Hotel berhampiran Bochali View Point, Pulau Zakinthos

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. It’s like a little oasis! Our (very spacious) room was tucked away above the spa, where it was very quiet. They kindly gave us a free room upgrade, so we had a huge in-room hot tub which was a nice surprise! And the balcony was the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The pool area was lovely, with comfy loungers/beanbags and lots of greenery. And the QR codes make it easy to order drinks or snacks straight to your sun lounger. The spa was also great, and you can book the pool/sauna for just the two of you, which is a nice touch. We booked half-board and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and you can also order a dish from the menu at no extra cost. I was very impressed by the evening buffet. I find that buffet dinners can be hit-and-miss, but everything was delicious, especially the Greek dishes. There was also live music by the bar on a couple of nights, which added a really nice atmosphere. Special shout-out to the evening bartender who made the most fantastic cocktails! We also ate at the Nobile rooftop restaurant one evening. We had the seven-course tasting menu which was very nice, but there was quite a lengthy gap between the courses. We were there over three hours – had we known it would be that long, I think we probably would have booked an earlier table. But it was a great experience nonetheless, and the food was wonderful. The final word goes to go to the staff, who were amazing. The reception team, the porter, the waiting staff, the spa team – everyone was so friendly, smiley, and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d definitely recommend Contessina Suites for a chilled-out break; we had the best time.

The property itself is so beautiful, the location is stunning, it has a very welcoming feeling due to it not beinh a big hotel. Breakfast is yummy, and the hospitality is just wonderful. The staff feels like a family and the vibe allover is just incredible. The owner even arranged a car hire for us, the agency brought the car to the property, we didn't need to do much ourselves, it was a perfect vacation and i would highly recommend staying here. What i also liked very much was the fact that at the time of our stay there were no families with small children (it felt super relaxing) so the pool was always available, also enough sunbeds for everyone and there were floaties and balls in the pool so we could also play and chill if we wanted to. But otherwise the place seems also great for families. The staff made sure we had a great time :)

My wife and myself are just back from having a lovely 2 week stay at this lovely hotel. It was quite with it getting towards the end of the season. We stayed from the 20th of September until the 04th of October. We had booked a Chic room and was upgraded to a Deluxe suite at no extra cost. We stayed on a B & B basis and could not fault the breakfast as there was always plenty of choice. The staff was always chatie and PAVASKEVI always had a big smile when ever you seen her. The pool area was well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and umbrella's no matter what time of day you went down. As for eating out there was ample restaurant's to choice from. Would we go back to the Koukounairia Hotel and Suites yes but a bit earlier in the season.

Just stayed here for 11 nights. I cannot fault the hotel at all. Yes there is a steep hill up to the rooms so if you struggle with mobility take this into account but I saw guests with very poor mobility managing! Breakfast had plenty of choice. Cereal, yogurt, toast, cakes, sliced meats, cheese, sausage, small pastrey's, eggs, juice, coffee etc. There was enough to keep us going until tea time. The room had all we needed - safe, air con, fridge and a lovely comfy bed! It was cleaned every day, beds made and towels changed. Always got a welcoming smile and a good morning from the cleaners. Did use the pool - it was very cold, but so was the sea on some days! Hotel is on a busy main road with no footpath outside but there is room to walk single file and it was only for a couple of minutes. The hotel is located near to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Not a lot of beach along argassi front but there is a free bus to banana beach (we didn't use this). There is no shortage of car/scooter/quad hire places and there are plenty of places to book your boat trips. I would definitely recommend a stay here - a small, quiet, friendly hotel. This adult-only hotel is in a tranquil part of the island. You can reach the city center in about 15 minutes by car. You can easily rent a vehicle, there are different agencies even near the hotel. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was flawless, there was no waiting time and the vehicle (range rover) was in good condition. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted very well. Fresh towels, water and a refreshing ice cream accompanied us during check-in. The room was not ready yet, but we arrived 3 hours before the official check-in time, anyway they made available to us the changing rooms of the gym, so we had the opportunity to wait in the pool. The room is exactly as described on the website. Sure it is bright and clean, but it is not in perfect condition. Some lights on the ceiling do not work, the whirlpool maintenance door is not attached to the tub and tends to open, some buttons on the TV remote do not work. We also found the toilet rather uncomfortable, mainly due to the opening of the door and the size of the bathroom itself. Check our video on YouTube - @travelwithpassionandstyle for more information. The Wi-Fi had two problems, on the terrace, there was almost no coverage, and in the room, it was very slow. Even e simple wi-fi call with no video was almost impossible to accomplish. The hotel has a private beach with beds and umbrellas. It's easy to find free places, especially in the morning. The beach itself is not very large but during our stay, it was never overcrowded. The sunbeds were pretty comfortable, but your relax might be ruined by jet ski driving in front of the beach at high speed. They were very noisy, the water sport rental service just next to the hotel doesn’t help in this sense. Also, bear in mind that smoking is permitted, so if you, like us, don’t appreciate the smell of the smoke, you should take this into consideration as well. The hotel has a very nice restaurant overlooking the beach and sea. It’s called Gaia. They essentially have a “à la Carte” menu, but the idea is that you get the tasting menu. As we mentioned before, the location is very nice, unfortunately the service is not top notch. At the beginning, they seemed to be a bit confused about who was in charge for what. They asked us three times which kind of water we would like to drink and the first waiter, who said he was our waiter for that evening, never showed up again during the entire dinner. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a beautiful view of the sea and swimming pool, considering the class of the hotel, we were very surprised about the lack of fish in the buffet. Overall, the quality was acceptable, well presented but with some mishaps. During our stay, the breakfast was almost always the same, we can’t say the same thing about the service. It happened more than once that one waiter asked which type of water we would like to drink, and literally 30 seconds later, another waiter asks the same question. Also, it

First impressions - beautiful, clean apartment in a great area of Tsilivi. Set in lovely surroundings and close to the beach and main street. I was a solo traveller and felt completely safe and secure whilst out and about and in the apartment itself. There is a security fob on the key which allows access to apartments if you arrive late in the night. Great view from the veranda - stunning! The apartment had everything I needed and was spacious and clean. Air con was an added bonus and it was much needed. Overall great value for money. The hosts were so nice and friendly. They were helpful with anything I needed and I appreciated having a point of contact for advice as a lone traveller. I will definitely return to Domus Alta at a later date but stay for longer next time! Thank you, Angela for everything! It meant a lot to me.
