Songxi Ancient Village

Songxi Ancient Village is located in Baima Town, Pujiang County. It is an ancient village with a history of over 800 years, known for its rich history and culture, unique architectural style, and unique geographical location and natural environment. Two streams (Mingxi and Anxi) flow through the village and finally converge into one stream at the bridge pavilion in the south of the village. Most of the buildings in the ancient village were built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and 1,560 ancient buildings have been preserved, making it one of the best-preserved and largest ancient villages in central Zhejiang. These buildings are mainly made of stone, arranged in a staggered manner, and full of simple charm.
