I have been traveling regularly all across Europe for nearly two decades, and (for the money) my wife and I agreed that this is the most pleasant hotel we've stayed at on the the continent. When we walked into the room we couldn't believe what we were getting for the price - especially the spacious marble bathroom. The front desk staff were wonderful - giving us advice on chateau's to visit and making dinner reservations for us. The hotel's location is great also. It is right across the street from the market hall with an affordable parking garage underneath, and it is also walkable to the lively Plum Square. As a whole our stay in Tours exceeded our expectations overall, due in larger part to this hotel.

Really wish we could have stayed here longer! We had 1 night in a very well-equipped, spacious T4 apartment. A balcony would have made it perfect! The secure underground parking was a particular attraction when staying in a city. We walked into town and enjoyed exploring the old town, the river banks and generally soaking up the atmosphere. There is a bakery about 10 minutes walk away if you don't want to pay 11 euros per person for breakfast. There is also an Auchan supermarket about 10 minutes in the opposite direction over the pedestrian railway bridge. Although the hotel overlooks the railway, soundproofing is excellent. Would definitely recommend this place whether travelling by rail or car.

Having just arrived from a Mecure in Clermont-Ferrand, to call this hotel a Mecure, damages the brands name. The whole hotel is in need of a major revamp. On arriving at your room, you always want to feel that it's adequate for a good night sleep. The very thin sheet right on top of the unprotected mattress did not give me that impression ! The room looked dated. There was a rip in the blackout curtains backing. We were facing the railway, and the soundproofing was adequate. The fridge had been removed, but the extension lead and space for it was still in place, and on mentioning it the next day to reception, the reply was, ”Only Privilege rooms have them” . Which we knew was wrong as we were travelling as a 4 and our friends had a fridge. Their room was just as dated as ours.

Après avoir vécu une péripétie avec un autre hôtel ce jeudi 7 juillet à 23h30 nous avons appelé celui ci savoir s’il leur restait de la place. Nous avons eu un Monsieur très gentil au téléphone qui nous a indiqué qu’effectivement il restait des chambres de libre. 10 minutes plus tard nous étions sur place. Très bon accueil, remise de la carte de chambre avec explications très rapide ! La chambre était calme et bien isolée ! Il y faisait bon ! Pas de soucis particulier à souligner si ce n’est qu’un sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain serait le bienvenue mais ceci n’est qu’un détail ! Merci à vous et nous réitérerons notre séjour lorsque nous aurons besoin ! Bon courage à toute l’équipe

We stayed one night at this fun hostel located in a convenient area of Tours. It’s an easy walk to the center of town. However we were glad that the hostel has a bar which also offered a a few snack ps. When we arrived (very hungry from a long day of travel), we were able to relax with a drink and a cheese/meat platter. They also provide luggage storage if you arrive before check in time. There is also a restaurant, which we didn’t try because it opened later. We reserved a private room with bath that was small, but comfortable and quiet. We had a great night’s sleep and would recommend the hostel for a short stay. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

E' un'ottima base per visitare i castelli della Loira. Siamo stati (gruppo di 8 persone) in questo hotel per 5 giorni ed è stata un'ottima scelta. Camere e bagno essenziali nello stile IBIS ma ben tenute e pulite, bagno con finestra. L'hotel è di lato alla stazione di Tours, in una strada tranquilla e il centro storico e la bellissima cattedrale sono a 15 minuti a piedi. E' ben posizionato per raggiungere le strade statali per visitare i castelli in zona. E' dotato di parcheggio. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. Abbiamo apprezzato il bistrot dove abbiamo sempre cenato. Il prezzo del piatto unico è di euro 15,90, il menù è un po' limitato (6/7 scelte) ma le porzioni sono abbondanti e servite accompagnate da insalata e patatine fritte. Il prezzo delle bevande corretto. Il personale è gentile. L'hotel ha un piccolo giardino interno dove la sera si può bere qualcosa e riposarsi dopo una giornata in giro. Lo consigliamo sia per la posizione, sia per la completezza dei servizi e per la gentilezza del personale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Tours è molto carina e i castelli della Loira (abbiamo visitato 8 castelli) veramente belli, la campagna della Touraine rilassante e poco trafficata. Una bella vacanza!

Very good location being a 15 minute walk into the historic centre of Tours. Underground Parking (10€) was very useful but be careful trying to get a jeep in. Good Breakfast Reception staff friendly and spoke good English Realistic price for December. Some parts of the hotel cold do with a refurb or tidy up but i would go back for the location and parking.

Excellent accueil de la part du réceptionniste qui a vraiment le sens du service et qui est efficace dans ses conseils de visites. La chambre familiale est correcte malgré un prix sur *********** nettement plus élevé que celui annoncé à l’entrée de l’hôtel. Prix du petit-déjeuner élevé, on donc préféré se restaurer en ville. Bonne situation géographique, proche du centre et des établissements de restauration mais suffisamment éloigné pour stationner le véhicule sans avoir à payer à l’horodateur. Il faut compter sur la chance de trouver une place dans les rues adjacentes.

Idéalement situé proche de la gare et du centre ville, dans une rue calme proche des commerces, cet endroit regroupe une résidence étudiante et une partie résidence d'affaires ou de court séjour. Accueil souriant et convivial, bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. Par contre, chambre sale, mal entretenue, manquait pas mal d'ustensiles de cuisine et enfin, douche avec rideau plastique, peu propice aux règles d'hygiène actuelles.

Nice comfortable modern hotel, very good breakfast, bacon and scrambled eggs were excellent, but there is a large choice of fruits/pastrys/cold meats and cheeses. Staff we spoke to were nice, rooms were clean and comfortable, Wifi was awful on the second floor and the reception staff were unwilling to help, but I believe it was okay on other floors. Great location, nect to station, and convenient for the town centre, and lots of nice bars and restaurants.
