Various yachts were docked at the pier, shimmering with silver light in the morning sun. We boarded a yacht and sailed towards the Pearl River estuary, with a gentle breeze blowing and the Nansha skyline in the distance, taking in the breathtaking view of the sea and sky merging into one. At noon, we enjoyed a seafood feast at the yacht club's restaurant, with the fresh flavors accompanied by the sound of waves, bringing a sense of tranquility. In the afternoon, we strolled along the scenic promenade by the harbor, quietly feeling the whispers of the sea breeze and the serenity of the harbor. Second Day: The Fusion of Wetlands and History The next day, we headed to Nansha Wetland Park, an oasis known as the 'lungs of the city,' with its rich natural ecology that captivates visitors. We took a sightseeing boat through the dense mangroves and observed the graceful flight of egrets. Afterwards, we visited the Tianhou Temple, an ancient building with a strong maritime culture that gave us a deeper understanding of the Lingnan ancestors' reverence and dependence on the sea. From yachts to wetlands, the two-day journey left a profound memory of the blend of nature and culture, as if every scene in Nansha was telling the water legends of Lingnan.
