Nagoya Travel Guide: Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is quite large, and this time, I mainly visited the zoo. There are many small animals and rare species to see. The environment is pleasant, with plenty of delicious food that isn't overpriced just because it's a tourist spot. You can also enjoy boating and amusement park rides (not included in the 500 yen adult admission ticket). I saw the famous gorilla Shabani, known as the most handsome gorilla ever! He's really handsome and quite popular, and he seems to know he's a star, always posing for visitors.
