Xianhua Mountain in Jinhua, Zhejiang: A Leisure Hiking Travel Guide

Jinhua's Pujiang Xianhua Mountain loop is about 10km in total, with an accumulated ascent of around 700 meters. The path consists mostly of stairs, and the last 200 meters near the summit is a steep and challenging wild climb, which is almost vertical and requires the use of both hands and feet. It is not recommended for beginners. If you simply want to hike the loop, you can navigate directly to 'Shidang Village'. However, the first 3km of this loop are interlaced with mountain roads made of stairs. You can drive directly to the foot of the mountain via the mountain road. If you just want to enjoy the scenery without walking too much, you can navigate directly to 'Denggao Village'. The altitude here is already close to 450 meters, which can save you a 3km journey. Denggao Village is also a small ancient village, the former residence of the legendary artist Ma Liang, where you can take a stroll. Continue along the mountain road from Denggao Village for about 1km, and on the right side of the road, there is a noticeable wild trail entrance (pay attention, it's relatively obvious). This entrance is the last wild climbing route, with an approximate ascent of 200 meters, and it is probably the most strenuous part of the entire journey! The last section before reaching the summit is a vertical iron chain ladder, not suitable for those with a fear of heights. When descending from the summit, be sure to keep an eye on the trail, do not just follow the stairs downwards, as there are wild trails that can cut in at any time.
