My recent visit to the Semiramis Hotel in Athens was a blend of ups and downs, leaving me with a nuanced impression of this unique property. As a frequent traveler, I had specific expectations, and in many aspects, Semiramis delivered. Firstly, the hotel is located in an affluent suburban area, providing a peaceful respite from the bustling city center of Athens. This location adds an air of exclusivity and tranquility to your stay, which is always welcome. However, it's clear that the hotel could benefit from some upgrades, particularly when it comes to cleaning. The vibrant colors that once adorned the walls and furnishings have lost some of their luster, which a thorough cleaning might help revive. Additionally, the hallways were a bit on the darker side, lacking the brightness one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Despite these points of improvement, the overall experience was more than satisfactory. The staff were helpful and courteous, always eager to assist, making my stay comfortable. In summary, while Semiramis Hotel does require some tweaks to reach its full potential, its location and overall experience make it a property worth considering for future visits to Athens. We recently spent 3 nights at the Athens Life hotel. It is about a 30 min drive from central Athens and there are plenty of parking spaces right outside the hotel. We were given a warm welcome at Reception and our bags were taken to our room. The welcome note and marzipan were a lovely touch. Our room on the 3rd floor was large, clean and very well equipped. We found the low bed and surrounding ledge quite difficult to get in and out of, so do be mindful of this if you have a bad back etc. Some of the furniture/decor is a little tired, but it didn’t take anything away from our stay, especially given the reasonable price of the room. The air conditioning and WiFi were excellent. Our favourite part of the room was the balcony with stunning views over the mountains. We could have sat on it all day! We had a meal and cocktail in the restaurant, plus room service a couple of times and the food and service was fantastic. The hotel is incredibly peaceful and serene and definitely the place if you want to unwind. We barely saw any other guests our entire stay! A very enjoyable stay!

Let’s go in order: - Completely absent attention to the client. Staff is unprepared and bothered by anything you might ask them. - The carpets in the halls were filthy with multiple stains - The room was not clean, I found multiple hair on the chair close to the desk and on the towels in the bathroom as well as dust all around the room - I checked the bed and it was not dirty thankfully. Nevertheless it was incredibly uncomfortable and I could feel all the metal springs - I went to breakfast the first morning and the service was completely absent, no one greeted me in any way or asked what I wanted to drink for example (there are no coffee machines to make a cappuccino/tea/espresso/etc on your own so I would expect that someone asks me) - On the second day I went again for breakfast and took an orange juice from the dispenser; I saw something dark floating in the dispenser, but did not pay attention to it until I noticed it in my glass and took a closer look - it was a worm (!!!). I told the waitress and she came back to me sayin that it was a dark piece of apple (…) - I left it there because I did not want to discuss, but please check the pictures and let me know. Also, it was orange juice so not sure how the apple thingy ended up there. Overall I have no idea how they got 5 stars, but this place should just close. Everything about it was unacceptable and unprofessional. Do yourself a favour and never go to this place.

Just about acceptable if on a budget as room was clean, beds comfy, excellent coffee at breakfast, staff friendly and drinks cheap. BUT so many reasons that we would not stay again. Very dated miserable looking decor, bathroom got flooded when shower used, no english tv stations, air con very noisy and not very effective, nicotine smell all about (no non smoking rooms in the hotel), and no ‘atmosphere’. I was bemused to order a gin and tonic and be told they didn’t have a slice or of lemon to put in it. A basic hotel that felt a bit joyless, but I am still giving it 3 stars because for the low price, what do you expect ? ? If you are in a strict budget and you don’t expect anything at all fancy, its perfectly fine. But for us, next time we would pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

Ok so you're not going to stay at the Hotel Park because you want to have a nice holiday, but probably because you have business in the neighbourhood. The hotel seems to be frozen in time (early 80s) and is in dire need of a stylistic renovation. Breakfast is beyond basic: no real coffee, virtually nothing fresh. What's saving it from being two stars is that both hotel and rooms are VERY clean, which is almost unexpected considering the age of the design. The beds are also reasonably comfortable and fitted with duvets. Finally, the staff is friendly and welcoming. In a nutshell, I wouldn't necessarily seek to stay there, but if I had to do it again, I guess I would.

Aunque el metro tarde 40 min hasta la zona más proxima a la Acropolis. El desayuno escasito. Sin lujos. Mejor olvidar. Mi experiencia negativa la tuve con el peesonal del hotel. A la hora de preguntar por un transfer... Dependiendo de a quien preguntabas te decian un precio distinto. Y si aun preguntas, la respuesta fue de todo menos correcta. Volveria?? NO. A true 5 star stay at Hotel Say! We traveled to Kifisia with family for a reunion. Three generations. From my son and nephews to my 93 year old father, the entire staff was accommodating, kind and service oriented. Arrival - the front desk arranged a car service for arrival to Athens airport. Smooth travel transition and easy service. Check in - the front desk staff were incredible! 4 rooms. Early morning check in. They helped us transition from 2 rooms being ready at 10 am to all rooms available by 3 pm. It gave us all a chance to rest and shower. Thank you! Restaurant Noblis was a treat. George, Sotiri and Damitra were truly a joy and interacted with our family. The food was great. The service was impeccable and memorable. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and the location was perfect for visiting Kifisia! Very walkable to restaurant and shopping district. About 1 mile to the metro train station to get to Athens central or Piraeus. When coming back to Greece we will definitely stay at the Hotel Say again! This hotel is brand new and is currently under building renovation as I understood + they are building new pool and restaurant with bar.This makes a lot of noise and this is the only negative thing I can say. Because: The rooms are really new,fresh and beautiful.I had a room with small balcony.Extremely comfy bed,beautiful bathroom.Nespresso with complimentary coffee, full mini bar. The staff was very helpfull and extremely nice,they will manage everything you need. Breakfast are small but it is enough,be sure to try their home made cheese pie and pepper pie.Perfect! The area is also very nice,it is next to park and great restaurants and shopping area. I will be definitely back when the renovation will be done.It is really very nice boutique hotel with high quality.

The hotel is situated in a quiet road in the lovely district of Kifissia. For those visiting Sthens, Kifissia is a great area to stay in albeit out of the centre which for us is perfect. The staff are super helpful and friendly, nothing appears to be too much trouble. We had a small issue with the bathroom in our first room which neccistated a room change and that was to an upgraded suite, wonderful! Breakfast is more than adequate. If we visit Athens again it will be to The Y Hotel for sure.

The Kefalari is located in a very nice neighborhood with cute shops and nice restaurants. They offered us a breakfast box due to no restaurants serving breakfast in the neighborhood. We had to leave at 2:30 am for a flight, so missed out on that but they had Nespresso pods available as well as water. The rooms are beautiful and have great amenities but the carpet needs replacing. I believe they are in the midst of renovations. There is a small elevator and also cookies, coffee and bottled water in the lobby.

I've been in Athens many times, and my first advice is if you're visiting the Greek capital for sightseeing don't stay here. The hotel is in a remote northern suburbs, too far from Athens main sights. We came here on purpose because of the Iron Maiden concert at the nearby Olympic stadium (10-15 min walk) so it served us well, as we didn't go to downtown Athens. Hotel consists of two parts (with different names) - one is pet friendly, one isn't. In between is a fair size pool with several sunbeds. Rooms are spacious, but as others said - dated. Housekeeping is non existent - put a complaint the safe deposit box wasn't working as well the fridge, AC was barely working with strange sounds, asked for extra pillow - no one solved even one of these, nor even apologized. As we stayed only one night didn't bother to complain again. Breakfast is generous and good quality - many items to choose from fruits, pastries, cold cuts and cheese, eggs, sweets,.... Location is in the middle of residential area with nothing to see or do except the Olympic stadium and Mall of Athens.

This is an excellent 3 star hotel, for me at the verge of being a 4 star one. Very good service and attentive personnel. Rooms are small but cozy and sufficient. Nobody stays in for long, just sleeping. At cooler days you may walk to kifisia shopping district or pay 6 euro for a taxi. Breakfast is good and despite a limited number of rooms, it was still pretty good. Not sure if you can ask for omelette or the like. Overall, i will go again for sure👍😁

The Kefalari is located in a very nice neighborhood with cute shops and nice restaurants. They offered us a breakfast box due to no restaurants serving breakfast in the neighborhood. We had to leave at 2:30 am for a flight, so missed out on that but they had Nespresso pods available as well as water. The rooms are beautiful and have great amenities but the carpet needs replacing. I believe they are in the midst of renovations. There is a small elevator and also cookies, coffee and bottled water in the lobby.

Ok so you're not going to stay at the Hotel Park because you want to have a nice holiday, but probably because you have business in the neighbourhood. The hotel seems to be frozen in time (early 80s) and is in dire need of a stylistic renovation. Breakfast is beyond basic: no real coffee, virtually nothing fresh. What's saving it from being two stars is that both hotel and rooms are VERY clean, which is almost unexpected considering the age of the design. The beds are also reasonably comfortable and fitted with duvets. Finally, the staff is friendly and welcoming. In a nutshell, I wouldn't necessarily seek to stay there, but if I had to do it again, I guess I would.

Just about acceptable if on a budget as room was clean, beds comfy, excellent coffee at breakfast, staff friendly and drinks cheap. BUT so many reasons that we would not stay again. Very dated miserable looking decor, bathroom got flooded when shower used, no english tv stations, air con very noisy and not very effective, nicotine smell all about (no non smoking rooms in the hotel), and no ‘atmosphere’. I was bemused to order a gin and tonic and be told they didn’t have a slice or of lemon to put in it. A basic hotel that felt a bit joyless, but I am still giving it 3 stars because for the low price, what do you expect ? ? If you are in a strict budget and you don’t expect anything at all fancy, its perfectly fine. But for us, next time we would pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

The minute you walk into this Hotel you are greeted by the most friendly staff that make you feel so welcome. They are a big assist to this hotel with their outstanding customer service. I Apologise if I have left anyone out but everyone has been fantastic and we can't thank you enough. The cleanliness of this hotel is superb and the rooms are spotless with beautiful decor and very stylish furnishings with ambient surroundings. Breakfast is ideal with plenty of choices for everyone. Various breads,cereals, juices, yogurt , a wide selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats and small pies & pastries. The Hotel is located in a quiet street that Is lined with spectacular trees. It is situated in a very nice area and just a short walk you are in the middle of . Chalandri. Very close to Restaurants you are spoilt for choice to sample really nice food. Also there is a supermarket is close by. We were so pleased to have chosen this Hotel and would definitely return if we visit Athens again. I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to all our friends and family. You are very unique! As big thank you to all.

El hotel es pequeñito situado en una zona comercial. Por suerte la estacion de tren esta relativamente cerca para poder moverte al centro. Aunque el metro tarde 40 min hasta la zona más proxima a la Acropolis. El desayuno escasito. Sin lujos. Mejor olvidar. Mi experiencia negativa la tuve con el peesonal del hotel. A la hora de preguntar por un transfer... Dependiendo de a quien preguntabas te decian un precio distinto. Y si aun preguntas, la respuesta fue de todo menos correcta. Volveria?? NO. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after flying in from Santorini. We were driving to Meteora the next morning and wanted something that wasn't in the middle of Athens and closer to exiting the city. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is on the street, but we had no trouble finding a spot. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time. The rooms are a good size, very modern, and with a comfortable bed. In the morning, we checked out and took advantage of the very good breakfast they had. Overall, this hotel was excellent for what we needed it. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
