Taj Lake Palace Udaipur

Right in the middle of lake with beautifully decorated rooms with marble. Big lavish bathroom with huge tub and shower. We were upgraded to historical heritage suit with attractive lake facing royal sitting arrangement.common areas were befitting to a palace and the staff was highly trained. At night lobby level verandah as well as terraces just gave extraordinary view of the lake and building of the city.food was just superb.only shortcoming was that the AC was not adjusted enough for low temperature and it is a shame for such beautiful high cost hotel that we were advised to keep the fan on.

長年憧れていたホテルに、やっと宿泊する事ができました。 想像以上に素晴らしいホテルでした。 歴史ある建物、メンテナンス、清掃も行き届いていて全てが美しく、ホスピタリティーも素晴らしく思い出に残る旅になりました。

We visited Taj Lake Palace for my kid’s first birthday. Considering the special occasion they gave us a generous upgrade from the Palace Room we booked to Grand Royal Suite. The decoration in the room and the extra efforts put together by the team before our arrival made it extra special for us. Our room and the hotel The room overlooked the lake palace and in its original construction would have a private access to the swimming pool (which is now sealed though). Massive room for a hotel which otherwise is smaller in structure being a property in the centre of the lake. As for the hotel, it occupies an envious spot in the middle of the lake and is a crown jewel among Udaipur hotels. We had the privilege of admiring different views of it in 2017 during our first visit to the city and its indeed a dream come true to celebrate our kid’s big day here. Property is very well maintained and you would notice the staff constantly ensuring hygiene, which is an essential considering the number of birds they attract. There are multiple spots from where you could click pictures of a lifetime and we did just that, even almost missing our flight back home in the process. Service The staff were kind and very hospitable. They do not have a very large service team and its only fair considering the property size. There were a few slips, but for the overall kindness extended during our stay, it would be unfair on my part to mention them. Pricing Luxury comes with a tag and this one surely does. But the room upgrade made the price paid worth every extra bit for us. Food Breakfast was largely order based from the chef specials and a minimalistic buffet with juices, cheese, desserts and fruits. The kheema pav and chole bhature were mind-blowing. In summary, an extremely memorable stay and a big tick to our wishlist.

It's a beautiful property, very well maintained, with all amenities and sumptuous food. The property has a beautiful view, variety of dining options. It's great to hear birds chirp and the night view of the lake is breathtaking. Must visit.

Taj working team member are excellent. Food is great. Asra from front desk, and Tinni and vaibhav from restaurent are very well behaved attentive, i am missing these guys mire than property. Property needs attension, i hope if you will find some passionate professional, they can do much better than present. Jetty staff is also very Good. Thanks and Regards

The stay was fantastic! From reaching the hotel on a boat to the welcome, to the rooms, the food, the service everything was top notch. Each and every member of the team of taj lake palace deserves a round of applause. They always greeted us with a smile all the way from breakfast to dinner which is truly marvelous. A few people who I would like to extend a special thanks for making our experience even more memorable - Naman & Kunal from the front desk team - Mahander from housekeeping - Apurba, Yuvraj, Pradeep, Naren and Alona from the Food and Beverage team and Arun the boat driver. Each and every one of them went beyond their scope of operation to make us feel even more special. We truly hope taj knows how fabulous their staff is and does it's best to retain them. It was an absolute delight to stay at this marvelous hotel. Looking forward to coming here again some day ＜3
