Traveling across China for a single adventure, I came to the Panlong Ancient Road, a route that promises remarkable views and unforgettable experiences. I crossed half of China from Guangdong ✈️ to reach this spot. In just two days, I drove the route three times to witness Panlong in different light: morning, noon, and night. Each time, the road revealed new and unexpected beauty, offering a uniquely healing experience. ——————————————— 📍 Transportation: Upon reaching Taxkorgan, drive about 20 km towards the Hongqilapu direction. After crossing the ridge, you'll see a road winding through the Kunlun Mountains. From above, it looks like a black dragon coiled in the mountains—an awe-inspiring sight. 🐉🚗 📍 Photography Tips: If you have time, start your journey around 9 AM. By noon, the sunlight illuminates the valley, showcasing the most vibrant colors of the mountains 🌄. Stay until twilight to capture stunning night shots of the Panlong Ancient Road from a high vantage point 🚁. Near the Panlong area, there's a small path leading to a spot popular for breathtaking travel photos 📸. For a truly dramatic view, consider aerial shots 🛩️.
