This was perfectly adequate for my one night stay prior to a cruise. The location is easily accessible from the train from the airport and less than a mile from the cruise terminal. It is no frills but clean. I had a shared bathroom which was a concern but it was fine. You share the bathroom with another room and you will hear them in there but, again, it was one night. There was a sink in the room which was good as you didn't need the bathroom for basic teeth brushing, etc. If I was doing an overnight in Vancouver again, I'd go back.

I phoned ahead when booking my stay to ensure there was a hot tub. The agent o the phone said there was but failed to mention it was being repaired and was not available for use during my stay. Why else would I ask? When I was I the room I called down to find out where the hot tub was located and they told me where it was but still failed to mention that it was under maintenance. It wasn't until I wasted my time going to the 3rd floor to use it that I found out when I got there that it was out of service. If I had known this, I would have booked elsewhere this information should have been updated to the booking agencies and on their online bookings. The breakfast could definitely be better, under cooked sausage patties is not appealing. Otherwise, the rooms are nice and clean and the coffee is good.

The hotel is in a inconvenient location. To get there without a car, you have to go to Aberdeen Station and transfer by 610 Bus. The most important thing is, the bus never arrives on time. So just grab an uber. Other than that, everything is pefect. Frequent shuttle to airport.

Thank you for the opportunity to describe my Inn at the Quay experience. I was booked for a day procedure at Royal Columbian Hospital at 6:00AM on Saturday May 20. Because I was travelling from out of town and had to be driven home (as a requirement of the procedure) I elected to travel by train to Vancouver and then New Westminster on the day before, Friday. On Tuesday May 16 I booked a room at your hotel for the night of the night of Friday May 19 for $389.00 ex-taxes. My plan was to take a cab to the Hospital and then my daughter was then going to drive to town to pick me up and drive me home after the procedure on Saturday. After travelling to New Westminster I had time to kill because I called the Inn at the Quay to see if I could get an early check in but was told that you were very busy and that was not possible. The hospital recommends attending with only your care card for security reasons. For this reason I had my BC Care Card and the credit card I used to book the room in my cellular phone case. During my wanders I lost my phone. Fortunately I had a significant amount of cash so I got a cab immediately and attended at your hotel. I explained my situation to the clerk on the desk and she said that she could not check me in without the credit card I used to book the room. I asked her if you would charge that card with the room price if I had not shown up and she agreed that that was the case. When I asked if she could just charge the card and let me stay she said that the situation was different and was against your policy. I questioned her further and she summoned a person form the back office who agreed that the situation was completely different and actually said “Sorry, we can’t help you.” When I suggested cancelling the credit card transaction and paying in cash that suggestion was also turned down. Reason was lost on these two minions that are trained to be slavishly obedient to your rules and policies. I am sure that if you question these two they will agree that I was polite and courteous throughout our encounter. After several attempts at circumventing their indifference I felt that I should leave before I started to get mad. As a competent, attentive and businesslike hotelier I am sure you are aware of the saturation in your market on any given day. If you harken back to May 19 you will recall that all of the other hotels in New Westminster and as far as Port Coquitlam were completely booked. No matter, I was able to avail myself of a comfortable chair in the admitting lobby of the Royal Columbian Hospital from 4:00PM on Friday until 6:00AM the following morning. Except of course when I had to leave the admitting lobby while the janitors polished the floors. Because the Emergency Room lobby was full I was able to meet some of the interesting local street residents that were outside at 2:30AM. Fantastic hotel. Very convenient as we were going on the Princess Cruise. The concierge, front office and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Hyatt was amazing with great service from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to leave our luggage while we waited for our room so we could explore the city. They were wonderful and cleaning our dirty towels and changing beds each day, the outdoor pool and hot tub were a welcome site after long days of walking. The only downside was the lack of restaurant access. 1 restaurant is barely open and the other is so high priced and doesn't deliver to your room. Thankfully Skip the Dishes was an option. Starbucks right in the lobby, can't go wrong with that!!

Our stay was only for one night before taking an international flight. The hotel was an amazing place to get a good rest before travel. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with an incredible bathroom. There are many restaurants nearby and the local night market and outlet mall are within walking distance. The airport is just a quick 5 minute drive from the front doors. We highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay before travel.

We were in town to attend a family birthday which did not include dinner so I chose this hotel because i wanted to go to the iconic Tiki Bar. Upon checking in we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room with mostly original decor still being used that gave it the iconic vibe. When we decided it was time to eat we found out from the desk girl that all the eating establishments at the hotel were closed for renovation. This should have been divulged at the time I booked; it is important information as there is no places close by to eat & the price of the room was not discounted to reflect the lack of facilities. We were also concerned about the safety of our vehicle but everything was fine & we were surprised how quiet it’s was (we were facing the rear parking area). The bed was comfy & we slept well.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Burnaby location in order to attend a dinner function nearby. We checked into our room and the heater was already on and set at 68 and seemed to be working OK. Shortly after we arrived in the room, a maintenance person knocked on the door to see how the heater was working. That should have clued us in as to what would happen next. A bit later, the unit started to spit out cooler air. I might add that the unit never cycled off and on as it should. I turned the unit up to around 72 to see if that would make a difference but no it did not. We contacted the front desk and within 5 minutes, maintenance came to check. We were told that the heater had to remain at 68, no higher or it wouldn’t work. I have never heard of such a thing. High temperature in Vancouver was mid 40's dipping into the 30's at night. By this time, it was 5:30 and we had to head out the door for the dinner event at 6PM. I wish we would have demanded a different room, because when we returned it was definitely cooler in the room. We were both tired and needed to leave the hotel early in the morning so we decided to “gut it out”. I looked for additional blankets and there were none. I wound up sleeping a total of 2 hours in my coat. This was not a comfortable experience.  I am generously giving this property 2 stars as the room itself was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk clerk kindly gave us a 50% discount for our discomfort which was the best she could do, but when I contacted their HQ was offered a 50% discount off a future stay. Don't think I will take them up on that offer, but thanks anyway.

Walaupun biliknya tidak besar! Tetapi sangat bersih! Katil juga sangat selesa! Kemudahan dalaman juga bagus! Terdapat gim dan kolam renang! Namun, kolam renangnya tidaklah besar, jadi ia hanya boleh dimainkan secara ringkas! Bufet sarapan pagi juga ok!
