I have stayed at Amsterdam Hostel multiple times and I am always more than satisfied with my stay. Rooms have thick & comfy mattresses and large windows with fresh air. The staff is friendly and they have security 24 hours a day to keep everyone safe in SF. Definitely coming back!

Good budget room. Comfortable. Perfectly adequate for a one night stay, nothing flash but I wasn't expecting it to be. Wouldn't walk the area at night due to the number of homeless but fine to walk to the shops in daylight (mind crossing the busy roads). Staff friendly and helpful.

Clarion choice hotel in Nashville was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable along with great service. Justin the bartender at the hotel bar was entertainment all by himself. He made us laugh every time we were there.

My last time in San Diego was 5 years ago. This time, I stayed at Comfort Inn Gaslamp. The hotel was convenient for convention. It took 10 minutes to SDCC on foot. My room was not spacious but it was ok for me. The room was clean with comfortable bed. The hotel provided free breakfast with wide variety. The hotel people were quite friendly. Please be noted that the maid was making up room every other day. I will come back for convention next year if possible.

I had my reservation but it was for the next day and for just one night due to a computer glitch. They adjusted it when I got there and checked me in though it was late at night.

Great place to stay in Paso. Walk to old town with lots of cute shops and great restaurants. Also have a restaurant and full bar on the property. Hotel is old and some of the rooms are on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the grounds are so cute.

She went above & beyond in creating an outcome for me that was fair and absolutely aligned with her hotels rules & regulations. The Heart involved in the Customer Service aspect of this business interaction was just as quality as a super High End establishment. Excellent job Alizay! The rooms are kool. Not much Heat can be adjusted but otherwise clean and free from bugs. I'm okay with this place and please KNOW that I Am SUPER PICKY! Lastly, i'd like to mention the rest of the staff is pretty nice as well. Communicating with them is easy and Light! I Like That!

This is our 4th time in this hotel. Its reliably clean, up to date, great breakfast and excellent value. Safe neighborhood and convenient location

En arrivant je croyais que l'hôtel était fermé tellement l'entrée est petite et peu accueillante. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseurs et les escaliers sont petits et exiguës, ce qui a rendu la montée de la valise plus compliquée que prévu. Le plus gros point négatif selon moi est que la fenêtre de la chambre n'isole ni du bruit ni du froid. Le chauffage de la chambre ne permet pas de compenser le froid ce qui est quand même problématique. Les photos de l'hotel ne représente absolument pas la réalité malheureusement. Cependant, l'hôtel est bien situé, les salles de bains communes et toilettes étaient propres et le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique. L'hôtel était acceptable pour un séjour de deux jours mais je ne recommande pas cet hôtel pour un plus long séjour.

A bit sleepy place. Corridors were packed with everything possible from build materials to cleaning works. Elevator out of order, but I slept good as comfy bed. Thanks!

Nice property with good character. The location is good for the Castro and takes about 40 mins to get to Pier 39 via public transport. The welcome was okay but brief. We were given one key to share and despite being promised a second key, this did not happen. We had a room on the front of the property which was a good size, although there was a TV and chest of drawers in the wardrobe which left very little hanging space. There was no view from the window as the trees in front of the property have grown tall and block the windows. There is a tram line which runs past the front of the property on Church Steet which can be handy. However, the trams are very noisy and run all day from very early, 7 days a week. We had practically no sleep during our time there. Breakfast was okay although, despite being advertised to be available from 07:30, it was not. We had lots of things planned during our stay and as the tram had woken us before 5am we were prompt to breakfast. The staff at breakfast were far from engaging. We were disappointed to see that some of the cling wrapped bread put out for breakfast was green with mould and despite pointing this out, the bread basket was not refreshed. Our room was not serviced in the 4 nights we were there and the fresh towels we asked for on day 3 felt reluctantly left outside the door during the day. At no point did any of the staff ask us if were were enjoying our stay or if our room was okay On check out we felt that they couldn't get rid of us fast enough. I would say that our stay at Parker Guest house was okay, but nothing special.

One of the best hotels in town on a budget! Nice, clean rooms, welcoming atmosphere. This hotel is in a very convenient, central location to most of the city attractions. local Muni bus, a Big Bus right outside the building if you want to go to all the landmarks. around the city, very convenient! Free indoor parking with 24-hour surveillance is one less thing to worry about. About a 20-minute walk to Fisher Man's Warf, Crooked Street, and the hotel is open 24 hours. Guest service, bar none! Thank you Buena Vista! Will be seeing you again.

Was very pleased with my stay at the Grove Inn. Communication was great; check-in was easy (I arrived while the front desk was staffed, but they seem well-prepared for those who check in after hours). My room was clean, with a nice modern bathroom and good bath products. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I appreciated the fan and the noise machine, as well as the mini-fridge, Keurig, and electric kettle (with coffee and tea provided). No evidence of a breakfast or snack basket, but I did have a couple of chocolates and small cookies awaiting my arrival. The neighborhood seems clean, safe, and relatively quiet - and the building is secure, so I never felt uncomfortable about that. A couple of things were less than ideal. The walls are pretty thin! I must not have had neighbors my first night, because I didn't notice it until the second night when I heard snoring from the room next to mine. (And then I realized why they provide earplugs in addition to the noise machine, ha!) My second night there was definitely noisier - not from the street, but from other rooms. One other thing I didn't love was that my room had no deadbolt, only the doorknob lock. The building felt secure; my room not so much. Finally (and I think this is common in a lot of older buildings), the room had minimal electrical outlets (at least ones that were easy to access). All in all, I quite enjoyed my stay at the Grove Inn and will definitely consider it again for my next visit to SF.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and accommodating! John is awesome! My nephew has been staying here temporarily and they have been very supportive and helpful. The neighborhood is decently clean. Close to Trader Joe’s, Harvest Market, and other restaurants. You can walk to downtown SF easily for a nice walk. There’s 24 hour staff available as well.

Don’t expect much from quality inn. This is one of the better property for the price, location and room. Can’t ask for much. I’m happy with it.

It’s a motel. But it’s clean and tidy with hair drier, microwave, refrigerator, TV, lamp, soup, hot water, independent bathroom&toilet, wardrobe, free Wi-Fi in room, nice room service granny. The guy in front desk is friendly and smart. Though some client might be noisy, I would book next time if needed. Recommend to student, family with not enough budget to book luxury hotel but require somewhere clean.

This is a very good motel (not hotel), in a good location with free off-street parking, striking distance to not only downtown Pasadena, but also Burbank, Hollywood, Silver Lake, etc. I was there for 4 nights and the area felt very safe. All the staff was friendly. Other Pros: Clean, decent sized room, with large screen TV and blackout curtains Fairly quiet (except for some of the more bone-headed guests that clomp past your room heavy footed or think they are the only ones there, even early in the AM - but that is not the property's fault) Surprisingly - perhaps shockingly so - comfortable bed, pillows and bedding. Really! Easy check in, Christine was fabulous. Good location with a lot of nearby restaurants, etc Good value for the money. Cons: Internet issues. To be fair, they were resolved on the second day after three calls to their tech support - all of whom were very nice. Shower pressure a little low. Breakfast is a bit very skimpy and, what is really a con, it is served in what seems like a converted motel room. The room is way too small and uncomfortable for the amount of guests they are attempting to accommodate, particularly in the times in which we live. This needs a serious re-think. That said, the pros outweigh the cons by a lot and I would definitely stay there again

Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. People working here were not my issue. The actual room was (I think by looking at it) fairly recently remodeled as it was up to date and pleasant. Unfortunately this is were I can no longer be nice. The lobby was very dirty and in dire need of repair. The elevator was filthy. The location is right next to a very busy stretch of highway, and what I can only describe as a ”drag *****”. Cars raced past the motel till 3am. Extremely loud cars - imagine fast and furious.....no joke. Windows did nothing to keep any of this noise out. The Fast food place next door is the ONLY place to get ANY food. The service trucks run ALL night long to the place next door and again the noise is unbelievable. This is a motel. Your door opens out onto the walkway. The foot traffic is loud and constant. If you travel alone as I do, you do not feel safe. Sorry I know this is Burbank but to charge this much money for this motel is not right. Again the staff were very helpful and that includes the over night people, but the facility was sub-par.

Our TV in our room stop working. We called for the night attendant Elsa to trouble shoot TV. She right out refused and had an attitude because we interrupted her personal phone call. She lied and said that she spoke to the manager which later we found out that she never did. I want the manager to call me regarding this person behavior. Our stay was for a week and it was multiple occasions that she was only engaged in her personal phone calls and refused to meet our needs. Rodeway will not be successful if you have an employees who just want to talk on their personal cell the entire night and not help hotel guest. The day shift attendant was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I hope you guys give her a raise or promotion for her generosity and the pride that she gives in representing your company. Thanks. I had read some reviews claiming negative things about this place but none turned out to be true. It is super clean and everyone is very kind and helpful. The area is safe (much more than I expected) and close to different bus stops and restaurants. Will book again in the future :)

Das Zimmer ist groß und sauber. Das personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer mit TV und W-LAN. Das personal hilft bei fragen. Direkt neben dran ist ein super kleiner leckerer Coffee Place. Eine empfehlenswerte Pizzeria ist 500 Meter entfernt.

When we complained about the clogged toilet, it was ignored. The sink got clogged up as well. So, if you were in our position, what would you do or how would you file a complaint???

Though the staff was nice, this hotel is not in good shade. We requested early check-in, but the room was not ready when we arrived at 11;30. No big deal, it was a request not a promise. The desk took my name and number and said they would call when the room was ready. I called at 3:30 to check and no one answered (room was promised at 3:00). Waited and finally arrived at 6:30pm and a different person apologized saying the room had been ready for hours and they no one had told her to call. Annoying but time. We went to our room and quickly discovered the door didn't latch, so it could be pushed open from the outside and slid open from the inside. Obviously and outside safety/privacy issue and definitely not going to work with our two little kids. Front desk clerk spent a few minutes trying to fixed it, but said she would need to call maintenance and it would be a few hours. That's a no go, we already check in late and need to get our little ones to bed. We were moved to a different room and given a slight discount since we were moved from a bunk bed suite to a king double combo. I'm not actually sure if the discount wall less than the room would have been had I booked that one to begin with. In the second room the phone didn't work making contacting the front desk difficult. Office informed with no solution. We dealt with it. My parents stayed onsite as well and their shower had only a half wall causing the floor to flood with each shower. They could not move rooms since they needed the bunk bed and the only other bunk bed room (ours) couldn't lock, so they stayed put. This hotel also doesn't have an elevator, so we spent much of the early morning and late night listening to people bang their rolling bags up and down the adjacent stairs. That said, the room was clean and the breakfast was as expected with fruit, cereal, a waffle maker, etc. If you need s place nearby that is fairly clean and safe this place will work, but keep your expectations low. Also be warned- they have a pool that is open year round, but it is not heated.

I have never encountered such an incompetent front desk person. She seemed very confused, as if it were her first day on the job and would consider placing her away from the customers to spare them. Firstly, my room did not have a heater. Rather than fix the situation by moving me to a room with a heater, I was told that I couldn't be moved because no one would be able to clean the room. What kind of an excuse is that?! Don't fix the heater and move someone else into the room so they can be uncomfortable on a 49 degree San Diego evening? That only sounds fabulous if I am having hot flashes, which I am not. I will say that the room was clean when I entered and want to give the room cleaning staff a shout out since they are truly doing their job. How about fix the heater and you won't have to worry about moving someone into another room because heaters weren't fixed. When I pay for a room, I expect all features to be functional and am not really concerned about how you will clean the room when I depart from it. I really hope that management sees this and ensures that all elements in a room are working and teach their front desk staff to do better.

Great place if you like quiet out of the city areas, great customer service, I really enjoy staying there especially with the prices.

Great place right on Ocean Beach. The motel is fenced in and feels safe. My room was comfortable. For my first time solo travelling, safety and comfort was priority, and I felt totally secure here. I loved that I could watch the sunset until dark and still feel comfortable walking the short distance back to my room. I stayed in a single king room (bay view) and a double queen (bay view). There's natural wear and tear in the rooms and they're a bit outdated, but still perfect for me as I didn't spend much time in the hotel and am pretty low maintenance. My rooms and the pool were perfect for winding down after busy days. My only complaint is that I found it cold in my room and had the heat cranked up all night as the blankets were quite thin. The heater was pretty loud but I still slept really well. The staff was super friendly and stored my luggage for several hours after I checked out (I was flying home later that day) and in between my separate room bookings. They gave me recommendations for places to eat and seemed to love their jobs and care about my experience. Overall everything I needed!

My wife and I stayed here for our 14th wedding anniversary and the room was great! It was very comfortable and had a little living room we could sit in and a spa tub. The breakfast is included and it was delicious both days. Much better than most places I've stayed. They also have happy hour every day, serving select drinks and snacks. The location is right around the corner from downtown Coronado and the Del Coronado and beach, so only a few minute walk. The price was great and beat the prices of the other hotels on Coronado island. I definitely recommend this hotel.
