We stayed at the Urban Hotel prior to going on a cruise. The hotel was in an excellent location. Walking distance to the cruise terminal and train station. Our room was modern and clean. We were on the the fourth floor. Our room was very quiet. We could hear the church bells in the distance. The town square was a hop, skip and jump away. Perfect location. We would definitely stay again. The hotel had an amazing buffet breakfast. So many choices.

We got to the hotel at 10 pm and we got our room like at 11. The air conditioner wasn't working. We asked the hotel people to turn it on, but they said we don't need it. We went to the room and it was hot, they turned the ac but it wasn't working. A male receptionist was really nice and helped us. He brought us a fun. I would like fron TRIP more than 5 coins. We just can sleep from 1 to 8 and we paid 168 plus taxes.

Perkhidmatan bilik yang sangat baik, Lokasi yang menghadap matahari terbenam adalah tinggi. Tetapi hotel ini adalah sarang. Hotel yang selesa tetapi tidak peribadi.

I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!

Excellent location, staff very professional, and an amazing breakfast. Easy to tote our luggage to the cruise ship (about a 5 minute walk). Excellent apertivo just outside the hotel door. One night we were having apertivo and I just wanted something more. I order a gnocchi from their restaurant. I never had gnocchi with a meat sauce and it was excellent. Lots of shops and eating places. Would stay there again.

Hotel accogliente fuori dal centro storico : ottima pulizia , personale disponibile , luogo silenzioso. Ottima la colazione , prezzi in linea con i concorrenti . E’possibile raggiungere il centro sia con il bus che in auto dato che l’hotel si trova nel quartiere residenziale di S.Vito

1) Front desk stuff was not helpful at all!!! 2) Access to the hotel’s lobby is only by stairs and all stuff was trying to pretend there were busy not to help at all. Luckily, we had only small suitcases, so that was not a problem for us, but still for this level of hotel I would expect welcome service in front of the hotel and not at the front desk. 3) I would not recommend “Historical One Bedroom King Suite” - it looks like the room had been plundered long time ago. There were literally no decorations whatsoever, be it old or new

Para comenzar mi reseña quiero aclarar que soy una estudiante de 21 años, acostumbrada a hacer viajes MUY LOW COST, no suelo elegir hoteles y me conformo con poco. Por otro lado, por circunstancias iba a viajar con una amiga y acabé yendo sola. El desayuno era completo y variado, la repostería estaba muy rica y tienen bebidas vegetales, es lo que más me gustó de mi estancia. Las trabajadoras de recepción me han tratado muy bien. He podido comunicarme en inglés con todas, me han atendido cuando lo he necesitado, son muy profesionales. Cuando pedí comida para llevar la recogieron, me avisaron y me ofrecieron dejarme un tenedor. fue una grata sorpresa que en mi habitación (Habitación doble con vistas parciales al mar), la 111, tuviese dos camas de un ancho de 90 cm juntas. Al reservarlo ponía que la cama tendría un ancho comprendido entre 135 y 150 cm. Las ”amenities” estaban muy bien, a mí me dieron botes de 32 cl de gel, champú y crema corporal, había un dispensador de jabón de manos en el lavabo, gorro de ducha, bastoncillos, lima de uñas y algodón, kit de costura, sobre de jabón de higiene íntima, vasos desechables y un bolígrafo. La calefacción hacía un poco de ruido, aconsejo que si no saben cómo funciona el regulador de temperatura y los distintos botos que hay, pregunten a los trabajadores. Las cortinas no dejaban la habitación en completa oscuridad, así que si sois españoles acostumbrados a las persianas y sois sensibles a la luz, podríais traer un antifaz. El único punto negativo es que cuando haciendo el check out le dije que una bolsa de silicona reutilizable había desaparecido se limitó a disculp**** educadamente, en lugar de ofrecerme una compensación por haber tirado a la basura mi propiedad.

Lovely hotel - very nicely located. We checked in after hours - they sent the instructions via email and text so it couldn’t have been any easier. the apartment was spacious and clean - we were only there for a night before our cruise but I would love to come back to this little town and stay here much longer. Highly recommend- the front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Collocato all ultimo piano di un palazzo in centro a Trieste. Reception cortese e attenta. Atmosfera ricca di libri e di quadri Si dorme in camere ampie , arredate con gusto particolare, precedute da un bel salotto con angolo cucina ben organizzato. Molti bar vicini per la colazione, oppure si può organizzare utilizzando la cucinetta interna. Parcheggio vicino o in alternativa un comodo servizio di car valet.
