The hotel was conveniently located 5-min from Termini train station and the FCO airport shuttle bus and hop on hop off bus stops just across. We stayed 2 times during our 2 week stay in Rome - over night stay before heading down to Civitavecchia Port for MSC cruise and 4 night stay upon return from the cruise ship. We used the hotel storage service for one of our luggage bags for a week during our 7-day cruise. The hotel staffs were friendly.

Located in the middle of tourist spots in Rome, but awful service. Firstly, when you enter the hotel with all the lagugage, there are many steps which make it difficult to carry your stuff. The room was very small, I wanted to heat up my food, they said the microwave doesn't work or exist 🙄🙄🙄🙄the worst part was breakfast only hot thing on the menue was scrambled eggs ham, which were both tasteless 😳😳watermelon was the only available fruit, which most days they brought lame excuses why they can't have it, 🤔🤔🤔the juice was powder mixed with water 🤔🙄😱, the cakes and cheese were entirely tasteless, mainly factory packaging, not homemade, for a hotel with this price, the breakfast is awful 😣😣😣

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Hotel ISA for 12 nights, and couldn't have picked a better location. It was in walking distance to many of the sights, and convenient to the Metro. The breakfast on the terrace was wonderful with a great view and variety of food. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was not on yet (which we found out is normal for Europe this time of year), and we requested a fan for our room. Within an hour or 2 they had delivered a floor fan which was a big help sleeping at night. The room was also equipped with soundproof widows. There are also many restaurants and gelato places near by for convenience. I would like to thank the staff for making our stay great, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

L’ApartHotelColombo, ristrutturato di recente, è perfetto per chi si trova a Roma per motivi di lavoro in zona Colombo/circonvallazione ostiense/Garbatella. Le camere sono tutte molto grandi (anche le standard), molto silenziose, con letti comodissimi, molto funzionali, luminose, con smart tv gigante, acqua di cortesia, macchina del caffè con cialde, pavimento in legno, bagno e doccia molto grandi, temperatura perfetta. Buona e abbondante la colazione, le ragazze della reception (in particolare Maria) gentilissime, sorridenti e sempre disponibili ad aiutarti. Le tariffe sono alte, ma se siete lì per motivi di lavoro e garantite una presenza fissa per un tot. periodo potete concordare dei prezzi molto competitivi! Unica pecca, la pulizia della camera e le condizioni degli asciugamani, che per un hotel a 4 stelle potrebbero/dovrebbero essere decisamente migliori. Alla prossima!

My second stay at UVisionary, the first time was in January.
I did have a problem with this fridge which wasn't cooling and the tv remote not working but it was fixed very quickly. There we no wine glasses in my room.
Everyone was lovely and I will stay again, the location is the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Art Hotel. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and our request for our two rooms to be near each other was accommodated. The rooms were very comfortable and everything we needed was available. The breakfast choice was vast and very fresh. One annoyance: the restaurant chairs are very big and heavy; great for couples sitting at a table, but not brilliant for three or more people! The location of the hotel was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere during our four night stay, with a great choice of restaurants, cafes and wine bars only a few minutes walk away. I don't often like to visit the same hotel twice, but if returning to Rome, would certainly book Art Hotel.

The Hotel has a nice look. It's colorfull and bright. They organise free tours for their guests and I think that this is simply amazing! I am glad that I did not prebook things in advance so I had the opportunity to follow Virgilio the tour guide. I can't believe the tours are all free. They also have others hotels in Rome with rooftop terraces where you can go and enjoy a cocktail with a spettacular view

PPengguna TetamuI cannot recommend this hotel enough! I visited with my 14-year old daughter last month, with 5 nights in Rome at the beginning and 2 nights at the end. Based on reviews, price, and location, I booked this hotel -- we could not have been happier. Our room was spotless during both of our stays, as were the common areas, restaurant, etc. The hotel is perfectly located -- right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything -- Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon all a 5-10 minute walk. Whenever we needed a taxi (e.g. early morning tours that were a 25 min walk away), the front desk staff (Lyuba, Davide, Iustin) were helpful and the taxi was never more than a 4 minute wait (more about staff below). The hotel is on a road with restaurants, a few small supermarkets, a wonderful local pasticceria, and a 4-5 minute walk from Piazza Navona -- a beautiful, huge piazza with stunning fountains, surrounded by endless restaurants and bars. There's a pharmacy right off the piazza if you need anything -- I used it to get COVID tested to be able to fly home. It was fast, easy, and reliable.
The hotel breakfasts were fantastic - typical European breakfast with meats + cheeses, yogurts / cereals / berries, all kinds of coffee drinks, breads / rolls / croissants, warm foods (e.g. quiche, sauteed spinach, eggs, etc.), and endless baked goods. The staff wore masks at all times, and most guests wore masks while up and about at the buffet, taking them off while seated. The tables were set beautifully and the entire area was spotless -- it was easy to see how hard the dining room staff worked.
The rooms were great -- extremely comfortable beds, terrific linens, wonderful shower, all modern and new. Be aware, even with the window closed and on a higher floor, on the front side of the hotel the street below is busy and there's a restaurant / bar with outdoor seating in front of the hotel -- if you're a light sleeper, you'll hear sounds (people + traffic) late into the night. My daughter didn't notice at all -- I heard it all night. Our room during the beginning of our stay was on the rear of the buidling, opening into a small courtyard -- it was lovely, quiet, airy, and had a wonderful balcony (4th Floor). If you can get one of those rooms, I highly recommend it.
The front desk staff: ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. As a mom traveling alone with a young teenage daughter during COVID and the instability in eastern Europe, I had concerns before traveling. Lyuba, Davide, and Iustin were attentive, helpful, accommodating, and informative. Whether it was checking us in early when we first arrived from the airport, arranging taxis, storing our luggage while we traveled to Florence, or helping figure out COVID testing to return home, they were on point, efficient, and kind. The afternoon before our flight home, I realized that the Rome Marathon was scheduled for the following day. They helped me trouble shoot while I was out with my daughter, trying to be present with her while simultaneously communicating with them via WhatsApp to figure out how to get to the airport the next morning. Requesting a taxi 1/2 hour before heading to the airport would have been disasterous, as they were closing all the roads, and no taxis would have been available. The staff arranged a private driver (worth the cost) and were in close contact with him and his dispatcher to make sure we were all apprised of which roads were closed. My daughter and I did have to walk 10 minutes to the river with our suitcases and cross to the other side, as all local roads had been closed, but it was actually a piece of cake. Our driver was waiting for us exactly where the hotel staff said he would be, and from there it was easy getting to the airport. If the staff hadn't been responsive and seriously on top of it, we would not have made it to the airport that day.

PPengguna Tetamu Where I stay when traveling is as important to me as where I am going. That is the difference between being a tourist and a traveler. When I travel, I search out family run bed & breakfasts and or small boutique hotels. Why? The people. People make the difference. On this trip to Rome, I was traveling with my father. I was looking for a small boutique hotel in a quiet location but a location from which all of Rome is easily accessible by walking. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect property than Hotel Monte Cenci. Located on the Via Beatrice Cenci, a quiet location just one block from the Tiber River, and surrounded by gorgeous buildings with window boxes spilling over with geraniums, the Hotel Monte Cenci is a livable work of art. Designed in a historic palazzo this 30-room hotel feels more like a stay in a beautiful private home. Entering from Via Beatrice notice the two story marble lobby flanked by book cases which run the length of the lobby behind the reception desk. You will be greeted as though you are a long friend coming home for a visit. At the south end of the lobby is a magnificent 2 story window that allows light from the lobby to flood into the hotel bar. Just a few steps down from the lobby is a reception room and access to either the elevator to your room or use the stairs. We utilized the stairs. The bedrooms are generous in size with plush bedding, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms (some bathrooms have marble sink tops from historic hotel in Rome), casement triple glazed windows with views onto the surrounding buildings and streets in this quiet enclave. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. In the afternoon the terrace with its lush plantings and awnings is a great place to escape for a quick nap or down time reading a book-also great in the evenings for a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz. The location is perfect. Every attraction is walkable and the best way, and only way in my opinion, to see Rome is to walk. Rome is an open-air museum full of art and architecture and history. Stroll down streets, take the alley way, follow the delicious scents, and discover a small neighborhood osteria or bar. Shop the shops away from the large tourist attractions. Discover a fountain in a piazza and take the time to see Rome, truly see Rome. The beauty of staying in a small boutique hotel is that the people at the hotel will also share with you their favorite places to eat, shop, sip and walk and share historical tidbits. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the people at the Hotel Monte Cenci are. They are kind, informative, helpful, funny, welcoming and feel like family. Whether first thing in the morning or late in the evening I looked forward to every interaction with all members of the staff. They make you feel as though you are a family member visiting. PPhil D JonesA fantastic location. In walking distance of the Trevi fountain and the colosseum. Also very close to a nice selection of restaurants and convenience shops. The WiFi was ok. It sometimes very briefly dropped out. The shower was a bit weird as it would cycle through cold, warm, and hot. The A/c was ok. We had it on 19 and it kept the room an ok temperature. In Rome A/C in hotels is often bad so this was probably better than most. The staff were excellent! Often hotel staff in Rome can be a bit sullen and not so helpful but the staff at the Hive were excellent and very helpful. They gave us a late checkout as we needed time before our flight. The restaurant on the roof is gourmet so it is more expensive than other restaurants nearby BUT you get some beautiful food. If you ask at reception they may have a 20% discount voucher for hotel guests.

PPengguna TetamuIt was pretty good stay overall. It was a decent sized standard sized room. The bathroom was a really good size as well. What impressed me the most was how immaculately clean it was from the minute I checked in thru the duration of the stay. They cleaned the room daily and left a bottle of water when I first checked in which was nice. The staff is nice and friendly for the most part. The breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. It’s quite varied and a great selection. As far as location, it’s not terrible but not great. It’s a 13 min walk to the metro. However there is a bus around the corner about 2 blocks where it takes 20-30 min into center of town with all major sites. If you’re looking for a stay away from the tourist sites and peaceful then this place is perfect. There are some restaurants and bars in the area that are good. The only thing I was disappointed in was with an issue I was having with a restaurant reservation. I asked the staff to see if they could contact the restaurant to double check on a reservation I made prior. The date was not available on the email I sent. It seemed like the staff was bothered by the request. Just for the record I normally handle these issues myself but it would be a costly call with my phone plan. And I figured since on the website they do state that they help with these types of things I didn’t think it was such a bothersome request. But that was the feeling I was getting back from them. Also I tried making the call from the room but they don’t allow any local calls. Other than that I would not let that minor issue overshadow my stay. I enjoyed the hotel overall.

PPengguna TetamuWir haben letztes Jahr im Oktober unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. 5 Nächte Superior Doppelzimmer. Bei Ankunft im Mai diesen Jahres erhielten wir den Zimmerschlüssel und bekamen ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit alter Ausstattung. Bei Nachfrage ob dies das Superior DZ wäre sagte man mir, nein, es ist ein Standart Zimmer. Das Hotel wäre leider ausgebucht und könnte uns kein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie anbieten. Mir wurde als Entschädigung ein Discount von 50 Euro angeboten sowie ein anderes Zimmer ab dem nächsten Tag. Außerdem wurde angeboten das Gepäck in das neue Zimmer zu verbringen. (Gepäck wurde auf meine Nachfrage erst gesucht, aber lassen wir das) Das neue Zimmer war dann sogar ein geräumiges 3 Bett Zimmer. Die vorabendliche Reservierung für den nächsten Tag im Hotelrestaurant hat auch nicht funktioniert. Als wir zu Tisch wollten waren dann alle Tische belegt….. Beim auschecken wurde mir eine Rechnung über 5 Nächte Superior DZ vorgelegt. Nach Reklamation wurde der Discount von 50 € eingeräumt, aber Achtung, finde den Fehler! Standard DZ 170€, Superior DZ 220€, wir hatten eine Nacht Standard Zimmer und von dem berechneten Superior DZ wollte man 50 € abziehen. Ich soll für etwas bezahlen was ich nicht erhalten habe, bekomme dafür was ich nicht wollte zum regulären Preis. Dafür ist mein Ärger ja umsonst! Ich bekam noch den netten Hinweis das ich ja dann das größere 3 Bett Zimmer erhalten hätte (was ich nie gefordert habe) Ich bin ein gutmütiger Mensch und habe Verständnis wenn mal ein Fehler passiert, aber soviel Unvermögen ist mir in noch keinem Hotel unter gekommen und ich bin viel auf Reisen! Kein Hinweis auf ein Zimmer der niedrigeren Kategorie beim einchecken! Keine eigenständige Korrektur entsprechend der erhaltenen Räume beim auschecken!

DDe Bruyn - HendrickxWe stayed at the Hotel Ripa Roma for five nights. At first glance, a very well-kept hotel with a good ratio between price and quality. We were well served on arrival after midnight by the receptionist and were able to get to the room quickly. The last day we could check out until noon, but since our flight was in the evening, we could safely leave our luggage at the reception. A plus, because your last day in Rome can also be a nice one this way without luggage dragging.
The hotel has a very nice, contemporary and artistic look. We like this very much. The room (superior room) was very spacious, clean and with the necessary facilities. The bed was very good. The bathroom was very hygienic, logically arranged with a pleasant shower. About the room we certainly have no complaints. Only the noise from other rooms and the corridor was disturbing. When the guests in the neighboring room turned on their TV, we could perfectly listen in. When shouting in the hallway, it seemed that those persons were standing next to the bed. The rooms are not really soundproof. Fortunately, we had earplugs with us.
We also took breakfast during our stay. Here we are less satisfied. The tableware was dirty (coffee cups brown, cutlery with food residues, plates insufficiently cleaned, glasses full of calcium, ...), in our opinion a limited choice of healthy food (many cakes and cookies) and the hot dishes were cold, even when they were just served. We found the staff unhelpful, even a good morning or a friendly smile was sometimes too much. When we wanted to sit at a table on the small platform in the center of the restaurant, we were sent away because cleaning was already in progress (around 9:30 a.m.). The last two days the hotel was fully booked, which caused a lot of noise in the restaurant. We experienced this as unpleasant. Should we return, we would book a room without breakfast and find a nice breakfast place in town.
Finally, we find the city tax on the high side. For the five nights (six days) we pay €60 (= €5 p.p. per day). That is the highest city tax I have ever paid and we are frequent travelers.
Overall, a nice stay in a well located hotel, with the breakfast restaurant as a point of interest.

PPengguna TetamuAs part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad.
The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good.
The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!

It was a decent hotel, I'd say this is more of a premier Inn type of hotel, there's not much range when it comes to breakfast, bacon and eggs and mostly cake. It's quite far from Rome center so will need to get the metro, 15 minutes walk to the metro and then about 30 minutes on the metro to Rome center. I think getting charged £45 for tourist tax is ridiculous, especially being far out, with this extra money could have booked a hotel closer to Rome center.

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per due notti. Appena arrivati ci hanno sistemato in una casetta esterna alla struttura principale con circa 5/6 stanze. Abbiamo lasciato le valige velocemente per andare a cena, e solo al nostro ritorno abbiamo iniziato a notare delle cose che via via sono andate a peggiorare. Abbiamo richiesto un ferro da stiro, e ci è stato detto che non sapevano dove fosse e che avrebbero chiesto l'indomani alla signora delle pulizie. In vari hotel a 4 stelle il ferro da stiro è addirittura presente in camera! Rientrati in stanza, abbiamo iniziato a notare dettagli relativi alla pulizia e all'aspetto della stanza. Nella doccia erano presenti capelli, la tavoletta del gabinetto era totalmente ingiallita (costo su Amazon € 15 spedizione inclusa!), l'unica sedia presente in stanza aveva un cuscino bianco con delle macchie nere e la pellicola protettiva totalmente strappata. A parte delle abat jour presenti ai due lati del letto, non esisteva un punto luce sul soffitto. Il telecomando della TV era rattoppato con dello shock nero, e appena preso in mano lo shock si è tutto srotolato. Ma il bello è arrivato quando, richiedendo un quarto cuscino che ci è stato prontamente portato, ho notato che esternamente aveva un mega alone giallo a chiazze. Inorridita ho avuto la malsana e fortunatamente giusta idea di controllare anche gli altri tre cuscini... Due di questi erano pieni di macchie gialle all'interno, anche sui bordi, che fuoriuscivano dal lenzuolo!! Chiamato il ragazzo alla reception l'ho caldamente invitato di portarmi cuscini immacolati, data soprattutto la presenza di mio figlio di 3 anni, altrimenti davvero avremmo dormito senza! Se non avessimo anticipato il pagamento (struttura consigliata come seconda opzione per un matrimonio) ce ne saremmo andati all'istante. Ci servirà da lezione: chi chiede il pagamento anticipato non è un albergatore serio!!! Dopo vari minuti sono stati portati i cuscini, puliti, ma senza nemmeno una scusa e nemmeno una parola! Ulteriore tasto dolente: la colazione ... Una colazione del genere viene offerta forse in un albergo a due stelle! Arredamento della sala imbarazzante, colazione misera, senza opzioni sempre presenti in un 4 stelle come le uova o della frutta fresca, bevande calde da una macchinetta di pessima qualita', due scelte di succo annacquatissimi... Il top è la vaschetta degli affettati... Di plastica, con delle crepe al livello della maniglietta per sollevarla, storta.... Il mio bimbo che adora il prosciutto cotto ne ha mangiato una fetta, mi ha guardato e mi ha detto che non era buono... E aveva ragione! 4 stelle dove? Anche 3 stelle sarebbero regalate! L'unica cosa positiva che ho visto: la cameriera della sala colazione, da sola, che correva da una parte all'altra e lavorava come una matta e senza che le chiedessimo nulla ci ha portato la sedia in più per il bambino mettendoci in un punto con più spazio, dato appunto le dimensioni ridotte della stanza. Prima e ultima volta!
