I’ve never been so disappointed in my entire life. Today is Christmas Eve also the date of our check in at Five, in Zurich. When we arrived there was no one to help with our luggage or valet our vehicle. So we drove away from the front of the building and proceeded to park in public parking. We carry our three checked bags and our carry ons up a hill and all the way to the lobby, for the valet attendant to finally help us with our luggage and when I mean help I loaded in on the trolly and started pushing it and he kinda of just came and took over after I was already in the building and at the reception desk. After checking in we proceeded to our room, I went to get into the shower after a long day of travel and noticed the shower wasn’t draining and the bathroom was flooding. So we called and they said they were sending someone up. After about 45 minutes and three phone calls someone finally arrived. After they messed with the drain for 15 minutes they told us we needed a new room. So now we have to wait for someone to come and bring us to our new room as they requested. They told us they already check out the room/bathroom and everything was ok. Well it wasn't, this time the shower head was spraying water all over the ceiling and of course now they have to move us to a new room again. This all took about 3 hours which completely wasted our night and our Christmas Eve, I would expect that after all this they would at least would at least buy us a dinner or put us in a better room but nothing, not even a sorry from the front desk for this horrible inconvenience on Christmas Eve. They finally room they gave us didn’t even have conditioner or an outlet for the blow dryer for my fiancé to finally shower in the 3rd same level room.

Mediocre for the price point. Location is good with two tram stations a short walk away and direct tram service to city centre. Aside from Raquel at the reception, staff were not particularly pleasant to deal with. Breakfast is a good spread. Property is showing its age and would benefit from a renovation.

We stayed at this Novotel in Zurich, the Novotel in Munich and the Novotel in Geneva. This Novotel was definitely not as good as the others. The location is fine - it's well connected to public transport (it is located in the business technology park). We had booked nearly nine months in advance and asked for two rooms near each other (we were travelling as a family). We were given two rooms on separate floors at opposite ends of the hotel. It was literally the most far apart that the rooms could be. Reception on check in said that they would change it, then kept me waiting for 45 minutes while they tried to do so. I gave up at the 45 minute mark and just took the rooms that had been initially allocated. The initial person on check in did try and be helpful and gave a good restaurant recommendation. The other person on reception really was not helpful - in the end one of his colleagues stepped in to assist as I think she could see that he was being very unhelpful. Reception was often busy with queues (the reception area is not large enough for the size of the hotel). We were clearly tourist visitors to the city, and no-one in reception advised us on check-in that there was a huge festival in the city taking place (attracts 2 million visitors to Zurich) that was affecting all public transport plus restaurant availability etc. The rooms and the pool were fine. The breakfast at this hotel was very, very average, particularly the hot food items. The breakfast compared very unfavourably to those offered by the Novotel hotels in Geneva and Munich. Check out took a long time, and there did not seem to be a place to drop keys. The staff have very casual uniforms (pants and polo shirt) which also contributes to the whole feel of the hotel seeming like a lower standard. Hopefully Novotel can look at this hotel and try and improve the standard so it is of a similar standard to its other locations. (Novotel Munich in particular was so much better!)

Pleasantly surprised with the friendly service received at the reception. Breakfast was good, especially the mini croissants and the fresh butter and cheese. Would advise you make it clear to the staff on your eggs order as one would offer you plain scrambled egg while the other would ask if you prefer to add on ingredients. Location is good, there is a shortcut to the train station from the back of the hotel. Room design could be improved but no complaints. All in all, I am thankful the service was warm and that really matters to me.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay: the super comfortable bed was the highlight (queen size, not king though), cool decor, larger room size friendly service, absolutely ideal location - very central and overlooking the river, happening bar, good breakfast. We would love to return!

A beautiful hotel with a clean and cosy hotel. Very warm and helpful staff. It's well located and near the city center and has a mall next to it. The breakfast served is very lavish and good. A feel good stay and it has an Italian restaurant which is beautifully done though I did not get a chance to enjoy the meal there. Hotel has vehicle paid parking facility.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here for 2 nights for the Coldplay concert and it was the perfect Zurich hotel. Super central, great rooms, great restaurants, great breakfast and great staff. Special mention to Peter and Gribo who looked after us very well on our first night at dinner and to Filippo who absolutely spoilt us with his very kind and attentive service when we got back from the concert and thought the bar and restaurant were shut, Filippo rescued our night! Will certainly return very soon.

We went out for city tour in the morning and when we come back to the room in the afternoon, our room is like being robbed, 3 out of 4 suitcases are missing, the bathroom is only half way clean, balcony door left open, most clothes hanging in the wardrobe are missing. I called front office immediately and i have been told that housekeeping had found the door of wardrobe is broken and has a risk of falling, so for safety reason, therefore, they have transferred our suitcases to the new room.
so here are the question:
1. Why there are only half of my belongings are being transferred to the new room? You either transferred all my belongings to the new room, but not just half of it, it is so scary when you back to your room which it is like a crime scene!
2. Is it normal for a luxury hotel to touch guest's personal belonging without permission of the guest?
3. If the hotel find it a safety issue inside the room, why do they still let the guest go into the room? That kind of put the guest in a dangerous environment that may get injured!
4. Have the hotel ever tried to contact the guest, by phone/email of such incident had happened in the room? or worst case, to stop me to get in to the room, when i passed by front desk before get back to the room? none of it had been done
In short, this is not acceptable for any hotel, not talking about Ameron is a luxury brand, the hotel has poor risk management, this is my first time using this brand and I don't think there will be a second chance, terrible experience and even on the checked out date, no one care to ask how was my stay.

Ttravel nezThe location is good, its very near the train station. Once exit from the hotel and we at right at the main street. It happened to ve where the christmas market begins. All the popular chocolatier are just around the corners for souvenirs from Switzerland.
Room was decent, but the only and major downside, there's too many stairs. It'll be good to include a narrow ramp next to the stairs to allow us to drag our extremely heavy luggage.
I think its because we checked in at night, there's not enough staff to assist us.
Even on the way to our room, we had a small steps to overcome. 🤦♀️ I mean eventually its still manageable but it'll be a great help with the narrow ramp.

PPengguna Tetamu I booked this hotel for a night. We checked in around 8pm and we found out that the temperature in the room was quite hot so before we went out for dinner we just turned it to 20°c which is the minimum. After we came back room, we still found that the room was still hot and the temp on the screen was shown as 24.5°. Then, we went to the front desk to tell them that maybe the A/C had problem but the staff said that their A/C works different from normal A/C, they call it “Cooler”! So, we told them this is not right because on the website exactly shows “A/C not Cooler”. Then the staff went to check the temperature in my room with a thermometer in front of the cooler in my room and it was shown 23.8° which that time we set it on 20° for over 3 hours! We asked them to check if there was any available room to change. First, they said the hotel was quite full and if they gave us another room and the cooler still didn’t work what they can do for us. Then they said they have fans if we are ok (30cm width fans), so I told them we were 3 persons, is it possible if we can get 3 fans. And they said “yes“. After that they told us they can move us to another room so we checked and we felt it quite better but still hot so we asked them can we get the fans. This time they told us they can only give us 1 fan because they have only 3 fans. I have to explained them again that first thing you said you had A/C but then turned out as “cooler”, second thing you accepted that you will give us 3 fans, third we paid for the room with A/C which is the price is higher than non-A/C room in other hotels. So, they gave us 2 fans finally. However, the room was clean and good for staying in winter according to the “cooler” really good works for “heater”! And thank you that solved the problem without saying sorry and making us felted like we were guilty to not able to sleep with that temp. (That night the temp outside the room was hotter than inside so we couldn’t open the windows)

OOleksiyPerfectly located within easy reach of the train station , major tourist attractions of the city and a large supermarket . Upon arrival we were cordially greeted by a receptionist with an absolutely lovely sense of humor. The hotel is small but it has all the things you’d need for a short stay. Will book again if we ever travel to Zurich again!

Our room 105 very bad connection internet nowadays easy solving problem but i am not the owner.I can not understand that free roaming still not excist in Swiss while it is possible everywhere in Europe.

PPikachuuuuuuThe hotel has a simple design, everything look clean and minimalistic, the hallway is looking like a prison.
The air flow of the hotel is so strange. When anyone open their hotel door or close. You will also feel/hear it inside the room every hour.
The hotel room does not include any mini bar, fridge, kettle.
I first checked in and got a room in 2nd floor. But when i opened the door, it has very strong cold wind blow to me from inside to outside for 5 seconds, I am not going to explain this in here, you can interpert yourself.
I went to change the room to 3rd Floor.
I found there are so many kid palm mark on the window glass, meanwhile the bathroom sink suddenly has water leaking issue. So i changed the room again.
After that I got the other room it looks fine, only the shutter in the window is broken, I cannot switch it to be opened.
But after 1 day, the card is no longer working, I went to chnage the card again. Then I found that cleaning service forgot to close the window.
It provides only 1 combination gel for shower/hair wash. And the hair dryer is very poor.
Good things are the stuffs are kind, and I could borrow the kettle by paying 20CHF deposit from the reception. *like come on it is only a kettle... *
And you could borrow unbella for free.

Sstw2566Good location, easy access by bus from zurich HB. Well equipped with amenities which you can cook simple dishes.
No kettle in the room is a little bit inconvenient. And my room is near the road, so it's noisy for cars passing and sometimes men talking outside.
