Chelsea hotel is very close to the University of Toronto, bus station, banks, supermarket. The location is vary good and the price is not too expensive.Though, there's no refrigerator in the room and you can have the ice cubes at the corner of the same floor. And the fertilities of the room are quite dilapidated, like the carpet with dirt ,the water volume of the faucet is not easy to control.....

Despite the large rooms and convenient location, this hotel is one to miss. They threatened to cancel the booking in advance of staying, and I really wish they had...A three night stay. To start with, it has seen better days and is in need of a makeover. It isn't helped by cleaning staff bashing their unbalanced cleaning carts into the walls n a regular basis. Service is mediocre to poor at best, with the door opener too busy chatting to open the door for you, some clumsy waitering and some alarmingly poor information and policies for travellers about their bills (my room was already paid in advance and included breakfast, but they still put a hold on my card for the full stay anyway!!!). The rooms are large, but lit with lamps impossible to switch off easily and in one case shorting on me when switching and leaving me thinking I had a lucky escape. I am not there to be electrocuted... But the light is all in the wrong place, leaving me packing and unpacking in the dark. The air con was freezing, and whilst the beds have excellent bedding they are so warm that it requires throwing them off and launching into a freeze/boil cycle all night. The TV remained a mystery to me (I tend not to use this anyway) but colleagues staying in the same place reported requiring coaching for the electrics and the remote controls, none of which really helped. The pool is located on the fourth floor, and I had a swim one evening. It was fine, if weirdly silent (not many guests), but the saunas were fairly cold with no instructions or internal lighting to sort this out. It all felt a bit creepy, like no one really wanted me there. Calling it eccentric would flatter it: it was like a neglected haunted house. Shame as some lovely features, but too expensive for such poor attention to detail and I won't be stopping here again...

My wife and I brought our family to Toronto for the weekend, and the service and thoughtfulness of the staff was fantastic. The little details of leaving a tic-tac-toe game with tim-bits as the pieces, in our daughter's room ( ages 18,15,13) was a huge hit ! The staff is very welcoming, valet service was fast and polite. We travel a lot and this was the best hotel experience our family has ever had. We will be back, and I highly recommend the hotel. I stay for business travel and it's great for that too, but they exceeded expectations on making my family feel welcome.

If you are celebrating a special occasion, then you have to stay at The Hazelton Hotel. I booked a one-night stay, spa package, and dinner for two at One Restaurant, and I was beyond impressed with the level of hospitality, customer service, and attention to detail. It was my husband’s 60th Birthday and I had mentioned upon booking that this was the reason for our stay. To our pleasant surprise, we found a complimentary birthday cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our beautiful luxury room. This kind gesture only added to our exceptional experience. From the amazing spa package to our exquisite dinner at One (which we highly recommend you try both!!!) without hesitation, you need to stay at The Hazelton Hotel as they will not disappoint and exceed your expectations. Thank you to Victoria for her welcoming greeting and to our server, Belena for a great evening at One and the entire staff for making my husband’s 60th Birthday a memorable one. This boutique hotel offers that extra something that will make you want to return. My husband and I certainly will!!! Beyond 5-Star Review

歴史ある雰囲気のいいホテルといった感じで、全体的にスタッフの感じが良く、滞在中よくこまめに声をかけて下さいました。お部屋も素敵で文句なく快適なホテルでした。 朝はロビーにコーヒーが用意されていたり、ホテル内のレストランでアラカルトの朝食(有料)も利用可能、近くに素敵なカフェもあり便利な場所です。 アメニティは近隣のホテルのレビューなどを見ても歯ブラシやスリッパはないかもと思い持参しましたがやはりありませんでした。また今回の部屋は洋服を納められる棚はあるものの吊るすスペースやハンガーがめずらしくありませんでした。2泊の滞在でカジュアルな服しか持参していない私達は問題ありませんでしたがスーツなど必要な方はホテルに確認した方がいいかもしれません。 初めてのカナダなのに、今回ホテルを探す時間が十分なく前日に同価格帯の安定の大手ホテルとだけ比べ迷いましたが、写真や僅かな日本人の口コミに何となく惹かれて予約しました。結果ここにしてよかったですし、また次回もぜひ利用したいです。

First of all, BAD service attitude. When I checked out, the front desk stuff was playing with phone and ignored me. The cleaning stuff accused us of not cleaning up the bed so that she couldn’t make the bed. I understand, but her attitude is bad. I was offended. In addition, the fire alarm sounded in about 12:30 am! Although it is unavoidable issue, it still affected our rest. Last but not least, I booked for 4 nights. The hotel provided us 2 bottles of water in the first day. Then it would charged us for the water in rest of the days. I was thinking that if I “one day one check”, I would get 8 bottles of water for free. !!!!!

During this pandemic, a family member was stuck in Toronto with no place to go and having had her wallet stolen, leaving her only with one piece of photo ID. As you can imagine, she was beside herself. On top of everything, she had a leg ailment and could not walk easily. We booked this hotel because it was very close to where she happened to be and seemed to be reasonable in price. We didn't step foot in the hotel after paying the fees and booking the place, because the management refused to be flexible. They refused to take cash for a ”fees deposit.” They refused to take a credit card over the phone for the ”fees deposit.” They refused to accept a credit card payment for two extra days online (my suggestion) since it matched the deposit amount (surpassing it by a few dollars even). They refused a faxed or email credit card authorization and sent our family member into the bitter cold very late at night with no place to stay (AFTER we already paid). In this terrible pandemic, with all the difficulties being faced by people, it was shocking to experience this abject cruelty by the administration of this horrific hotel. Regardless of what's inside or what they offer, they should not be graced with business due to their completely uncaring and cruel attitude. in contrast, we found two wonderful hotels (one basic and one luxurious) who were willing to be flexible on their check-in procedures for a person in need, given these unprecedented times. I vowed when I had some time, that I would ensure this became public knowledge online.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, easily accessible from Toronto Pearson International Airport by UP Express and the subway. And has lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly service and thanks for the free, warm cookie! The room and furniture were a bit dated, and the bedding was not as smooth as I wanted it to be, but I could bear with it for two nights. I will consider staying here again next time I go to Toronto. :)

Hotel was really great. The whole hotel seems to have been recently renovated and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and were always happy to help! The included breakfast is way ahead of most hotels for a complimentary breakfast. Hot food and a good selection. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes from the subway and next to a streetcar stop. Hotel is almost in the heart of downtown so it's easy to come and go as you want during the day. I recommend this place and would definitely like to go back again!
