We spent one night here. Room was large, clean and adequate for our needs. The design of the room / bath is a bit different..might say contemporary. It was quiet. Parking is limited near rooms but plenty of spaces in back of one building. There was a small kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee/tea fixings and toaster, dishes, etc., large jacuzzi tub (didn’t use) and separate shower. Our room didn’t have extra toilet tissue, the roll on the holder was a bit 1/3 full, which is fine, but needed an extra. No breakfast available, but you can make your own if you have items. We made toast and coffee in our unit.

Great accommodation and staff amazing. Very accommodating and friendly. We were that comfortable we booked a second night to stay. Highly recommend checking this place out of you want politeness, comfort and close to shops. Thank you for looking after us will definitely be back!

Driving down to Wellington from Bay of Islands, An hour out of Taupō searched for a room for the night online, Booking.com. This place came up with rooms w shared ablutions, communal kitchen, very very reasonable less than$100 cheapest in town, our kind of place. We wanted our own ensuite, so chose a Superior Room, was $90 than was reduced to $83. Our expectations were not high, not for that price. Wow we were actually blown away, expectations exceeded. Great room, friendly staff, clean, spacious and a balcony and view of the Lake if you lean, awesomr👏🏼👍🏼🙏

Great location - across the road is the town or a couple of minutes walk to the lakefront. Most likely the cleanest room we’ve ever stayed in. The owners/managers are the loveliest people (Mum, Dad & daughter) - any questions or queries just ask as they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The cheerful banter between father and daughter was nice to hear. We really liked how the empty rooms have the doors and windows open to air them or as the manager said “let the rooms breathe”. We stayed three nights and we will definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The accommodation location is great as right in front of the lake, however the rooms and amenities are old. The cutleries were not cleaned properly. No coat hangers and had put outerwear on the chairs or couch. The price was cheaper than other waterfront accommodations but I would not consider to stay again.

Perfect location with good facilities and worth the money... Recommended for Taupo stopover or longer stay...

We stayed here as one nighters both in late January and early February. There were 2 single beds in the room as well as a Queen. 2 bathrooms also, the handbasin's hot water was only a tickle from the tap in the upstairs bathroom in unit 3. There was a big spa bath which we did not use. There was both an outdoor sitting.lounging area downstairrs and very sunny balcony upstairs - great for a sundown drink. The February stay had us in a room with only one signle bed and a Queen bed, no updtairs, and a outdoor seating/lounging area, The rooms are clean, well equiped, comfortable and spacious enough. Plenty of bath towels provided also. The rooms reek of air freshner, which I hated but some establishments clearly like using it liberally and unnecessarily. A short walk down a back path on the premises will take you down to the lakeside walkway and beach area, we walked around to the lovely outdoor seating lakeside Millenium bar and had a drink, it was a nice quite spot. The decor is dated and the wallpaper is peeling in parts, a refurb should be on the cards soon. It is very popular so it must be appealing enough. Yes, I would recommend (if you only require a clean bed for the night. Reasonably priced also.

Great motel located right on the lake front. Very comfortable and clean rooms with mineral hot tub in room. Also has mineral pools for guests on site. Carol looked after us so well and was a lovely host. Motel is a short drive from Taupo CBD. Our room had well stocked kitchen facilities for self catering. Motel is being renovated and is on its way to a sparkling update.

Great room - one kingsize bed upstairs and a queensize bed downstairs -jacuzzi in upstairs bedroom and super view of the Lake . Not much noise from the road. Water pressure was excellent . Only thing that would make ot perfect would be a door at the stairs for privacy. ( and champagne glasses -just because bubbles are just best in bubble glasses 😝Pool could use a clean but to be fair it is winter and no one uses it :) very friendly staff . We got an upgrade so always happy with that !
