cómodo??? Si!!!, está prácticamente nuevo, lo inauguraron hace poco, pero eso no da derecho a que te cobren 5 veces más por comer en sus instalaciones, está a 1 km y medio o más de la plaza Skanderbeg y de todo lo que hay que visitar por la capital de Albania. I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was sooooo friendly. They kindly did some laundry for me (5 euro surcharge ) The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. I recommend letting the front desk know if you want breakfast, I didn't realize I had to do this, but they still accommodated me last minute which I appreciated so much. Breakfast is not included in price. Cute cafe on the lower level and great location! I hope I can visit again someday.

Had a really lovely stay here. Location is perfect. Five minutes walk from the airport bus stop and Skanderbeg Square. Lots of pavement cafes nearby. Safe area. Friendly staff. Shaban so helpful. Breakfast continental style but more than enough. If the coffee is too strong dilute with boiled water (kettle accesible) and then the coffee is perfect. The windows are small, the fridge in the room can't really be used. But with shops nearby is no problem. If you book here you really won't regret it. Amazing value for money. I will definitely return. Thank you Hotel Jolly for your Albanian hospitality and a lovely stay.

We stayed at Vila e Arte last week and we highly recommend it. We had the top floor apartment which was huge; very spacious and perfect for our family of 4. With two bathrooms it made the experience even more enjoyable. I have only given 4 out of 5 because we didn’t use any of the cooking facilities or eat at the hotel as we were with friends and ate out a lot. I would highly recommend booking the Apartment at Vila e Arte and then exploring all the wonderful places surrounding it. The hotel sits in a perfect location, within a short walk you get right in the heart of a bustling market on Creative Square. There are snack shops, pharmacies and restaurants everywhere! You will never be stuck for choice staying in this area. We appreciate all that the hotel owners did for us; they were friendly and accommodating to all our needs; they cleaned the apartment daily and provided fresh bedding and towels every day. We are already looking forward to going back.
