Nanko Central Park

Nanko Central Park is located in front of the Nanko North entrance of the Hanshin Expressway. It's a convenient spot to use the restroom and take a lunch break before getting on the expressway. Once you get on the expressway, there are no available parking spaces within Osaka city. There are no convenience stores nearby, so you can't buy drinks to add to your bento, making this area surprisingly inconvenient. For some reason, this usually expensive parking lot becomes temporarily free during holidays. Even if you don't park in the lot, the shoulder of the road is wide enough, making it easy for trucks to park on the road.
