Hotel di Dayan Pagoda/The Grand Tang Mall, Xi'an

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and reasonably priced. The location is very convenient for traveling, close to convenience stores and restaurants. You can walk around and explore. The staff can speak English. The rooms and cafe are beautifully decorated. There are a few minor shortcomings.The room isn't soundproof. If people in the next room are talking or walking up and down the stairs, you can hear them quite clearly. However, if I have the chance, I would like to come back and stay here again.

My first visit to Xi'an was during the Chinese New Year holiday right after the pandemic restrictions were lifted, and I chose the W Hotel back then. Honestly, though, the W's style wasn't quite my favorite at the time. Although I've had many business trips to Xi'an since, mostly in the Gaoxin area, I haven't stayed at the W again until now. This time, however, my business trip coincided with Trip.com's 'One City, One Room' promotion, and I re-booked the W. I found the experience even better than last time; the service attitude and quality were outstanding. The front desk staff, Ella, proactively offered an air purifier, which was a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast truly lives up to its reputation as Trip.com's number one food hotel in Xi'an. I've been recommending the oil-splashed noodles and mini buns from their breakfast to all my friends from out of town. Overall, it's significantly better than the Ritz, which is also on the same list. The PBX staff were also very gentle and efficient, responding promptly. The hotel's location is excellent as well, making travel convenient. I will definitely be back again.

The location is absolutely unbeatable! Datang Everbright City is right downstairs. I stayed in Xi'an for four days; the first two nights were at the Ritz, and for the latter two, I chose the Westin because I wanted to experience Hanfu makeup and styling nearby. When checking in, I specifically requested a quiet room, and they gave me one facing the inner courtyard, which was very peaceful and beautiful. A big thank you to Candy! Comparing the two hotels, the Ritz clearly has a newer and more modern decor. The Westin feels a bit dated and has more of a traditional Chinese style. Due to time constraints, I didn't get a chance to use the complimentary museum tickets. This hotel is a great choice if you want to explore and take photos in Datang Everbright City at night.

Whenever I visit Xi'an, I always stay at the Meilihao Hotel because of its excellent location, warm and attentive staff, and spacious rooms with fantastic views. Plus, both breakfast and the late-night snacks are delicious! They even offer unlimited complimentary mineral water, which you won't find at other hotels! I definitely have to give a thumbs up to Meilihao! 👍

The room was clean and tidy. I chose the king-size bed room with double breakfast, and after comparing prices, Trip.com offered the best deal. One particularly great thing was that if the bottled water in the room wasn't enough, you could ask the service staff for more, and they usually provided it. Later, the cleaning lady just started leaving us four bottles every day. However, the facilities are a bit old, but they generally meet all needs. Most importantly, the location is excellent; it's very close to the Grand Tang Mall and a short taxi ride to the Shaanxi History Museum, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower. Life is very convenient here. Highly recommended!

Traveling with my family, choosing this hotel truly added so much joy to our trip. Its location is unbeatable, very close to the surrounding scenic spots, which made our travel plans incredibly convenient. The hotel staff proactively contacted us before our arrival to meticulously reserve our room, and upon check-in, they prepared fresh fruit and thoughtful small gifts for us. These small details really made us feel their care and attentiveness. The cleanliness of the room was reassuring, and the decor was perfectly to my taste; both for taking photos and for the living experience, it was fantastic. My whole family raved about it, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit!

Location at center of center in town, shopping and food center within 1min walking distance. Will come back here again for sure. Xi'an Trip - Stop 1 Location & Transportation: The location is accurate, right next to the Tang Paradise, just one intersection away. The location is truly a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city. No need to squeeze onto the subway or wait for a ride-hailing service; staying out late is perfectly fine. Room Facilities: Opened in 2025, the hotel and rooms are quite new. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk thoughtfully provided a relatively quiet room on the 4th floor – a big thumbs up! The room is quite spacious, with all the necessary amenities, and the equipment follows Marriott's standard modular design language. The TV screen can be projected. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good during my two-day stay. As a newly opened hotel, there were virtually no signs of use; the cleaning was thorough. The toilet is a smart toilet, which is commendable, and it also features basic wet and dry separation. Many hotels now place the sink outside the washroom to save space, which I don't like. This hotel uses the traditional design, which I personally prefer, as two people washing their hands and brushing their teeth won't disturb each other. Breakfast + Service: Breakfast is served in the lobby on the first floor. There aren't many tables available, so you might have to wait during peak hours. The dining area isn't large, so the breakfast selection isn't extensive either. However, they do offer local specialty noodles. Come to Xi'an and experience the allure of carbohydrates first thing in the morning! Overall, they have all the essential food options, so you'll definitely be full. Repeat visit probability: 60% The hotel is newly opened, and the service is generally good. It's worth recommending because it's close to the Tang Paradise, saving you a lot of travel time. Also, most of the hotels in the area are older, while this is the newest chain brand in the area. Marriott's quality and service are generally very good. If you're visiting Xi'an, consider staying here; you definitely won't be disappointed.

The moment I stepped out of the car, the doorman proactively helped with my luggage and offered warm water, saying, ”You must be tired from your journey.” That instantly melted away my fatigue. During check-in, the front desk not only thoughtfully recommended an authentic Roujiamo (meat burger) spot but also adjusted my room to a lower floor near the elevator, as requested. The warm towel and Roselle tea were perfect touches. During my stay, I casually mentioned wanting some hot food, and the housekeeper delivered a beef noodle soup within ten minutes, quietly raising the room temperature and reminding me to stay warm. The pool is an absolute treasure! The 28℃ constant-temperature water is always crystal clear, and the 24-hour circulating filtration system means there's no chlorine smell, so even sensitive skin can enjoy a swim without worries. Towels and mineral water are neatly arranged poolside, and lifeguards are always on duty, making me feel completely safe. During the day, sunlight streams through the glass onto the water, creating a shimmering effect, and you can even catch glimpses of the Tang Paradise. After a swim, a dip in the Jacuzzi completely washes away all travel weariness. From the detailed service to the leisure experience, everything was impeccable. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Xi'an!

Facilities: Fully equipped, with food delivery robots, a gym, and a laundry room. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Comfortable. Service: Warm and welcoming. They gave me a framed gift bag with paper-cuttings on it, and offered me an umbrella to take with me when I left because it was raining. However, I declined since the rain had mostly stopped and it was close to the subway station. I would definitely choose this place again if I visit Xi'an again.
