Gen Mountain - Have you been there? The Gen Mountain scenic area is located within the territory of Xinning County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. The entire Liangshan scenic area includes: Bajiaozhai, Tianyi Lane, Chili Peak, Fuyi River, and Zixia Cave - five major scenic areas, and you can drive to the entrance of each scenic area. There are A/B lines for tickets, and you can choose according to your own time and plan. The ticket is valid for three days starting from entering the first scenic area, so there's no need to worry about not being able to finish in one day. Personal suggestion: Allocate at least two days. The scenic area is open from 07:00 to 17:30. It is recommended to first admire Chili Peak from a distance and then climb Camel Peak, where you can see a dense landscape of Danxia peaks. Camel Peak is famously steep, and those who like excitement must give it a try. The narrowest part of Tianyi Lane is only 30 centimeters, and when you enter and look up, you only see a slit of light, with Danxia cliffs visible everywhere. Bajiaozhai is on the border of Hunan and Guangxi, with one side in Xinning, Hunan, and the other in Ziyuan, Guangxi. Climbing Bajiaozhai allows you to set foot in two provinces at once. The Fuyi River is the mother river of Liangshan, sitting on a bamboo raft with the breeze blowing, surrounded by green mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery on both sides. Local delicacies include Xinning's special blood duck, cured meat, pig's blood meatballs, and rice noodles of various flavors.
