The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!

An interestingly situated hotel in lovely parklands. This place has an old section and a new one. we stayed in the new area. The room had no air con. It had an extra bed which we didn't ask for . This made the room crowded. The architecture in the new section is crazy. From outside the room the corridors look like a prison. It takes 2 lifts to get bags to the room. The reception has no ”soul” or atmosphere. We arrived at night, and it is lit in red. the restaurant was ok without being exceptional. Breakfast was quite good but not much of an offering for a gluten free person. No local restaurants worth going to. Think I would prefer to try something else next time.
Storchen Zürich - Lifestyle Boutique Hotel

My family of 10 (we had 5 rooms) visited hotel Storchen in June 2023. Proper to the visit, I emailed with the concierge several times and am blown away by the service provided. The concierge helped me plan all of my activities and was able to reserve transportation for us months prior to our arrival. We took the train from Paris to Zurich and walked to the hotel from the train station (easy walk). Check-in was super efficient and simple. We received some drink coupons so we headed to the rooftop bar for cocktails and lunch. Everything was amazing. The food was delicious, the drinks were cold, and the service was friendly and quick. Breakfast was included as I booked through amex. I LOVED their breakfast. They had a continental buffet (including self-serve mimosas) and a menu to order hot items from. Everything was delicious and it was a great start to our day every day. I would definitely stay here again!

A distance from the train station. Hotel provided bicycle that can easily be rented! Great cycling experience. Hotel is clean and comfy. No fridge in room but can easily request for ices from restuarant. Overall great stay!
