The full-price ticket includes all three attractions, so visit Jiayuguan Pass first, then the Overhanging Great Wall while you still have the energy to climb, and finally the First Pier of the Great Wall. The Hexi Corridor is the area where the Han Great Wall is most concentrated and best preserved today. These Great Wall beacon towers stretch across the Hexi land, standing tall in the vast desert for two thousand years. In 1539, after 168 years, Jiayuguan Pass and its two wings of the Great Wall and the beacon towers along the line were all completed. It starts from Mount Wenshu, a branch of the Qilian Mountains in the south, connects to the steep cliffs of Heishan Mountain in the north, and links Jiayuguan Pass in the middle, forming a 15-kilometer-long wall. This complete and rigorous military defense system was later known as the "First and Greatest Pass Under Heaven." Transportation: Take a taxi directly from the entrance of the Pass Scenic Area. Preparation: Wear comfortable shoes and windproof clothing.
