After being recommended to stay at this “hotel” for a course we were doing, it was a nightmare from day one. We were in a 4 bed apartment and hot water wouldn’t work for more than 15 minutes so that meant some of us were having cold showers everyday. Especially when they’d fix it at night but it was freezing again by the morning and we didn’t have time to get them to sort it as this took around an hour of our time. Despite telling them EVERYDAY that our hot water wasn’t working and the boiling was broke, it took them 6 days into our 10 night stay to do something. Everytime we would plead them to fix it or move us apartments, they lied and told us that the hotel was fully booked and would just tell us to turn the boiler on and off. The hob in our apartment barely worked, everything was dirty and smelt like a nursing home, no washing machine, mouldy dirty showers and limescale on the shower head so thick that it wouldn’t even work properly. The microwave sparked at the plug and needed to be changed, the bedsheets smelt dirty and the shutters kept jamming. On day 6 they moved us to a smaller apartment, despite paying for more and didn’t apologise or offer any compensation. When we arrived, the showers still weren’t in the best condition and the kitchen was barely supplied with any utensils to cook and then the balcony door jammed shut. When we called reception, he said they couldn’t do anything for a couple of hours despite us having washing our there and wanting to use the balcony to enjoy the sun. He then barged in 10 minutes later, not saying anything and pulling at the doors then proceeded to climb through the window to get to the balcony. We’ve constantly had to change our plans to wait whilst the staff at the hotel messed with the broken things and not know how to fix it. There was no proper engineering staff and we didn’t see any cleaners working whilst we were here. The one time our apartment was cleaned, they didn’t leave any toilet roll and left one of the rooms completely uncleaned. The staff haven’t apologised once for any of these issues, if anything they make you feel like an annoyance when they should just get their hotel sorted. It’s dirty, it’s old and it’s been a nightmare. It also looks NOTHING like the photos. It’s overpriced and promising an experience that doesn’t exist. Save your money, the hostel would probably be nicer.

Posticino super grazioso, immerso nella campagna e a conduzione familiare. Le camere sono pulite, ordinate e arredate con gusto. Colazione ottima, con un vasto assortimento di prodotti fatti in casa (torte, biscotti, marmellate, ...). Assolutamente da sottolineare la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Gemma, la proprietaria, anche per chiedere consigli su dove mangiare o su come spostarsi nel territorio. Assolutamente da ritornare! Questa volta magari ci fermeremo qualche giorno in più!😉

Very spacious and clean room, a hidden bar in the basement, a quiet herb garden and all of it a stonr's throw from the city center of Verona. The reception was warm, friendly and efficient and the overall look and feel of the hotel merits a mention as well as does the service by the staff. Would stay and recommend this lovely b&b again!

Consigliato da amici di Verona, io e la mia amica che viaggiava con me abbiamo trovato la sistemazione PERFETTA! Eravamo a Verona per un concerto, e devo dire che non potevamo trovare di meglio. Perfetto per raggiungere l'Arena a piedi in un quarto d'ora, e anche, ovviamente, il centro città. L'ostello è collegato alla stazione del treno con autobus a tutti i minuti, anche di notte. Una comodità incredibile. Per quanto riguarda la struttura, solo pregi. Pulitissimo, silenzioso, comodo, ben curato e arredato. Abituati agli ostelli stranieri, io e la mia amica ci siamo trovati come a casa. Personale gentile, disponibile, sempre pronto ad ogni richiesta. Cucina piccola ma efficiente, ”shared food” e ”free food”, abbiamo fatto anche un'ottima colazione. Nelle camere aria condizionata, bagno con doccia in camera, armadietti con chiave. Sicuramente da tenere in considerazione. Ritorneremo al prossimo concerto!
