Cari Hotel 2-Star di Rom

Fantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer. But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here. What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella. Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc. But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry! Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.

非常nice的居住地段，出行方便；雖為單人間，衞生間足夠大，房間層高足夠（看空調安裝位置預估至少🉐3.2m+），兩層窗和窗簾很喜歡，更喜歡窗外的風景；唯一不足的是電梯，check in時能到4F；次日check out變成4F 不能用，衹能自提行李到3F再進電梯

Jo&Joe Roma was just as I hoped it would be. We are an older family and I wanted to share with my adult kids the place as I thought it would be a great place for them to experience and without a doubt it was everything we wanted. I’m sure we will all be back.  Location excellent, breakfast yum, rooms very clean. Atmosphere awesome!  Staff were so helpful, friendly and supportive with any questions we had. They were even able to support my Coeliac disease with the breakfast in the morning. ❤️ The room was superb. We stayed in a double room, The room's layout was strange, completely different from the photos; the bed was in the centre of the room, there are also a single bed which located next to the desk. The door couldn't be locked inside. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that no one would enter our room. However, the bathroom is being tidied every day, which is quite different to what the front desk said. The room wasn't dirty, but the bathroom was quite filthy, with grime and hair.

Close to everything! Has a few stairs, good spacious rooms very friendly and helpful staff! Try to avoid the ones that have window on to the street as the trams make a bit of noise, but I certainly will use it again! And trip is cheaper than booking and a lot more helpful if you have a problem

This was an incredibly wonderful hotel. You could get coffee, and there was a kitchen just 10 minutes from the Colosseum. The service was perfect, and we were able to help you choose restaurants and attractions. We were fully responsive and answered any questions. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel.

Pros: • Pool. • Breakfast cafe served amazing croissants and hot chocolate. • Pool bar staff were wonderful and friendly. • Mini market. • Shuttle that takes you to Cipro. • Many staff members speak amazing english we hardly used Italian. Cons: • Not very close to the main city centre, everywhere we wanted to go was a 2 hour+ round trip, regardless of the shuttle taking you to the Vatican - every other landmark was a long way away. • Pool bar food was awful and not fresh. • Very thin walls. • Toilet seat wobbled. • Very small selection for buffet. • Had trouble opening our windows.

From the moment we arrived at Fabulous Village in Rome, we were genuinely impressed. As soon as you enter the property, you are welcomed by extremely professional, respectful, and friendly security staff. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the reception team was very helpful. They took the time to explain all the facilities available and even shared how magical and dream-like the place becomes during the summer months which honestly made us want to come back again! We were assigned House **147**, and I must say, it completely exceeded our expectations. For the very reasonable and justified price we paid, what we got was unbelievable. The accommodation included **three bunk beds and one double bed**, which was perfect and very spacious. The kitchen was decent and well-equipped with everything you might need, the toilet was clean and well-maintained, and the additional heating was fantastic especially appreciated during cooler weather. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the stay and felt the value for money was outstanding. That said, there is **one area that really needs improvement**, and I’m confident we are not the only guests who’ve faced this issue: the **laundry service**. While it’s good that laundry facilities are available, they are **painfully expensive** (€5 for 30 minutes of washing and €4.50 for 35 minutes of drying), and unfortunately, the instructions are very unclear and difficult to follow. Because of this lack of guidance, it’s very easy to make a mistake — and if you do, the machine simply resets, keeps your money, and does not return it. In our case, we put our clothes in the machine, paid €5 for the wash, and it started correctly. Due to the unclear instructions, we assumed we needed to insert the €4.50 in advance so that the dryer would start automatically after washing. We did so but the machine did nothing and still took our money. When we went to reception, only security was available (it was 23:38), and they informed us that nothing could be done until morning. Unfortunately, we had to check out before 06:00, so we never got our €4.50 back. Aside from this laundry issue, everything else about Fabulous Village was excellent from the staff and accommodation to the overall atmosphere. With clearer instructions and better handling of laundry-related issues, this place would easily be close to perfect. **Highly recommended**, and I would absolutely stay here again — hopefully next time in summer! 🌞✨

considering the price, the hotel is not that bad. Great location just few times walk to the Colosseum. Even the electric fan is not working but you can bring your own fan. The cleanliness of the bed sheet and a pillow is not that bad. There’s one shower room and toilet so you have to wait. there is pantry also so you can cook your food. If you want to stay here for many days and save the budget, I recommend this hotel

The location is great if you are needing to be near the train station or not as it is a lively and busy area with many wonderful historical places and a variety of very good food choices all within walking distance. The staff were all very kind and the room was comfortable and had everything I needed including a fan and an air conditioner and a very good small refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.
