We recently stayed in this hotel for six nights. We chose to upgrade to a Prestige room, room 212. It was at the front side of the hotel. The hotel is located on a very busy road and roundabout. One of the noisiest rooms that I have even stayed in. Even with the windows closed you could hear the traffic outside. You also had the seagulls with their non stop squawking from early morning. The first thing that struck me about this hotel was the lack of colour other than brown. Our bedroom had beige walls with dark brown floor boards, doors, furniture. Depressing. The extra space we had in our Prestige room was provided by a dormer style feature that protruded from the side of the building. It was a cave like feature. It had a chair, table and sofa in this space. We had what looked like a new bathroom. Very modern. Unfortunately it had a frosted glass door facing out in to the room. The shower was an excellent size, with plenty of hot water. Lovely fluffy towels. I have to say that the housekeeping was excellent. Our room was spotless. We had a coffee machine in the room with plenty of coffee provided. My wife drinks coffee, I don't. It would have been nice to have a few teas provided. On some days we were provided with two 500 ml bottles of water, on other days nothing. Shampoos, etc. were provided. Air Conditioning in the room was excellent. T.V. had no English channels. Linens very good. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. It would be useful if there was a small hand basin to wash your hands. You have to move to the bathroom to do this. We were only provided with six hangers in total in the wardrobe. Not enough, especially when you are staying for 6 nights. Staff were very pleasant. Check in was fast and efficient. It was a short walk to the old town of Vannes. The footpaths surrounding the hotel were very poor. Breakfasts were basic. The hot offering was scrambled eggs and bacon. The scrambled eggs were almost liquid like, every day. Bread selection was poor. two types of sweet bread for toasting, a brown bread offering and a portion of roll. you had the usual yogurt, cereals, fruit, hams, jams and cheese. All right for one night but we couldn't face in to this every day. So we didn't. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
