Stayed two nights. Ideal location opposite the main station. The restaurant doesn't operate so we couldn't get a meal but they offer breakfast. Nice and clean with good rooms with air conditioning. Would stay thereagain.

This hotel boasts a practical, prime location close to the old town centre of Graz (and, in our opinon, to some of the best breakfast spots in town, which is not a negligeable benefit). Their employees are not excruciatingly friendly but are nevertheless extremely competent and were even able to accommodate our request for a lower-floor suite. Their bedding is without a doubt the most comfortable that I have ever seen, and the rooms are spacious and imaginatively furnished. All in all, this is a wonderful hotel that I would warmly recommend to anyone who wishes to experience Graz in a quite luxurious light, especially when it comes to the price-performance ratio. There is just one quite peculiar issue that I think should be advertised more prominently: if you are taking a hot shower with the bathroom door open, the fire alarm will go off, and if/when it does, you will have to pay 500€ (as of November 2022) for the unnecessary visit by the fire brigade. I read this in the hotel leaflet, which is available in every room, but I don't think all guests read these booklets (I do, but I adore hotels and love sniffing around every amenity available in the room). Seeing as this was precisely what must have happened to one of the guests in the hotel when we were staying there (elevators were not working, the fire alarm light in the main lobby was blinking and there was a huge fire truck parked in front of the hotel), I think a more public warning would definitely not have gone amiss. Staying in this hotel was an extremely pleasant experience and a wonderful surprise. We didn't get the chance to try out their restaurant Der Steirer, but we did spend quite some time in their café (Kaffe Weitzer) - their warm apple strudel with vanilla sauce is nothing short of exquisite!

Pictures can be deceiving!!! Had a huge suite but furnishings were blah and too few--sitting room needed another chair, sofa couch had cushions that wouldn't remain in place, bedroom needed a vanity or dresser (had to keep our clothes in the suitcases , bed was way too low (tough to get into and out of) and an end table(s) with lamp(s) would have been helpful. Difficult to control temperature in the room as well--was always too warm! Breakfast the first morning was a disaster---arrived 30 minutes before buffet was to be shut down and at least half the food was empty or had very little left with most having been picked over! No scrambled eggs or bacon, two of the fruit bowls were empty, most of the breads and pastries were gone.... staff seemed put out when we asked for most to be refreshed!!! And the price of the room was not cheap!!! Yes we were disappointed having expected more!

Had slight difficulties finding the hotel and parking to get the car unloaded , Had mixed feelings on arrival, don't let first impressions deter you, Great rooms and restaurants near by. Good staff and secure parking.

Hotel very comfortable for a short city visit. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, duvet is so nice. Carpets in room give it a more basic feel but the room has what you need for a short trip. Rooms are quiet. There’s no frills but has what you need. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff are polite. Good location for public transport: trains, buses & trams. It’s an easy 20 min walk into the centre Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz.

The hotel is great. Kind staff. My room was proper. I spent my time there due to work. I could relax very well. I had breakfast in the price and it was really great to have these delicious meals before work. The hotel has a good placement. Everything is very close to it. If you choose this hotel for any purpose, you wont be dissapointed.

The hotel is in a great location, being an easy walk to many tourist attractions. Our superior room was of ample size, but had lots of unused space. The full length windows opened onto a faux balcony which offered views of the clock tower, the nearby square and interesting buildings. The bathroom was small, but serviceable. As a Titanium Discovery member, I was given a nice plate of cakes, a bottle of water and a room upgrade. Staff were friendly and efficient. Pre-stay emails were responded to promptly, questions answered and requests granted. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of cold cuts, bread and bakery items, juices, food warmers with the usual offerings plus eggs to order.

Everything just so good. I love the room with a bath tub. We went to their restaurant for dinner too. Their cocktails taste so good and the food are nice too. We had a nice time with them =) other than that Graz is just an amazing city with many beautiful building.

Portable fans available at the reception, a very sensible approach to guest comfort. Extra points. But far many points off for the shabbiness of the guest rooms, the common areas. I can not tell dirt that won't shift from dirt that no one has tried to shift, and to stay in a place that seems dirty is as unhappy an experience as to stay in one that truly is dirty : Both make for a dreary evening and morning. And . . . every time I stay -- a visit every few weeks ! -- the place appears worse run-down. Depressing. How much does Domestos cost, after all ? Maybe fresh paint is out of the question, but . . . neaten up the picked-away edges of the signage ? To do so wouldn't break A&O.
