Homu By Favilla Hōmu means "home" in Japanese, and you will feel right at home here in this Tsuen Wan branch of the Favilla cafes with adorable cat paintings hung up on the walls To my delight, the homemade Japanese beef curry with scrambled eggs was not spicy at all despite the menu specifying the dish to be “spicy” (of course, Japanese curry is known to be much milder than Indian curry), while the scrambled eggs were super fluffy and the beef was tender. The texture of the fettuccine was not too hard or soft, and the unique miso mayonnaise sauce was rich and creamy. There was a lot more crab meat that I expected, making it quite the bang for the buck. Both the main dishes came with a creamy pumpkin soup, and we got $20 off the iced Baileys latte (applicable to all alcoholic drinks).The strong caffeine flavor had a hint of smooth Baileys liqueur, which was quite special as we had never tasted anything like it before. For a sweet ending, we ordered the Fuji apple rare cheesecake, which had thin layers of sponge cake on the top and bottom with velvety cream cheese and real apple slices in the middle.
