Friendly and warm welcome from Courtney on the front desk. Checking in was a breeze and directions to my room were so easy to follow a toddler couldve understood. She was incredibly professional. Room was awesome; plenty of space, clean, up to date decor and a really comfortable bed. Food was great; plenty of choices both for evening meals and breakfast. Would stay again. Cheers!

Staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a room facing the M6, so there was quite a lot of noise from the road, which isn't ideal but to be expected based on the location. If I stay again, when I'm in the area, I will probably request a room on the other side of the hotel. The room was missing it's phone, so when I needed to call down to reception I had to call the Holiday Inn customer service line off my mobile, which was a pain but other than that no complaints.

The room is very dated and a little shabby but the price reflects this and it was clean enough. The facilities are good and the staff are very helpful, especially David when I had a problem with my booking and some questions regarding disability access. The bar and restaurant are good.

It’s not that bad, I definitely think some of the other reviews are harsh. If I could give a 3.5 I would. As it’s definitely better than average but not quite as good as very good. Stayed for one night and yes it does look a bit tired. It just needs a little refurbishment. But the room was decent the bed reasonably comfortable and cleanliness well a little more attention and it would be perfect. The breakfast was ok not the best but certainly not the worst. The only thing watch the yoghurts as they were 2 days out of date. But yes to sum up one night maybe two a fine stay any longer then yes maybe look elsewhere.

Excellent hotel facilities and friendly staff. Downside was uncomfortable bed settee for our 12 year old son, hard pillows, windows you couldn’t open fully and automated check in system.
